Portion sizes have reduced significantly since last visit 4 months ago . Looking shabby needs refurbishing, ladies toilets , one not working , one no toilet roll !, there is only x 3 and the 3rd taken .
Disappointing

We went for breakfast at the ladybridge in Tamworth for my mum’s birthday! The team really went the extra mile and made it special for my mum!!! Shout out to Chris and Gail for there hard work!

Went for an evening meal with a friend at Medina Quay, Newport, Isle of Wight last Saturday and was extremely disappointed.
Ordered a medium fillet steak. When it arrived, the only way to describe it would be cindered and not looking anything like a fillet steak, more like sirloin. I returned this and a little while later was presented with another steak, at least cooked correctly, but again definitely NOT a fillet, however I ate this piece of tough, chewy meat as we were going on to a show and did not have time to send this one back and wait for another. When I pointed this out to our waitress, all I got was a shrug of the shoulders and told "these things happen", not so much as an apology, an offer of a reduction in price, as it was not a fillet steak or a free dessert.
Not good customer service!! I know I am not a butcher, but I do know my steaks as it is one of my favourite meals when I go out. Maybe your "microwave" cooks need to be shown what various steaks look like!!

Staff are always cheerful and welcoming. Food is excellent and priced well. Can’t fault this place.

Our family meal at the Brache Beefeater last night was spot on. Service from Sam excellent ,she is very good with the younger guests and us adults also.
Food was tip top and atmosphere was great.
At the end of our meal we were looking for cash to give Sam a tip. Our daughter managed to find £5 but I want to give Sam the extra when we visit next time as she deserved it

We visited the Stag and Rainbow Beefeater yesterday evening (4/07/2025) in West Derby ,Liverpool.I had made a reservation at 20 hrs for 4 people.The waitress who was in charge of reservations wasn’t particularly friendly,no smiles and an unfriendly manner.I asked if there was a quieter table and she gruffly said it’s Friday evening and that was that.Anyway,we sat at the table and another waitress came to take the order.She was very friendly and we were looking forward to the meal.Another waiter came to take the drinks order and he was extremely unfriendly,in his manner.The drinks arrived after about 10 minutes and then we waited for the meal which took nearly 40 minutes!!!!It looked presentable but when I started eating it(A chicken skewer platter )it is was bland and not very hot,it had obviously been heated up in the microwave again!The others also said that their dishes weren’t particularly good.I really wish we had chosen somewhere else but two of the group were staying in the hotel next door so I thought it would be easier for them.I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!

Easy enough to book a table for 6 , should have rang alarm bells really getting a table at such short notice. Air con above the table made it freezing, had to ask to turn it off. Lights were filthy, kept expecting dust to fall in plate. Waited a while for food , when it came , we could see why, overcooked, bland , tiny portions ,£15.99 for a tiny smothered chic ki en , think that must have referred to the way it died rather than any sauce. Dry and overcooked , wasn't even half a fillet. Fish was overcooked and dry and don't know what they fry food in but it tasted greasy. They could have made up the small size portions with large sides, but they didn't , about 10 small chips on plate , sad looking garter of a tomato , limp lettuce . Won't go back. We didn't even stay for desert , which we all wanted , opting to find a cafe with cake elsewhere .

Lovely meal today. Burgers were really nice. Emma our waitress was great, very friendly, informative and professional, a credit to the company.

I often meet family at the beefeater (mill house) in Salfords Redhill for breakfast, the food is always hot and very nice, the manager is extremely welcoming and very attentive, making sure you get seated and served in a timely fashion. I cannot fault him or the restaurant, the food is excellent value for money

My son had arranged a breakfast at our local beefeater (Longbridge, Birmingham)for father's day at 10.45.
After a successful booking, he was told later that they had to cancel his booking because they would have to take the food away because there wasn't going to be much left, well what a joke, why take the booking in the first then.
So in the future me and my family will not be attending this poor run establishment.

Awful Father's Day (2025) experience here, barely any staff, trays of used glasses and plates eveeywhere as no staff available to clear tables. Poor staff that were working were at the end of their tether, our food took 70 minutes, it was dry, overcooked and rubbery. Our extra gravy never turned up, and we didn't bother to stay for desserts. Drink service was slow as well, management is woeful for sure. The environment was dirty, tired and rundown which is a shame given the beautiful location and history of the site. Contacted customer services who didn't bother to offer any form of compensation or goodwill gesture, just a pathetic apology. Very disappointed in the brand and management teams, I won't be returning again. 5 other families left and cancelled their orders whilst we waited for our food, it's a shame to see so many disappointed people.

Visited the Doncaster Lakeside Beefeater restaurant for a Father's Day lunch. Our waiter was a lovely young man called Joshua. He was very nice and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. He answered all of our questions and provided all around lovely service. The food was delicious -(we ordered the 74 Baconeater burger and the Halloumi burger along with a starter of crispy prawns that were cooked to perfection). I can recommend without hesitation this restaurant and if you are lucky enough to get Joshua as your waiter, then you will have amazing service to top it off. Joshua is a true credit to your company!

Took and hour to get the food

Wife and me visited beefeater stag & rainbow in Liverpool we usually use Brewers Fayre which has closed near me . Both outlets Whitbread owned .
We used the daytime menu which has the same menu as each other , I was much surprise that the prices at Beefeater were much dearer for the same meals . But we went ahead and ordered meals @ 7.99 each . I have to say both meals were not worth the cost my steak in particular was dire I asked for medium, it was like a piece of rubber so much so it was bright red it could have been still alive and ready to run off the plate . I decided not to complain as I could not be bothered causing a scene but will not be visiting that outlet again especially as one is being charged extra for the pleasure .

My husband and I had a meal at the Beefeater Wrotham Heath,Kent on 9/6/25. My husband had steak which was cooked well - rare but it had no flavour, very poor quality. I ordered it he sea bass which looked like a dogs dinner! It was nothing at all how it looked on the menu. The fish was all broken up and the waitress said they had trouble getting it off the grill. Bass should be pan cooked. It had a strong charcoal flavour. The salsa Verdi was practically non existent and had obviously been placed with a plate full of peas. I do not recommend eating at this particular Beefeater at all.
