What an absolute scam!
The application took months and the work was accepted. A Surveyor and an Assessor both visited our property on separate occasions, and both confirmed that the application was a success. I was advised that an electrician and roofer will be booked in to carry out the work - Insulation, trickle vents, new thermostats on all radiators and extractor fans.

I was then sent an email to inform us that the application has not passed. To be told by 2 people from MEG that the job was going ahead and then backtracking is a joke. They've wasted my time whilst on maternity leave, sending documents, having conversations over the phone, doctors letters and 2 x 2.5 hr appointments with the surveyor and assessor. Will not be recommending, and don't get your hopes up when they talk the talk....

We have recently had new insulation fitted in loft eaves, also the loft and kitchen roofs fully insulated, and then re plastered, new Worcester boiler, kitchen fan, and ventilation vents fitted to all windows.
From start to finish, cannot fault the lads who did all the work, including the lads who installed the boiler. Communication was great from the office staff, on when the work will begin, and the lads on the job, went through everything with us. Cleaned up after themselves each day, then big clean on the finish day. House is now a lot warmer, and the new energy certificate, backs this up.

A superb service from start to finish with the guys from Making Energy Greener. I cannot recommend these people highly enough. All the lads were really polite, friendly and helpful. The work was carried out swiftly and efficiently. I had cavity wall insulation extracted and refilled by Sam, Jake and Dennis. They also did the loft insulation. Aaron and Kyle fitted a brand new Worcester boiler with new radiator valves. Patrick fitted new vents whilst Sahil (sp) and Lee wired up the new fans. I must not forget the folks in the office especially Callum and Joanne who kept me up to date with all the appintments and any other queries.

My home was fitted with insulation and new boiler ( see boiler review 5*). The scheme and the work has been fantastic. Home is warm, work first class. Only area for improvement is that it is pretty messy. Luckily I moved out whilst the work took place. The guys who did the work were lovely really polite and helpful. The main office people are good but perhaps there could be a bit better communication - then there would be 5+ stars. However, I would highly recommend the scheme - just be prepared for it being pretty messy, but I did have a lot of work done. Very grateful.

I have a large old three storey house, it was expensive to heat. I was contacted by Making Energy Greener and was informed that I was eligible for free government installation work.
They carried out a survey and shorty after began work. The quality of the work was excellent, it has subsequently made a very noticeable difference. I have no hesitation in recommending them as I was overall very pleased.

I was contacted by Making Energy Greener through the government energy improvement scheme. It was the first time I had heard of them and although the initial application process took some time the rest of the process went quickly and smoothly. Once the paperwork was in place, we had an assessment within a week and the guys were on site to install one week later. We had an entire gas boiler central heating system installed from scratch in 2 days. They worked so hard and I have nothing but praise for the quality of the work done. Through the government scheme our installation didn't cost us a penny and they ran the pipework exactly where I asked. I really can't thank you enough and if I could give you 6 stars I would.

Turned up on time for every appointment, completed the jobs efficiently and faster than expected to a very high standard, all of the lads were polite and friendly. Big thanks to Aiden and his team who insulated the loft space, Patrick who installed my ventilation and Aaron, Kyle and Brett who did the full central heating system install in unbelievable time, no mess, no fuss. Great lads all round. 10/10

Craig’s team installed a new boiler at my elderly dad’s house under the ECO4 scheme. The work also included replacing all the central heating pipework and radiators. Disruption was minimised by multiple teams working on the different elements concurrently. We were really impressed with the quality of the work and the care taken to reassure my dad that it would be completed quickly. With the improved insulation and heating controls we are now able to keep the house warm. The teams cleaned everything up before they left and could not have done more to get the job done quickly and efficiently. There will always be disruption however we genuinely couldn’t fault how the central heating work was delivered.

Wonderful job from start to finish. The package included a Worcestor Bosch boiler,insulation,air vents and extractor fans. The work was carried out by a professional experienced team with Craig the CEO at the helm. Craig was very easy to contact and very pleasant and reassuring. The men arrived daily having advised their arrival time in advance. They carefully covered over furniture and put down floor and carpet protector. I found them to be hard working and trustworthy and could be left alone to get on with the job in hand. My home was respected and the work carried out to a high standard. Would definitely recommend. Well done all of you. Oh, and just to say the snow remained on the roof this winter proving that the insulation is working well and a plus is the lower cost in heating the rooms. Go for it, after all there's nothing to lose.

At first I was very sceptical when MEG told me that they could install central heating in my flat for free and do it in one day! However they proved me very wrong. The team that came to do the installation were on time, courteous and very professional and answered any of my questions without an issue. They completed the work on time and with the minimum of disruption, you could hardly tell they had been here, apart from me having a lovely warm flat. I can't recommend this company highly enough. We recently had a new heat pump and solar system fitted including new radiators etc., at the end of October into November. The team was with us for a couple of weeks as we have an old property which took a little more work than most. We were very pleased with the team. They were very efficient, hard working and extremely helpful throughout the job. They explained each step of the job as they went and answered any queries we had.
Having a new installation on this scale whilst you are in the property could have been very invasive but every care was taken to make us feel comfortable. We are very pleased with the end result giving us a warm cosy home and very happy to recommend Making Energy Greener.

I GOT THIS THROUGH THE ECO GRANTS & YES IT WAS FOR FREE. EVERYTHING FROM THE SOLAR PANELS TO AIR SOURCE PUMP etc IS 100% URS.

MEG installed a new boiler today at my parents property, a god send after they had been without heating for some time. My parents said that engineer Aaron was a superstar, he should have a bonus! Bith engineers were friendly, very knowledgeable, patient when explaining the process to my parents and the job site was kept very tidy, the engineers explained everything in detail and nothing was too much trouble, we would definitely recommend, excellent customer service and a excellent install. The guys worked very hard from beginning to the end of their job for us! They were also very tidy and took a long time clearing up any mess that the job made. We had the whole bungalow insulated from the cold and it is a very warm home now thank goodness! The work was carried out by this company without any cost to us at all! My memory for dates is not good but as I recall it was finished before the end of August 2023!

Making Energy Greener have carried out an extensive upgrade to our heating and energy system. They removed our old and inefficient oil boiler and replaced it with air source heat pumps and installed new radiators, solar panels and insulation and all the electrics and other infrastructure. The schedule of works was planned meticulously and to the highest of standards. Craig assisted us in every way possible including the eco flex funding grant application which he successfully delivered. The property is now warmer and greener than it has ever been. I would most definitely recommend Making Energy Greener to anyone thinking of upgrading their heating and energy systems. The Company is efficient, well organised, reliable and always ready to respond to your needs. The staff are friendly, informative and very hard working. Thank you to all of you.

We had our back boiler converted to a whole new system for free, the work was completed quickly and to a high standard with no issues. All staff were professional and easy to contact at every stage of the process. 100% recommend.
