My experience was excellent
My experience was excellent! They have taken care of me , the hospital was clean and luxurious and same as the hotel ! If I ever would have to choose surgery I would go for them again! The surgeon, the nurses , the driver , the communication hosts and WhatsApp group were perfect and very supportive at all times !

Overall amazing experience with Medaway…
Overall amazing experience with Medaway for nose rhinoplasty. no doubt i was nervous, however put at ease by the staff. Everything was very organised including transport, hotel and also hospital. Staff were kind and helpful. Dr Akin conducted my nose rhinoplasty, and I love my new nose!! Thank you everyone at medaway, for a lovely experience.

Absolutely appalling-avoid like the plague
Absolutely appalling.
Once they have your money, any care goes out the window.
My breast became infected, I told them it was leaking and they responded 2 days later asking if I wanted them to speak with the doctor. The infection got worse and I had to have the implant removed in the uk.
They offered to get the implant removed and a new one fitted 2 months later but wanted to charge me everything other than for the doctor’s time.
I now have to pay for a new implant again, no compensation given, they just told me I knew the risks!
They have informed me that I will need to pay for the operating theatre and medication, so what they said in their response is nor correct.
They have also said that they responded straight away when I contacted them, again, this isn't correct and I have written evidence of this as I kept each message. I understand that there can be complications in but waiting days for a response is not acceptable

Tummytuck liposuction
Read a few bad reviews about the hospital and surgeons but when i got there it was not bad, so i don't know why people are leaving bad reviews also if you do not follow surgeons instructions you may occur problems.
I had a swift operation no complications although this is also a possibility i am 4 weeks after op and i am recovering quite quickly, first few days of op was painful but it started easing off. I can walk, drive after 2 weeks op but the sleeping in L shape I don't like but i have to, Dr Selami was brilliant but please take extra money with you as anything can happen as my op was delayed due to other health checks that were nessercary and flights got cancelled was not fit to fly etc. Overall brilliant experience Tummytuck liposuction is a scary op i did not look much into it as it would put me off i do get a bit of back pain due to walking a bit crouched over other than that my scar has turned darker showing signs of healing. I did go to Doctors in UK as i needed pain killers but before they gave me them they said they wanted to check my tummytuck which was a bit strange just incase there was a infection infact they was surprised and said it was a clean job done and no signs of infection! So this just goes to show not that i got a second opinion i just needed pain killers and doctors in UK were eager to check my tummytuck. I think NHS should give UK citizens an option for tummytuck procesure on NHS or even a budgeted value for surgery! Medaway is great if i was you book in with Dr Selami, all transportations were on point excellent! Seroma can occur with anyone that's not surgeons fault and you must have lymphatic massages!
Also have been having lymphatic massages by a qualified UK nurse and even she said wow your surgeon did a brilliant job, she said she's had women in who have had tummytucks done in the UK and clients have faced issues and not proper surgery done!

Strong warning
When I went to MediWay, it was one of the most distressing experiences of my life.
The night staff repeatedly ignored me, and I was left for hours without basic care no water, no pain relief, no check-ins. I had to beg multiple times just to be seen or spoken to. And even then, the answer was often: “We can’t help.”
As a public figure, I tend to remain calm and composed in most situations. But it was only when one nurse found out who I was that she began treating me with decency —and even then, I had to offer her a free service from my own business in exchange for basic compassion and help with pain management. I was that desperate.
I could barely walk after surgery, and yet the staff failed to bring water, clear food trays, or check on patients who clearly couldn’t move on their own.
What shocked me most: the nurses laughed loudly at 3am every night, waking up vulnerable women recovering from invasive procedures. This was not a one-off it was nightly, and deeply unsettling. If this happened in the UK, I’m certain it would be grounds for legal action.
The clinic may look polished online, but the care is not there. The energy is careless, transactional, and unsafe for anyone who values dignity or emotional support after surgery.
Please do not go.
There are better, safer, more respectful options especially if you’re travelling from abroad.
If you’re reading this and looking for a recommendation, I suggest asking ChatGPT for trusted, reputable clinics that offer true care not just surgery.

