Yemeni Sidr Honey is one of the finest and rarest honeys in the world. Its distinctive taste, health promoting nutritious values and limited harvesting gives it this reputation. But what makes our honey so special? Our honey is sourced from the biblical Lote Tree, or the ‘Tree of Life’ otherwise known as the Ziziphus spina christiplant. Grown in the desert valleys of Tihamah, our honey is harvested only twice a year – once during the peak of the summer heat and once more during the cooler winds of autumn. Thus, throughout the harvests we are able to appreciate the variances in taste and texture. The Sidr tree spreads its branches across vast valleys from which the aroma easily attracts the bees that look forward to the rich feast served in the flower caps of these trees. The nectar produced inside the flowers is extremely potent and full of nutritional values which contribute to the medicinal qualities of the honey. It is also rich with antimicrobial properties which come from non-peroxide activity. In Yemen, the method of beekeeping has always been a traditional one with a lot of diligence and craft often passed from one generation to the next. No chemicals or drugs allowed. No machinery used at all. All are done using simple tools, a little smoke and glistening machetes. The result? Simple. Rich and tasty honey – poured, unheated and raw, into containers, thus preserving its vital live enzymatic constituents. And you, our happy customers.

Exceptional quality and distinctive pleasant mesmerising my taste buds Great Honey!
Although the honey arrived after 8 days of order I am indeed impressed with the distinctive natural honey taste and texture. As a regular fan of good quality honey, I can safely say that Lote and Co honey is one of the best I have tasted to date!

The only problem I have
I purchased the pure and raw honey after being recommended it and seeing the reputation of the company.
I definitely vouch for lote and co, I haven’t ever come across honey of such quality.
The only problem I have is that it’s too addictive and I find myself obsessed with it.

Great experience
My experience has been great from the moment I placed my order, the website is easy to navigate through, fast delivery and most importantly the honey is by far the best I have had and they made great gifts for my family/friends who also have expressed how delicious the honey is!

Smooth, fragrant and sweet.
First the taste is great. It is sweet as honey should be but not overwhelming; allowing the flavour of the honey to be enjoyed. It has a nice fragrance. It also has a smooth velvety texture and not runny at all.

Superior quality honey.

Best Sidr Honey on the market!
Best Sidr Honey on the market, we are a family of Honey eating basically we add it to everything from our tea to deserts.
We had some stock from before which was purchased from Saudia Arabia and that was premium @loteandco Sidr Honey is up there. (Plus we bought it on the sales @50% off) bargain.
