Update: Andy at McConks really sorted us out. All faith restored. After exhausting all repair and replacement battery options, Andy managed to find a new unit and send.
Long saga with good outcome - Thanks Andy.

Original review (2*): Ghosted by customer services after breakage in warranty

We bought a McConks fly ’Trotter’ skate wheel in November 2024 and by July 2025 the battery just completely stopped charging.

We have tried to reach out to McConks and the manufacturer and had some responses from Andy (McConks) in October 2025 and then confirmation that the manufacturer was no longer making them.

Andy kindly said McConks would source a replacement battery in November 2025 and get it back to repair but the company has stopped responding to all emails since - I'm writing this in the hopes they see this because we have no idea how to get in touch (have tried email, facebook messenger, instagram etc and phone number doesn't work).

I have heard really good things about them as a company so am really hoping to hear back!

They are selling poor quality products, they do not have any return policy clearly visible on the site, so the only option is to mail them. Then they question your motives for returning the poor quality products claiming "that's how they perform"!!!
later edit: they accepted the return, and seem reasonable but the return policy and the site general quality still needs a lot of work
