Our cat absolutely loves this food! He started quickly eating it up as fast as he could 🤣 and definitely gobbles it up much more than other foods. Nice to have a sustainable product delivered to the door as well.

This food is expensive (to me) for such a tiny bag so I only use it as treats rather than as food every day, but my cats absolutely love it.

I love the concept of Lovebug and everything it stands for, but my cats weren't impressed. They sniffed it and walked away. I was quite disappointed (in them). I am sorry. I've given the rest of the bag to a colleague in the hope his cats are more accepting.

My little lady Ginny loves these biscuits, they are definitely her favourite.

I mixed 2 grams of Lovebug with 18 grams of her usual food for her tea at about 4pm on Thursday. She ate it fine. Soon after 1am she woke me up vomitting all over the bed and proceeded to vomit and bring up bile and white froth all over the house, she was crying and at one point was lying on her side panting which she has never done before and obviously was very worrying. She calmed down then started bringing up a load of bile again around 6am. I made an appointment with the vet and they said to call the emergency number if she got worse again but thankfully she gradually got better and was pretty much back to normal on Sunday. I love the idea of more eco-friendly pet food but my cat is never having this again. I've got a 998 gram bag to re-home if anybody wants it! I'm wondering if it's anything to do with soldier fly larvae? - a friend gave her dog a soldier fly larvae based dog food and he had a very similar reaction to my cat.

Cats love it

I tried Love Bug cat food as a last resort, my cat suddenly started suffering a skin allergy and her fur was literally peeling off her body. She was on steroid injections at the vets every 6 weeks. I traded grocery store cat biscuits for Love Bug biscuits (she still receives meat pouches), and the skin allergy is no longer a problem and I am incredibly grateful! It did take time for her to adjust, she was not keen on the biscuits at first, however, she no longer needs 6 weekly vet appointments and steroid injections. I highly recommend trying Love Bug if your cat suffers skin allergies, but do follow the instructions. My cat suffered a small cough from the biscuits and after a couple of weeks it went away.

Training my cat again to love them mixing with other dry food. But getting there.

My cats really love it but it has gone mouldy twice even though I’ve stored it correctly (no other cat food has done this when stored the same way)
