Called in and talked with Kat, who purchased the tickets for me. She was very good at her job and very knowledgeable although she said she had just started not long b4. Jake also contacted me within a few hrs. and gave me his info and said he was available if I have any questions. Asked him a couple questions a couple months later, and he responded promptly. Got tickets for St. Louis 2026. Very well put together and engaging event. Learned a lot and also very inspiring. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

I attended Life Surge events hoping for genuine biblical wisdom on faith, life, and finances, drawn in by well-known Christian figures as speakers. The initial ticket was affordable, and the event started with worship and motivational talks that felt uplifting.

However, the day quickly became a nonstop sales funnel. After building excitement and trust with faith-based messaging, they repeatedly pushed attendees to buy the “next step”—starting with free classes, then escalating to expensive mentorship programs, trading software, real estate training, or investment packages costing tens of thousands of dollars. The pressure was intense: claims that you needed to act fast, find “better deals,” or commit more to see real results. It felt like no matter what you did, there was always another level to unlock, with little actual practical teaching or support provided.

I ended up investing $40,000 across these upsells, believing it was a legitimate opportunity aligned with Christian values. Unfortunately, it did not deliver the promised results, and the experience left me feeling manipulated and financially devastated. The focus seemed far more on extracting money than on meaningful Kingdom impact or sustainable wealth-building.

There are many similar stories from other attendees online (check BBB complaints, Trustpilot negative reviews, and Facebook groups like “Life Surge Complaints”). This is not a ministry—it’s a for-profit company using faith to sell high-ticket programs that appear too good to be true because, for most people, they are.

I strongly urge anyone considering Life Surge to research thoroughly beforehand, read independent reviews, and think twice before committing significant money. Save yourself the heartbreak and potential loss—there are better, more transparent ways to learn about finances and grow in faith.

Make sure to research reviews other than Lifesurge website! We were so excited to attend this 'Christian' seminar. It's a sales scheme using Christianity to draw people. The 3 day course they push to sell is $97 which is a course on investing, where you will then be pushed to purchase a $19k - $40,000 investment into their investment software. Wowwww, they even have some loan officers to help you obtain a loan. We were so disappointed and drained knowing that proclaimed Christians are ok with pushing a program that results in a sales pitch for more money.

Just a sales pitch. Waste of time! This is absolute blasphemy, claiming to be day of worship , but instead you have to listen to information about their classes.
I absolutely got a kick out of their disclaimer *during the show* stating that none of the people their are licensed to give the information they were giving yet they don’t explain the risks of their TERRIBLE “strategies”.
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL and shame on the people that put it together.

From time in memorial I only involve myself with only two kinds of online investment.
Purchase/investing into Lifesurge.com and also investing into online passive real estate with Frontier Invest Corp. This two online firm made me what I am today financially and I will forever be grateful.

The customer services are always professional and they deliver payments on time. Kudos to team good work!

Great education from a Kingdom building perspective. Nice to learn from like minded people.

The speakers were motivating. Good names in the Christian community. I wonder if they know the product that is being sold. That said, I signed up for the three day classes @$97 which seemed suspect due to the statement that the classes were $2000 (first it was "thousands") "but the founder of Life Surge agreed to bring it down to $97". What do i have to lose? ... $97. Money back promise. HOWEVER, money back means that I need to find the way to request my money back WITHIN 7 days. I found a slip (notice of cancelation) inside of the book that came with the $97 purchase that reads "You may cancel within 7 business days from the date above..." I have to fill out the slip and get it to them in the mail or in person - 4 hour drive from me, or US postal service - how long will that take now that I am three days out from the event when I paid for the class? After reading these reviews, I see what is going on here, it makes sense. Let's see if I can retrieve my $97. I will keep you posted

Very Disapointed, 30 dollar parking fee,I purchased "premier"tickets to have to sit very far away from stage to have to be constantly moving from side to avoid having to look at the persons head in front of me,the screen that i had to watch was all the way in the front,very hard to watch,also couldnt hear that well, looks like they placed speakers all the way in front,I left halfway through the second australian speaker with heavy accent, I couldnt take it anymore

This class was truly life, changing! They kept it faith based, honest and wholesome as promised. This class delivered on multiple levels.

Just went through the real estate surge in Lansing. It was amazing! The knowledge gained is priceless. Could not sign up for classes at this time but will continue to follow this community so I can join in the future. Shawn's presentation was awesome! Cori was so knowledgeable and sincere. She considered my situation over a sale of the membership. She's a sweetheart.❤️ Also Troy gave his testimony and it was very moving. Brought lives to Christ and I am so blessed to have been a part of that class! Worship was wonderful and all the staff attending were so nice. God bless you all for all you sacrifice for God's kingdom!

I went to the Baltimore event. I was not satisfied with any reference to Charlie Kirk. He was not a fan to women of African descent. Too many speakers repeating the same things. Lots not nice and just plain rude - the man with the red shirt. Not enough food vendors. Poor air conditioning in the building. Hot! Not enough worshiping with songs. Few reference to the gospel. Too much marketing - Three times was too much. The greatest disappointment- Priscilla only talked for 30 minutes and last. She didn't need this forum. The people would have come out just for her. It was not what I thought it would be and I wished I would have researched the organization prior to attending.

