money taken but no will provided
they took the money over the phone and phoned back with an appointment to go through details. They called back and asked who beneficiaries were and if we had a LPA. They said it is essential that we have that. They said they would email over a draft copy of the will and a video to watch. This never arrived we called them back several times with different email addresses but still did not receive anything. I have called them several times and they say someone will get back to you. I dont know if this is a legitimate company but they have taken the money but we have no will. I am surprised at the quick response on Trustpilot, shame they wasn't that quick with the will or refund that we had no idea about. Im must clarify no attempts at all were made to call the office to let us know the money had been refunded.

Hi,
We would like to clarify that your matter has already been cancelled and fully refunded, as we were unable to proceed with your Will due to concerns regarding capacity.
We have made multiple attempts to contact you to explain our position and the circumstances surrounding this decision, but unfortunately we have been unable to reach you.
We are therefore disappointed to see the suggestion that your payment has simply been taken without action, when the matter has already been cancelled and the payment refunded.
Please contact us at your earliest convenience so that we can discuss the matter with you directly and explain our position fully.
Kind Regards - Secure Legacy
Very disappointed
Very disappointed , felt pressured to purchase other policy’s if we had not already paid we would have hung up the call . Not the experience we had hoped for . She was very pushy . We had recommended our friends but have told them to go elsewhere . Not a nice experience at all . Would not recommend

Hi,
All of our will writers have a legal and ethical duty of care to highlight any potential vulnerabilities or risks in a client’s estate planning. That means we are required to explain additional protections, even if a client has come in only wanting the basics.
The intention is never to pressure, but to ensure that clients are making fully informed decisions, rather than discovering later that something important was never mentioned.
Ultimately, all decisions always remain with you.
Kind Regards - Secure Legacy
Highly recommend
After a misunderstanding, that was dealt with swiftly. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They were very swift with their email replies and with any questions that I had. Can’t fault them with their service. Highly recommend.

Hi,
Thank you for your review.
The purpose of sending a draft Will is precisely so that the client can review it, identify any amendments required and inform us of any changes before the document is finalised. Drafts are not intended to be treated as the final version.
We are required to explain the additional protection options available to clients because many of our customers require or benefit from these provisions. Explaining these options is not the same as upselling, and there is no obligation to purchase any additional service.
We are disappointed that you were unhappy with the service, but we will not accept inaccurate or defamatory allegations about our company.
Regards - Secure Legacy

This is a quick and cheap way to write…
This is a quick and cheap way to write a simple will. You do however need two be aware that They will try to add themselves es as executors (which keeps them involved and so down the line will cost money in fees) Also make sure that they are not made the trustees as this will mean they store your will and will charge you. Be very firm on what you want before you sign and it will only cost you £47.
