Maybe my experience was a fluke but I could not in good conscious recommend this service to anyone. As a small business that needed marketing support, this seemed like a really great option. The marketer I was paired with seemed very knowledgeable and they were helpful when I was able to get ahold of them. The marketer did not communicate with me (or respond to communication) consistently or in a timely fashion and I spent the majority of the past month/month and a half feeling completely in the dark about what my marketer was working on and what I was being invoiced for. I raised this issue a few times to my account manager and some steps were taken - to no avail. After another 2-week stretch of missed deliverables and not knowing what I was getting invoiced for, I reached out to terminate my work or possibly switch marketers. I'm still getting billed by the original marketer despite having no outstanding work that I'm aware of. I've repeatedly asked to see a breakdown of how the hours have been spent, which I have not been provided with. The marketer consistently went over the hours we have agreed upon for the month (not great for someone operating on a budget), and I can't figure out how the hours are even being spent which makes me feel as though I'm being taken advantage of. The account managers have been kind and respectful, and I was offered a credit to use with another marketer. I appreciate the gesture, but I'd rather know how the hours were being spent and assurance that my invoices haven't been over-inflated. The fact that I'm still being invoiced after 1) I was assured my billing was paused while they investigated and 2) for "work" 3 weeks after I signed off on the one deliverable we had discussed for the month blows my mind. I don't trust that this experience won't be repeated. A true waste of a few thousand dollars which as a small business hit hard.

Vetting process completely broken. Don’t know what their criteria is or if they’re just biased towards people with work experience in corporate setups.

They don't actually vet the marketers thoroughly enough. I really gave them a try more than a few times but they matched me either with people that completely inflated their hours and expertise or dropped me for a client that would pay more. I try not to write bad reviews for companies but i really had a terrible experience, not just with the matches but how the account managers handled everything. The hassle of dealing with them was more work than doing my own research and ultimately paying less for better quality candidates. i got better results even on upwork.

MarketerHire is a great platform for anyone in the freelance space.

I have been on the platform for about a year and first off, they ask you to take $60 an hour or they can’t match you with any offers. Now, I said sure let’s try. The only offers they can find you are for like 1 hour a week and clients have no idea what they need. Even if you ask to set your hourly rate above $100, they can still send you offers around $80. That’s absolutely ridiculous. And when you do respond to offers, you get an automatic email after 5 days saying that you haven’t been selected. No words from the project manager. You actually don’t hear from PMs ever. They barely respond to emails.
They also have an agency pool but you will only get offers if you are at least available 30 hours to 40 hours a week. I am sorry but being a freelancer actually means that we have other projects and can’t just take 1 client FT.
Don’t waste your time.

Complete waste of time and money. This company is claims to have the best marketers but it's nonsense. You'd be better off hiring in house or sourcing your own freelancers separately as there is zero accountability on the company and yet they are charging far more than an agency would do in fees. Don't bother

Marketerhire is really proactive in sending work over when clients match your skill set.

The variety of clients keeps things interesting. I’m only 4 weeks into my journey with marketer hire but not having to win clients and handle invoicing makes life easier.

Horrible marketers. Wasted my entire Q2, lied and stole from my company. Managers strung me along and are now actively not responding to me. Still getting billed even though I fired them months ago. Hours and hours of time dealing with their mistakes. 50-150k lost due to their negligence and lies.
