Went to Lawsons to get Mdf skirting and architrave. Pick up what I needed. Had the yard person cut the skirting down to the lengths I wanted with no problem. Paid at the counter with no fuss. In and out in 10 minutes. Always get good service and nothing is too much trouble. Will always use them.

So booked a delivery for timber decking for 11 th August, spoke to office a number of times on the day and was told it's coming after lunch, then before 5 then arrived at 6:10pm, well I wasn't impressed. Except for the delivery driver MARK what an absolute star. I've met him afew times now on different jobs. And he goes out his way to help me. Honestly a true gentleman and is happy to help. Due to the access to property on a steep hill. MARK was happy to help me as I've sent my labourer home earlier in the day. Well thank you Mark I appreciate your help

30% of the decking timber was badly split and or warped and the 47 x 50 fence rails were not much better. Small order so it should not have been hard, instead I paid a premium for what looked like rejects.

As for the reply I appreciate your response but it's 3 weeks too late. Poor timber already ditched. The quality control should happen at your yard not on the customer site.

I ordered skirting boards at the Crawley depot for delivery. Friendly helpful staff and sorted a delivery date to suit. Boards came well wrapped and driver very polite.
