Communication and scheduling was good.
Installer didn’t replace valves even though they were included with the tank.
Replacement tanks are expensive!

Told it would replace my water softener and be much healthier for my family including our dogs & fish. It is a lie and false advertising. DO NOT purchase this system!!! Called company today requesting a full refund and requesting the system be removed. They said they would have to come out and have scheduler call me back right away. Still no call 10 hours later. System was purchased 7/29/25 and has not been filtering anything from the water. I just had a tankless water heater installed a month ago and was told the water was so poor that I need to get a water softener so the water does not damage the new system. The lifesource water system does not do what it is advertised or salesperson said that it does. I will do whatever I need to do to get a full refund and not let this happen to any other innocent families.

The only not-great thing was that a $200 deposit was supposed to be charged to my credit card, with the balance being charged upon completion. The entire amount was charged prior to the work being done.

Initially your conversation regarding your system update was explained correctly, that a $200 deposit could be used to begin the order process, with the remaining balance due after the work was completed. However, when it came time to place the order, the misunderstanding was that maybe you had chosen to pay the full amount at the time of purchase rather than making only the deposit.
While memories of conversations can differ, we should always be very careful when discussing pricing and payment arrangements with our customers and strive to ensure our expectations are clear throughout the process. I enjoy the water filter but had i know at the time of purchase that every two years replace the small filter and five years the big filter at the cost of almost 4500 seems excessive

The replacement being referenced is for the optional ScaleSolver component, not the entire LifeSource water system itself. The ScaleSolver is designed to help reduce the effects of hard water scale buildup on plumbing fixtures, appliances, and faucets by altering how minerals in the water behave. Over time, the media inside the ScaleSolver becomes depleted through normal use and is engineered to be replaced approximately every five years in order to continue performing effectively. Because water quality and hardness levels vary greatly by location and household usage, the ScaleSolver plays an important role in helping maintain the system’s overall performance and minimizing long-term scale accumulation throughout the home.
