I love Outer

I love Outer! I have owned my furniture for about 3 years, and it still looks as new as the day it was purchased. If you are looking for quality and longevity, I highly recommend Outer Furniture!

Myself and my family love out Outer…

Myself and my family love out Outer items. We started off small with a love couch and chair and have expanded that love couch to a sofa and added the table and now the new Adirondack chairs. Anytime I have a question or concern the customer care team is always quick with a response and solution. I would recommend Outer to anyone who love spending time outside and want something that will last for years to come.

I love my Outer sofa

I Love my Outer sofa.
I understand some have had issues with delivery but with all that's going on in the world right now I wouldn't blame Outer. I truly believe the company does its best to get the furniture to us when they say they're going to get it to us. And my experience with customer service has been great. You won't regret buying this furniture. It's comfortable. It's going to last a very very long time and you're going to love it.

Buy once, do it right, and be done!

I can't say enough about how much I like my Outer furniture! I was an early adopter and got my Outer at the beginning of Covid times. My family has used it a lot, and we still do! Five years later, it still looks brand new! I have neighbors who have replaced their outdoor furniture multiple times in the same period, and I just tell them "Should have bought Outer!" It's worth every penny!

Love these products and company

Love these products and company. Have had my furniture for over 4 years and it still looks amazing and is very comfortable. I had the first version of the sofas and had an issue with the back cushions (they have since been redesigned to fix this issue). The company was so helpful to resolve the issue and my couches are back to looking like new. Looking forward to getting another 5+ years out of these sofas

Would Order Again

Extremely pleased with the quality of my teak outdoor sectional and coffee table. Upon delivery of my concrete end tables, one had a minor crack from shipping and Outer made it right without issue.

Yes, we are used to next day shipping in today’s world, and it did take roughly 6 weeks to receive my furniture, but the wait was worth it. The quality of the furniture is top notch and the delivery and assembly was perfection.

Customer service experience was 10/10 and I would be more than willing to order again.

Had an absolute stellar experience with…

Had an absolute stellar experience with the team at Outer. 1st, I bought their amazing sectional sofa with the built in covers. Works and looks great. So I then bought their umbrellas, beautiful and resistant to high winds. Finally I had their decking system installed. Highly professional team that built the 20x20 innovate structure with pergola in one day. Wow. This company rocks!

Exceptional Outdoor Furniture – Worth Every Penny

We purchased two full outdoor furniture sets from Outer (one for our main home and another for our vacation home) and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Each set included the Charcoal Aluminum Outdoor Sofa with Armchairs, Rectangular Aluminum Coffee Tables, two complete Dining Table sets (with Armchairs, Armless Chairs, and a Dining Bench), Ottomans, and Teak Coffee Tables.

The quality and craftsmanship are top-tier. The charcoal aluminum frames are not only modern and beautiful but incredibly durable. The cushions are plush and comfortable, and both the Sandstone Gray and Pacific Fog Gray colors look refined and inviting. When Sandstone Gray was briefly out of stock, Outer offered to send Pacific Fog covers to avoid delay, then followed through with the Sandstone Gray once available—a thoughtful touch that reflects their exceptional customer service.

The “OuterShell” protective covers are one of our favorite features. They’re built right into the cushions, making it effortless to protect the furniture from the elements. Compared to our old Costco set, which required two people and a wrestling match to get covers on, Outer’s design is a game changer.

Guests constantly compliment the setup, and we find ourselves spending far more time outdoors than ever before. These pieces have transformed our outdoor spaces.

We wholeheartedly recommend Outer to anyone looking for premium outdoor furniture with intelligent design and white-glove service.

Comfortable and quality hardware

Easy to unpack, included all of the hardware, easy assembly. As a husband that has to assemble this stuff I loved the quality hardware. I also like how easy it is to cover up the cushions with the built-in covers before a storm. Love the comfort. It is what an outdoor sofa should be: comfortable when you are ready to sit and sturdy. The quality and sturdiness of material are so reassuring in a world where every product seems to be getting cheaper and worse.

The outer shell is the greatest…

The outer shell is the greatest invention in outdoor furniture history. Every detail is super considered. The sofas feel like they will last 20 years through winter and rainy seasons alike - the quality is - if you know you know good.

Have had a terrible time getting furniture delivered or getting anyone to response with an answer to as why my order is just sitting there pending pickup for 5 days & counting.

Ongoing frustration . . .

While the quality of the furniture is great, I agree with others that customer service and shipping are terrible and extremely frustrating. I ordered deck furniture in early March for a June 13 event thinkin that was more than enough time given the 2 - 3 week promise on the website. I understand delays happen but I just received the furniture today - June 6 -- with BARE cushions. The 3rd party shipper claimed they knew nothing about covers and that they are only responsible for the items they have in the truck. Now I have a bunch of furniture that cannot be used and I now have to find space to store these cushions since they are unable to be outside in the elements. The lack of transparency post-sale is very disappointing - especially for what is promoted to be a high end retailer. I would not recommend ordering from Outer unless you are willing to put up with significant delivery delays and mistakes.

UPDATE: I bumped up this review from 1 to 3 stars, as after I posted this the customer service team did reach out to arrange for expedited shipping of my missing cushion covers. It's unfortunate that things don't run more smoothly as the furniture really is lovely. Thanks!

No status updates and very delayed

I’m very unsatisfied with the level of communication regarding the status of my shipment. I ordered my furniture on March 26 and it’s been almost 10 weeks with no update on estimated shipping timeframes or anything. Like other customers, there have been several emails back and forth with empty promises on how quickly the order would be shipped. I would really like to cancel the order at this point which is a shame because I really appreciated the design concept. I was willing to wait if the quality was high, but this is becoming unacceptable.

Large order, no shipment, no information

While I have received my cushions I have no information on all the furniture I ordered back in February (2/16 - when my card was charged). I have reached out to customer service multiple times. Was promised it would ship in 6 days over on 5/14. Now cannot get an answer at all and have no shipping confirmation. My order was over $10k so this is getting extremely worrisome.

Overpromised and UNdelivered

Starting this review with the comment that I remain excited to receive my outer furniture - based on everything I've read, the QUALITY of their furniture is stellar. Unfortunately, 4 months after ordering my furniture (which was originally estimated to ship in 2 months) I am still in the dark about my actual shipping date.

I completely understand that delays can happen (especially these days) and do not fault the company for this. My issue is 100% with their failure to provide proactive, regular, and realistic updates. Every update that I've received was initiated by an email from me and resulted (generally 3-4 days later) in a promise that went unfulfilled. My last promise from Outer was that shipment (and a tracking number) would happen last week. And yet here I sit with no tracking number and dwindling expectations.

If/when the shipment arrives, I would love to update this review with a glowing account of how it was all worth the wait...but I'm not holding my breath.
