Excellent warranty, but obsoleting inventory is bad decision

Excellent warranty, excellent customer service; but management deletes inventory when making product changes, impacting customers with warranty replacements across the years.
1) First time, battery source replaced by electric charging. Required customer to buy new remote and then multiple shades in room do not work together.
2) Second time, colors were changed. With multiple shades in a room required all new shades.
3) Next, mounting brackets were changed for new shade boxes. Had to remove old brackets, drill new holes, mount new brackets for new version box. New install is easier,but current product does not work with existing brackets.

"If you want blinds that can be operated you will need to buy custom products" - Levolor Customer Service

I purchased 5 Levolor aluminum miniblinds. When they were installed at the top of the window in a 9' ceiling New York City pre-war apartment, they were completely out of reach for operating. The blinds are 6' long but when they are installed in a high window they can be over 8.5' from the floor. The wand was only about a foot long. The blinds cannot be lifted to the top or pulled down without a ladder! When I called the customer service number I was told that if I wanted blinds that could be operated I would need to order custom blinds. They offered no fix.

Amazing customer service after moving into house with Levolor blinds

Moved into a house with Levolor blinds throughout. The blinds looked nice and worked well, but one was missing the wand and stem that plugs into the tilt mechanism. I messaged Levolor customer service via their website to inquire where I could buy replacement parts. They responded promptly, and after getting more information about my blinds, they shipped me not one, but two sets of replacement parts for FREE. Keep in mind I have never purchased anything from them. If this is how they treat strangers, their customers must be in great hands!

Instructions wrong - valance bracket very poorly designed

Your installation instructions are actually wrong! Hint: Contrary to what the instructions say, do not locate the center bracket in the center - it will interfere with the center strings (who knew). The design of the valance brackets is horrible. the valance keeps falling of during installation and you cannot install the valance after installation. This definitely is the worst design ever. Not only would I not recommend your product, I would advise people not to buy your product! I'm very sorry I bought levolors. I spent have a day dealing with your bad instructions and poor design. I would advise people consider other brands.

Motorized failure

We purchased roman shades for our entire home, two of which were motorized for some upper windows. One worked for about two months, and the other for about 6 months. Recharged but neither would work from that point forward. Tried all the helps but no change - would not recommend anyone buying the motorized units.

I purchased blinds through Blinds.com…

I purchased blinds through Blinds.com all Levolor real wood blinds with self retracting feature, 6 years ago now and today I had my first real issue. somehow, not sure how, the guest room blind got damaged. I contacted Levolor and within a week I was getting a new one sent. They only required a receipt of purchase and a photo. I actually did not have the receipt. Blinds.com provided it for me. There still are good American made products and good American people.

We Love Our New Blinds!!!

My significant other Dan, and I have seven windows in our new space that we put the Levolor Cellular shades in.

We’ve had to replaces blinds number 1,2,4,6, and 7. Because of either motor failure, or battery failure. But, every time I called Levolor. They always sent out a replacement blind at no charge.

We just replaced our last blind that needed replacing, and all of them are working together again smoothly. We love the ease of pushing the button on the remote, and having all of them go up, and down.

Customer service over the phone. With the people I have talked to. They’ve been helpful. Even with setup when the replacement blind would get put in.

Dan, and I both have a physical disability, and it is hard for us. For as many windows that we have in our new room. That the cellular shades are in.

To pull down/push up on manual blinds. Whether we had the cordless ones, or not. Having the motorized blinds really help us out a lot. Especially for me since I am a wheelchair user.

They all need to match!

I ordered the blinds for all 11 windows on the same day at the same time on May 13th. They all came in and were installed except one in the kitchen. Lowe's had transposed numbers in the width and it was too small. Simply order it again in the right size, right? Nope.Levolor no longer carries this particular blind. Pick something close. OK. The one I picked looked very close and being on a parallel wall, should work. Well, I didn't realize and no one bothered to tell me that the new one was black on the back side while all of the others were white on the outside. So now on the front of the house, in a nice neighborhood, where many people walk, I have one black blind and 2 white ones that are seen very clearly. Levolor is way too expensive to not be satisfied. I would not recommend Levolor. They are not eager to help and the entire process took a long time, almost 3 months.

Terrible quality

Terrible quality - spent a couple thousand dollars on blinds for my home and after 3 years the blinds have dry rotted and just rip off - they have sent replacements, however, I have to install them myself. The strings and appliance are different than the originals so 2 of the windows do not match the other six. I was left with repair work and appliances that do not match. The material never should have ripped - they are made for windows. I had to pay someone to install them and now my walls have several holes where the old appliance was. I do not recommend!

Levolor custom blinds-huge delays, terrible compensation

Ordered my custom roller blinds from Levolor at the beginning of September and with repeated delays have been told now that I won't get them before Christmas which is months later than the original delivery date that was communicated to me when I purchased them. As a bigger kick in the teeth, the best that they could do for compensation was $50 off the price which is completely inadequate for the time delays and inconvenience caused. As a result of my experience with Levolor, I will never, ever buy from them again.

Good blinds and great customer service

Good blinds and the company really stands behind their product. We had Levolor Roman Shades for about eight years, they recently started to rip. The Shades had a ten year warranty. We had emails from eight years ago for proof of purchase and Levolor replaced the blinds for no cost (including shipping). Their shades and blinds are very high quality and they stand behind their warranty.
