Item never shipped

Item never shipped, and the email customer support agent is an AI bot that provides false information that doesn't match the website FAQs. When I asked to speak to a human, it never connected me with anyone and I had to follow up multiple times. 3 weeks after I placed my order, it still hadn't shipped out. A human finally got back to me after I called, and said the item still hadn't shipped. Told them to cancel it.

Poor customer service

We ordered a queen loft bed with an additional queen bed. The color options are limited, however, out of the 3 available, we chose chestnut based on the picture available on the website. The day the furniture arrived, it was ORANGE. We had several people come in to look at the furniture to evaluate it as we wanted to be sure we were seeing ORANGE. They all confirmed. When we spoke with customer service that we would like yo exchange the furniture for white, they wanted to charge $300 dollars for return shipping. This is very expensive furniture. I bought it with the understanding that this company was most concerned about quality and customer service. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I already spent a lot of money on a queen loft and another queen bed. I cannot justify spending more money on return shipping when the item is misrepresented on the online website.

bad quality, missing parts, expensive!

Had missing parts, missing parts were shipped, then again missing parts in that shipment. Forget the missing parts i dont care but for $1,000 i was hoping top quality for the high full loft bed.. unfortunately it was not, it wobbles a bit i regret not reading the reviews and sadly disappointed i thought more expensive = better, and it does not. i wish i had bought a metal loft and just put a small cloth on the screws so it doesn't squeak. i thought this would be nice solid firm wood but its not, you can easily screw in screws with a hand screwdriver, its very soft cheap wood. please look elsewhere !

Major Decline in Quality and Service

We ordered the full size uber loft bed. This was our second time buying from MaxTrix and have loved the twin bunk we purchased 4 years ago. Unfortunately every aspect of our experience with this company was a disappointment this round. First, they no longer offer white glove delivery. Despite multiple attempts to schedule delivery for a time we’d be available, we were told deliveries happened one day per week and we’d get our window the night prior. They do not allow waiver of signature. After changing travel plans and taking off work to accommodate their 4 hour delivery window, the bed was delivered outside the window! They also now outsource assembly to Angi. Our Angi-matched service provider canceled with less than 30 minutes’ notice and automatically rescheduled us despite attempts to cancel service. It took 2 hours to get that addressed. Once the bed was assembled, the quality is poor. It shakes and wobbles even with the wall mounts attached. The mattress (the only full mattress they sell) was too large for the bed. This experience was so bad that we’re going to just trash the bed and start over with a more reliable, high quality vendor like pottery barn or restoration hardware. We’re disappointed because this company used to make quality products and have top notch customer service. Not anymore.

RUN FOR THE HILLS FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!

I tried to be patient with this company and give them a chance to make things right. Unfortunately, 2 weeks after receiving the bed that was supposed to be the top bunk to our current twin Maxtrix bed, we are still left with missing and damaged parts and no response from the company. Since the company was slow to respond about the initial missing parts, I went ahead and ordered them from their website myself, paid for shipping a second time and waited over a week for them to arrive only to find 2 rock locks in the box rather than the 4 I ordered! That's right, the replacement parts for the missing parts were also missing parts. Unbelievable. Not even a response yet regarding the DAMAGED UNUSABLE SIDE RAIL for the top bunk! This is truly the worst company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

The worse place ever

The worse thing I could ever do is order a sofa from this company I paid 850 pound for my sofa and 1 mouth later the thing is sinking to the floor the buttons have fell of it looks amazing to look at but the quality is absolutely terrible I try contacting the people from this company they read my message don’t reply back I keep sending messages and no reply I promise u your regret it so much ordering anything from this place I was so upset saved up for the sofa over 4 mouths and got it and now I have to though it away i have only had it 6 mouths now and when u sit on it feels like it’s gonna break worse thing I ever did now I’m saving for a new sofa even though I brought this one less the 6 mouths ago this company needs reporting

Gigantic waste of money!!

Spent $4000 on a bedroom set that took 3 months to arrive - broken, mismatched and CHEAP quality. I am so mad at myself for trusting this company. It is not solid wood - it is cheap wood veneer. Do yourself a favor and go into a real furniture store. I am so disappointed!! *Dreading the run-around to return it.

I received defective chair (back of…

I received defective chair (back of chair does not attach) and desk (under desk clearance so low desk is unusable) from MaxTrix Kids. I paid close to $700 for both of these items. They are frauds, especially Mia in customer service. They refuse to remedy the situation. They will not let me speak to a supervisor and are requesting photos of defective products after they have already been disassembled and repackaged, and despite the fact they have no policy for this regarding defective merchandise. It seems like they purposely send out defective merchandise so that they can charge you a shipping and restocking fee and then turn around and ship that same defective merchandise to someone else. They require you to send items back using their carrier but will not issue a shipping label. I have disputed this with PayPal several times and they are just as bad, with ignoring the actual details of the dispute and letting these frauds get away with keeping my money and sending out defective product. They should be investigated by the FTC for fraud. I do not intend to let them keep my money and will continue to fight this, including legally and via raising awareness using as many platforms as possible.

Bad customer service

Bad customer service. Received damaged bed and they have not fully remedied situation. They are completely unapologetic and unresponsive. If you receive a damaged bed they will not remedy situation They do not stand by their products.

Don't be fooled!

Customer service communication is horrible. You email them to try and communicate with them but they take days to respond. The dresser from our huge order was damaged during delivery and it took them a week to respond to my email (which included pictures of the damage) and all they offered was a credit to keep the damaged furniture "as is". It took them 3 months to deliver the furniture. We had no idea when the furniture shipped because we didn't receive any communication from them. Not sure what is going on with this company. It looks like a US company out of North Carolina, but maybe their management is suffering or they need a new system. Their website has great reviews, but they approve any reviews before they get published. I just left them a very poor review explaining everything. I highly doubt they will allow that review to be published on the website. So I guess you can say they are falsifying their high ratings. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. It will save you from having to deal with them.

Broken products even after replacements sent

We were excited about this product when we ordered a bunk bed for our 4 year old, but after waiting 6 weeks for it to arrive, 4 of the pieces were severely damaged. Getting in touch with their customer service is very challenging, and getting to speak with someone directly is impossible as they also don't call you back when you leave a message. I finally got in touch with someone on their electronic customer service system and described in detail the issues, provided photos and product #s. I was assured that they would send replacement parts (after being offered a discount to just take the item despite it being physically unsafe/cracked beyond use). I waited another 3 weeks after arguing to get them to ship the replacement parts expedited only to receive the wrong parts. This company is not worth the money, with terrible customer service and very low quality products. Please don't subject yourselves to this brand.

I would not buy from this company

I would not buy from this company! I placed an order on October 23 and we have been getting the runaround as far as why we have not received it. They can’t even produce a tracking # for us. They claimed the reason we have not received our $8,000 order (3 beds and mattresses) is because one mattress out of 3 is on back order. Well …why not send what you do have so we are not waiting on everything else for over 3 months. Or offer us a refund for the one item so we can buy something else. This is ridiculous. I would never buy from this brand nor recommend anyone to buy Maxtrix! Waiting on them to issue a refund at this point and being ghosted