The best instructor with great knowledge presented in manageable doses for a new student to business. The team made this experience welcoming, fun and enjoyable.

I and a friend both had wonderful, inspiring, uplifting-toward-Father God, Jesus & Holy Spirit experiences often throughout the event.
The worship music & Christian testimonies strongly facilitated deep connections very often with our Amazing Triune God & with many other attendees through the Holy Spirit who was palpably present often, by God’s Grace!!!
Tears of Joy often were present in the two of us & others around us.
Teachings & testimonies & even music helped me to re-examine, once again, & grow in my being a good steward of the gifts of financial & health & servant-heart & ministry, that God has Blessed me with.
I truly grew in love more my Triune God & with my fellow human beings, both Christian and non-Christian alike, through experiences in this Event by the Holy Spirits prompting & Gods Grace!!!
I have already and will continue to recommend these events.

Riding the emotional wave, the funnel tightened upselling classes for $97. Instead of following the crowd, I started reading reviews; many attendees experienced poor results or outright disappointment. The three 8-hour "training" days I attended tightened the funnel with upsells costing $25,000-$45,000.

This type of "seminar circus" is not new. It began with Dale Carnegie in the 1930s-40s, continued with Earl Nightingale and Napoleon Hill in the 1950s-60s, then Tom Hopkins and Zig Ziglar in the 1970s-80s, followed by Tony Robbins and Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad) in the 1990s-2000s. Today, it's been repackaged with Kingdom language in Jesus' name. The sales psychology is wolfy, worldliness in sheep's clothing.

Here are the ten psychological triggers normally used:
1. Authority & Credibility -- Famous names, bestselling authors, and millionaires position themselves as experts you must follow.
2. Social Proof -- Rooms full of cheering attendees and testimonies create FOMO and conformity.

8. Information Asymmetry -- The details stay vague until you've already paid.

But let's be honest: if you aren't already thriving with your gifts, will giving them $25K-$45K truly change that? Or are you being seduced by wolves in sheep's clothing (Matt. 7:15)? They even arrange financing--pay them up front, then let a finance company lend you the money back. Jesus warned: "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be wise as serpents and innocent as doves" (Matt. 10:16).

My heart broke as multiple attendees publicly confessed family members were begging them not to spend so much. One said, "I'm in a text fight with my dad right now." Others admitted they didn't want to tell anyone what they had done (fallacy #5). Buying into "Christian" real estate training for $45,000 is hard to explain without shame. To counter this, speakers repeatedly dismissed loved ones as "naysayers who don't pay your bills." That's not discipleship--it's manipulation. God does not call us to ignore wise counsel, silence our conscience, or disobey His Word just to follow greedy wolves (Prov. 1:23-33).

I have lost respect for the famous Christian speakers selling their platforms to this system for $100-200K honorariums only to lead God's people into being fleeced. Scripture warns us: "From the least of them to the greatest, everyone is greedy for unjust gain" (Jer. 6:13). "Like a partridge that gathers a brood she did not hatch, so is he who gets riches but not by justice" (Jer. 17:11). "One who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth… will only come to poverty" (Prov. 22:16). Paul rebukes those who "peddle the word of God for profit" (2 Cor. 2:17).

Do not be deceived. Jesus warned, "Many will come in my name… and will lead many astray" (Mark 13:6; Luke 21:8). If you are in Christ, seek faithfulness by faith, obedience, hard work, generosity, and trust the Lord to provide--not manipulative schemes wrapped in Kingdom branding. Don't be fleeced in Jesus name!

The staff was amazing. Pip is a great sport and they all answered all our questions. Loved the visual aids and videos helped a lot. Loved how it included everything that was advertised.

I went to this conference expecting to learn about biblical principles for all areas of my life but what this conference is about them selling classes and software to buy and sell on the stock market it’s really sad they use Jesus to do it. If you’re expecting a Christian conference you will be disappointed. If you’re wanting to listen to a sella pitch then this is for you. I know their response will say they can’t verify that I attended the conference and I have a receipt from buying the tickets.

I am so disappointed with Life Surge in Grand Rapids.

(1) The Host asked the audience to not record the event.
(2) All money oriented on how to make wealth and glorify God.
(3) The bait and spin is to pay for their wealth building classes.

I was shocked to to Nick Vujicic at part of this. I understand that we need to work hard to survive, and Nick's story on the stock market and real estate is an amazing testimony, but he only spoke of this topic for a few minutes and spoke of his testimony and biblical message. After Nick it was all about wealth.

(4) No Alter Call.
(5) No Salvation Message.

The speakers are all celebrities that are being paid for their public speaking.

The praise music and Nick was the only thing I liked.

(Nick looked a bit tired and winded. He's promoting his movie for next year. His speech seemed routine. Still... it was my first time seeing Nick.)

Wow, I made a huge mistake.
