Abby went above and beyond for our client by calling me prior to the mortgage offer being issued to let me know that better mortgage products were available to switch to (without paying a post offer £250 fee). Great service. Client happy!

It appears that as an investor each time an investment comes to end of its agreement there is a failure of payment. This has happened many times on mine and my families accounts. When will Lendinvest get a grip of the problem to ensure its investors retain confidence in the company.

First time I've used LendInvest for a residential mortgage since their flexibiltiy offered my client the loan to income they required.
Extremely impressed by their handling of the application and having access to an underwriter to discuss the more complex details of the case is invaluable.

I used Lendinvest for a unencumbered remortgage with a high level of debt consolidation as they had the most competitive rate available at the time. The underwriting process was very smooth - the case was submitted on 25th July and an offer received on 3rd August which is very quick for specialist residential lending, the client is very pleased. Alasdair was very helpful! Thank you, hopefully the first case of many.

I have worked alongside Lendinvest for a number of years now and my interactions with Lendinvest have always been positive as I find them to be a lender who are client focused. Their app to offer times are very quick. They are transparent in their process which helps me and my clients. Alasdair who is the head underwriter in their residential department is particularly helpful and is always on hand to help where needed.

We have a compliance requirement to place a copy of the regulated mortgage application on file - you do not provide a copy of the electronic application which leaves our regulatory / compliance obligations incomplete.

LendInvest are fast and reliable in terms of seeing deals through to offer for me, which is extremely important for me and my clients. Moreover, common-sense underwriting is always reassuring and being able to keep in touch directly with the underwriters cuts out a lot of the middle-men!
However, my only comment would be legals are a bit slow at the moment.

Had the pleasure of dealing with Jordan who was the underwriter on the case. The whole process from application to offer was not only extremely quick (5 working days - Including physical valuation) but clear, fair and logical. Having direct access and communication from Jordan meant that simple queries were resolved within minutes, combined with their realistic affordability I can foresee using them regularly in the future.

Jordan made the whole process really straight forward.
My clients had a single credit blip in the past which meant they did not fit criteria for the typical high street lenders but LendInvests common sense approach means this lovely couple are now able to own their own home.

Superb service from this lender - Jordan kept in regular contact throughout - highly recommended!!

Whatever you do with this company and their solicitors you have to use on their panel (you won’t find a local firm that’s for sure) make sure you don’t exchange contracts in advance. They pulled their offer the day before completion using a ridiculous excuse known about from day 1, that happened to coincide with Liz Truss and the overnight hike in interest rates. Looks like they didn’t want to honour the 10 yr fix I was having. Their ‘approved’ solicitors were the worst firm I’ve ever come across in over 35yrs of buying / selling property. Cost me their legals, searches etc , strange how it was pulled once they were paid in advance, time, inconvenience, a tenant their house and the seller an expensive inconvenience. Poor show from this company that really wasn’t necessary and a law firm that doesn’t appear to know it’s arxx from its elbow and seemed unable to sort out even the most basics of conveyancing . Most disappointing.

Our underwriter Jordan, was absolutely brilliant - communication being one of his greatest strengths which is imperative to a successful application. He also used a common-sense thinking approach to the lending itself. Sadly we were left feeling disappointed initially with the different feedback we were getting on how the case would be reviewed (pre-application), however once Jordan took ownership of this matter, it was smooth sailing.
