Top service - I've used a number of camera hire companies in the past and have been disappointed so many times. I came across LenPimp through a Google search and have used these guys for lens hire on quite a few shoots now. I've found them super reliable, reasonably priced, friendly and accommodating. So it's a thumbs up from me.

Prompt service with collection included makes everything easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

My experience of hiring from Lenspimp was extremely satisfying. The process was explained to me very clearly, over the website chat and then over the phone. I was able to easily discuss the equipment to establish if it met my requirements. Once my order was processed I received the camera and lens via DPD on the agreed date and time allocated. The equipment I received was as ordered and I enjoyed many hours of photography. Returning the equipment was just as slick and easy, with DPD collecting at a specified time. The added bonus for me was as I hired over Christmas I was able to take advantage of the extended hire period on offer. I would definitely use Lenspimp again and recommend to others.

Overall good service, friendly customer service when called to enquire. Would have perhaps preferred better packaging allowing me to safely carry the lens whilst travelling, other than that can't really fault anything else!

I needed a specific lens for a client shoot and took a look at various rental options online. I’m glad I went with Lenspimp. Great service, fast, efficient and exactly what I was looking for. I’ll be using them again for sure.

All of the comments that I give below are based on my own experience of renting 5 sony lenses from lenspimp.

So I first saw lenspimp on google when I tried to find a place to rent lenses, and I initially thought that lenspimp wasn't that reliable because their website is a bit simple and crude (sorry mate). But soon I realized that my worry was unnecessary. Lenspimp is a legit place to rent lenses.

There are a very wide range of lenses, but not so for the cameras (I hope that you guys can have the latest cameras soon!).

I then tried to give them a call to discuss the renting process, and everything was very smooth from this point on. Although they didn't always reply to my email very promptly (which is a little bit frustrating), I find that calling them on phone will always get my concerns solved. There will be no bullsh*t when in the phone call, straight away someone there will pick up the call and discuss the issue with me, which is very good. This is what I'll call "high quality customer service". (I think I called them too many times that they might even recognize my name by now lol)

I rented 5 very expensive lens for a shooting, and lenspimp didn't ask for a deposit, but they did confirmed with me that I'll handle all lenses very carefully.

The bonus point is that lenspimp uses DPD for delivery, and the whole process is pretty smooth. DPD is known for their quality service. On the delivery day, the driver gave me a phone call when the parcel is arrived.

All lenses have their own bad/case, and they are packed with care in a single large box upon delivery. nice.

All lenses come with from and back cap and lens hood, and almost all lenses come with a UV filter, although the quality of the uv filter isn't that good, but it's ok. And of course I got the lenses which I ordered, and all lenses are in perfect condition (I'll say it's "like-new") with no marks or any sign of use. All lenses are fully functional.

I think the most prominent advantage of lenspimp is that they don't require a deposit (at least in my case), whereas other companies will require a deposit once they heard that I'm not a UK national. What a shame :)

Overall, I'm very satisfied with lenspimp. And their prices for renting is also not absurdly high, I'll say it's reasonably priced. But when considering that usually no deposit is required, Lenspimp becomes really a bargain in my opinion.

edit: Lenspimp did ask me for proof of identity and address, since it's the first time that I rent from them. They reviewed my document promptly and verified that I don't need to pay the deposit in the phone call, so the whole process is also quite efficient.

Excellent customer service, to go alongside a great overall service. Very quick delivery which means short notice hires (which we have sometimes) can be accommodated, alongside a very easy return procedure with collections arranged for you.
Have been using this company since around 2012 and continue to do so.

It was great to be able to try a lens to help me decide if it was the lens I wanted to purchase. I chose local pick up and this was easy I arranged a rough time to collect, he came outside to meet me and gave me the lens then I returned it at the end of the hire in the same way. Very happy with the service, would recommend for anyone wanting to try a lens or requiring one for a particular shoot.

Great price and service, Adam managed to get the lens delivered early for piece of mind and was helpful organisation a second collection when the courier did not turn up, would highly recommend
