My fare evasion case with Chiltern Railways was entirely brought about by my own stupidity and thoughtlessness. I had 2 years worth of fare-evaded tickets and I was petrified how my life was going to be affected by a criminal record because of this, something that hadn't sunk in until after I was caught one day without a valid ticket.
I contacted Samir the day after I was caught, during my initial consultation with him, he reassured me he could get the criminal conviction dropped, with only a settlement to pay.
After my expected prosecution letter came through 4 months later (Chiltern have a huge case backlog so the expected time to receive a letter is 3-6 months), Samir was able to get the case settled in 3 days, as planned, with the criminal conviction dropped and me paying Chiltern the money back that I owed + admin fees on their end - a very fair deal.
I'm relieved with the result Samir was able to give me and can now continue with my life with this all behind me, having fully learnt my lesson.

Although I had no intention of evading a fair, the strict liability offence that TFL were alleging still carries a criminal sanction and for me, professionally, that was potentially a real issue. If you’re reading this you’re probably looking for the best lawyer after getting caught by TFL agents for fare evasion or tailgating. You didn’t know that you could face prosecution and a criminal record, you probably thought that the worst thing that could happen is paying a fine but after receiving a letter from TFL or reading forums you realized that it was way more serious than you thought and you’re probably panicking thinking about your future and the consequences that it could have.

You’re probably reading all the reviews and you’re conflicted because most of them are really good and some of them are quite bad, depicting Samir as arrogant, only looking for your money etc…

I was in the exact same situation, and I still decided to go forward with Samir. Does he come across as arrogant? I would say so. Was he rude to me? I will not lie, he was sometimes. Is he looking for your money? I mean yes, it’s his job at the end of the day, not his hobby. But more importantly, is he a great lawyer who helped me avoid prosecution with chances of success very low? Absolutely.

You need to understand that Samir is not a therapist. I understand that in your situation you’re probably looking for someone who is going to reassure you and tell you that everything will be okay but that is not his job. His job is not to make you feel good, reassure you or whatsoever. His job is to win your case and that is what he did when my chances of avoiding prosecution were really low. He is what we expect from a lawyer: someone who knows what he’s talking about, professional and simply good.

Samir is a really good lawyer who is very familiar with this kind of issue. I’d recommend him to anyone who is facing a prosecution or a potential prosecution with TFL. Just make sure to give him all the details that could help your case, prepare yourself for the meeting with him, and he’ll do everything he can to win your case/avoid prosecution.

Highly recommend Samir for TFL fare evasion cases. During the initial call, Samir was very honest and stated I had a 45% chance of settling outside of court due to the card being high value (60+ card) and the frequent use of it. The outcome was even better than I could imagine, it was settled with a warning. Samir is extremely knowledgeable with these cases and is fairly priced in comparison to other places.

Samir was great and helped me with a fare evasion case for TfL. We did everything step by step, which helped in not making the process overwhelming. (Telephone consult first, letter, psych assessment in my case, and the final letter). Samir said there would be a 50% chance that TfL would withdraw my case, but with Samirs help and expertise, my case has been withdrawn!

Although the process is expensive, I do feel the outcome was only possible by getting a solicitor, especially Samir.
