Could do with an information/ how it all works guide at beginning- just a brief one. Only realised tutor access was limited when I entered classroom. Would have been useful information.

We appreciate your feedback about the guide/how-to feature. There should have been a brief tour which helps you understand the classroom layout, but we will look into this idea more.
With the tutor access - we can amend this should you need more time. Our aim is to allow tutors to move with subsequent cohorts that open up, but we don't want students to need to rush anything. Should you ever need more time, just send an email to us using the speech-bubble icon in the bottom right of the classroom page.

I expected to be educated on the…
I expected to be educated on the process of creating a garden. A significant portion of the series that I've watched so far involves simply pointing to plants and naming them. I would have preferred to spend the tuition on Oudolf's new book.

We're sorry to hear you haven't gotten what you had hoped out of the course so far. Planting the Piet Oudolf Way tries to aid understanding in which plants to choose for form, structure and colour, and how to adapt the Piet Oudolf style for your region.
We try to take everything on board in an effort to constantly improve the learning experience for our students, so will take a look at how more practical elements could be incorporated in the future.

The course went at a good pace and it was useful to be able to dip in and out of it as I had time. Everything was explained very clearly and I found the course notes very useful. It is something I would consider doing again.

I really enjoyed this course
I really enjoyed this course - the video lessons were clear though could perhaps have felt a bit more energetic. But the tutor feedback was really detailed and the lesson notes are very thorough too. I learned a lot!

Assignments really focus learning
I found the video and lecture notes very helpful and informative. The assignments helped me to apply the learning to my own garden. Sadly there wasn’t anyone else on the course to have a discussion with but I am sure that the expert feedback will be useful. I still have a week to go!
