Huge mistake buying from Lenovo Battery Shop
I purchased a replacement battery for my Lenovo laptop. Having watch a couple of YouTube videos and taking the proper static precautions, I swopped the old battery with the new really easily. That's when my problems started, I connected the power cord and switched the computer on, it rebooted OK but before I had a chance to put in my password it switched itself off. I tried a second time and the screen told me that Windows had not opened properly and switched off again. I decided that perhaps the battery needed charging so I left it till this morning and charged the battery for 4 hours. Switched it on, same on /off scenario. So I left the battery to charge all day and have tried again this evening to start the computer, same thing, started up and then immediately switched off. What I am particularly unhappy about is I tried to reach Lenovo Battery Shop or should I say AolsteCell by live chat and email during the day but but got no response to my question as to what might have gone wrong. This evening I decided I must have a dud battery as it would not take any charge so I tried to remove the battery. Unlike the OEM battery connection which unconnected and slid away from its connection port with nominal pressure, the Lenovo Battery Shop battery would not budge repeating the original successful process. Gradually I increased the pressure to remove the battery connection then suddenly the plastic connection block split causing some of the multiple battery wires inside the block to break away, what a disaster! I eventual manage to ease this connection block away to remove the battery, but unfortunately in breaking whilst being removed it has left bits of plastic inside the metal battery receiving block soldered to the PCB board and I am unable to remove them which means they are preventing me sliding the old battery connection block back in and in doing so reconnecting my old battery. What a complete nightmare, which is now probably going to cost me considerably more than the cost of the new battery to get my computer repaired. I am seriously fed up and wish I had never bought this dud battery from Lenovo Battery Shop. Lesson learnt never buy from a company who do not have a UK landline which they answer to offer technical support.

Speedy delivery
Speedy delivery, but battery incredibly complicated to insert. It would have cost me a lot of money to take it into a shop had my brother-in-law not been able to do it.
I was a little disappointed that with the battery life of two hours or so.

Excellent customer service. Batteries look exactly like original. My original battery seemed to suddenly die, so tried
one of this companies replacements. Unfortunately the first battery I got didn't work but in hindsight it was an issue with my laptop. They sent me out a 2nd
battery no questions asked as replacement for the first, however this didn't work either - windows recognised both of them as 100% charged but my laptop wouldn't run on battery power still. I took it to a repair centre that found water damage on the main board. So 4 stars as have very good customer service and seem genuine and honest company but i can't in all honesty say that the batteries worked. However this is far more likely to be an issue with my laptop, rather than the batteries supplied.

The replacement battery arrived safely and on time. The inclusion of two small screwdrivers with it made the replacement much easier. Very good price and the new battery is holding charge well.

Getting the right battery first time.
The replacement battery that I had no problem identifying arrived on time and just with enough packaging necessary for it to arrive safely. There was also two small screwdrivers with it that made the actual replacement much easier, well done you.

Good price, slow delivery. Promised 3-5 working days. I phoned after 5 working days to nudge them. Fairly relaxed attitude! Eventually they agreed to send that day and it arrived the next.

I’m glad they advised me to look inside my laptop before ordering, so I could choose the correct battery.
I’m glad I photographed the connections before removing as I the wires to one connector were twisted through 180 degrees under the battery.
