Disappointing Experience with MarketerHire – Lack of Accountability and Poor Service
This is our second disappointing experience with MarketerHire, and unfortunately, the issues we encountered this time were far worse. We hired Nour for SEO and keyword research, and from the outset, there were consistent problems with missed deadlines and substandard work. One of our internal team members had to step in and spend over 20 hours correcting the errors, particularly for critical projects for long standing high touch clients.
Despite raising these concerns multiple times, there was no improvement in the work quality or adherence to deadlines. Our point of contact, Jade, showed no accountability for the ongoing issues, and we were offered no solutions or compensation for the significant time and resources we had to spend fixing the work ourselves. Unlike our first experience, where MarketerHire at least acknowledged the problems and offered a refund, this time we received no such resolution.
MarketerHire claims to provide access to top-tier marketing talent, but in our experience, that has not been the case. The lack of ownership, combined with the high fees they charge—well above what most agencies would—makes it difficult to justify continuing to work with them.
We had hoped for a professional and efficient collaboration, but unfortunately, this has been a frustrating and costly experience. We do not recommend MarketerHire, as there are more reliable options available, either by hiring in-house or sourcing freelancers directly.

Amazing to have a pool of freelancers at your finger tips, vetted and ready to go. The team had fantastic communication and were very flexible.
If month-by-month contracts were available or fixed-term contracts then this would have been a five star review.

The easiest way to find efficient digital marketers
I work for a rather large company in which working with freelancers is not a habit, we usually go for agencies for many reasons, including that it feels reassuring. MarketerHire bypassed all the doubts we had with regards to working with freelancers rather than an agency: level of service, finding the right freelancer in the multitude of freelancers while not being digital marketing professionals, invoicing process, etc...
> As someone who's not an expert in digital marketing, I found their marketers selection process reassuring - they only work with marketers who have a proven track records, and they regularly ask customers for feedback regarding the marketers they're working with to make sure they only work with the best.
> They're fast: they found a marketer that would be a good match for us in a matter of days and their first suggestion ended up being the marketer we're now working with.
> We're super happy with the marketer they found - she's efficient, she made the transition from our previous paid social/search campaigns provider smooth, communication is easy, no working hours issues...
> They don't push too hard to get us to hire more marketers.

MH is fast and they have talent!
These guys are great at assessing a marketing need and accelerating your way to a solution. Within 5-7 business days we inquired, interviewed, and hired a fractional CMO who's helped us with implementing our marketing strategy for 18 months since.

Unprofessional and a con - avoid at all costs!
Awful experience from start to end. They matched us with a marketer who was not qualified so just wasted our time and money. Markethire were billing us without our consent and without checking if any work was even completed by the marketer.
After complaining they stated they have nothing to do with the marketer!
This 'firm' are to be avoided at all costs.

We've aimed to streamline billing processes with you since December 2022. In February 2023, we addressed concerns by offering a $1,000 credit and transitioning to an hourly model. Despite clear communication in our terms, challenges with the monthly minimum charge persisted upon the July 2023 restart.
Given ongoing challenges and your refund request, we've decided to conclude our partnership. We appreciate our collaboration, regret any misalignment with expectations, and remain open to constructive dialogue.

I was highly disappointed with my experience with Market Hire. Their services left much to be desired. The service delivery was ended abruptly, and it felt like they didn't take the time to understand our specific organisational needs.
Furthermore, Market Hire failed to add any significant value to the relationship with the talent they provided. This was a major letdown, as we were looking for a reliable and efficient partner to assist us in finding suitable talent for our needs.
What frustrated me the most were their ongoing and, frankly, abusive billing practices. I
We were happy with our talent but now were given a 20K buy our fee!!!
In conclusion, I would strongly advise others in Australia to look elsewhere for their talent recruitment needs. Market Hire fell far short of our expectations and left us with a negative experience that we won't soon forget.