I just came back from Istanbul I was using Medaway team for my breast reduction journey, honestly I'm so happy with the results I got , the conversation over WhatsApp and consultation with my surgeon went spot on . Never had a problem with them
I can highly recommend Medaway and I be back ( one day )

My surgeon was amazing , can’t fault him at all. Wasn’t happy with the aftercare , the pain relief was not strong at all. I have had surgery before in other countries before (Thailand) and was given strong pain killers like morphine but not at this place, the nurses didn’t even flush the IVF out. I also wasn’t happy with the change of hospital when I arrived. I did research and made my decision on the hospital told, but when I arrived and it was completely different. It wasn’t an enjoyable experience like previous surgeries and for that reason I wouldn’t use them again.

Beyond traumatic experience i still suffer the flashbacks now the pain i endured the needles going all over in my head to numb my head all of that pain only for them to put barely any implants in my hair i explained and explained what i need where i dont have hair they gave me no aftercare their behaviour was disgusting with me & now after a year on my hair is not a single strand more its exactly how it was if not worse than before they literally waited for me to get back to UK so they can abandon me later and told me to wait a year for the results knowing full well after a year me arguing it would be harder as the time has gone past i have video's i had FUE i paid all that money i went to turkey paid my flights went through the worst pain i could ever go through and still nothing came of it and still everywhere they injected me is painful and i have ended up with nerve damage please please please i beg you avoid this place!!!

I accidentally overpaid by £500 (forgot I already paid the deposit) and after them saying they’ll give it me back they never did. I asked them (WhatsApp) a million times. This was months ago! Basically, don’t over pay them or you’ll never see it again.

My personal experience
The surgeon and coordinators that spoke English were very helpful and sympathetic to my needs. The nurses who didn’t speak English were very insistent on me signing forms without reading them first- and not very helpful explaining what was happening. My surgeon Dr Salami was excellent and did a very good job. The masseuse recommended was also very effective and professional. I feel that it helps to be fit before you attempt this surgery - and if any health issues present before not to consider liposuction or a tummy tuck. I would recommend Medway but only if you are fit and agile previously.

Overall a great experience
I went with Medaway for a revision rhinoplasty and breast lift and augmentation.
We followed the clear instructions about where to go to meet the airport pickup service and were taken right to the hospital. The hospital was really clean and the private rooms were brilliant, with a pull out bed for my companion to stay in whilst I had my surgery. The food was good and all included for the time we spent at the hospital, for the both of us.
The communication with the surgeon was good and clear and I am happy with the outcomes of my surgery and the communication around it. Dr Taygun was excellent and fantastic at what he does. The aftercare and advice provided both in person at the hotel and via WhatsApp from the nursing team was excellent.
We extended our stay at another hotel close to the airport and the beach and, as this was still within the boundaries of Istanbul, medaway picked us up from this new location for our return to the airport. Brilliant driving throughout the whole experience.
The only things I have to say that are slightly less positive are that the response time from staff at the hospital was a little slow at times, and I was left with empty drips connected to my IV for long stretches which impacted the ease at which I could get out of bed and use the bathroom. A nurse also used her phone and carried out a full conversation on speaker whilst removing my drains and applying dressings, which didn’t feel like she was prioritising my comfort or worries.
Other than that, the whole experience was great, and I would use Medaway again and recommend them to anyone.

From start to finish
From start to finish, I felt completely looked after during my abdominoplasty, fleur-de-lis tummy tuck, and liposuction. The team did exactly what they promised – met me at the airport, guided me through pre-surgery checks and consultation, carried out the surgery with care, managed my pain, checked on me regularly afterwards, and made sure my hotel stay included daily nurse visits. Even my journey back to the airport was arranged for me, which made everything stress-free.
The only thing I’d suggest is improving hospital hygiene by cleaning rooms and bedding at least once a day, like I’m used to with the NHS.
That aside, the care, kindness, and organisation were exceptional. I’m so grateful for the results, my new shape exceeds the expectations i had, and the support I received – I would happily recommend them to anyone considering these procedures.

Unprofessional & fraudulent
**UPDATE** 2 months after my initial complaint and atill no refund. I have not had a response to any of my numerous messages and emails following the last email in mid september where Medaway confirmed "the refund will be processed". I have had to escalate the complaint to the ministry of health and Cimer in turkey to take action!!! Absolutely shocking!!
Extremely worrying and disappointing treatment by Medaway!
After arriving in Turkey and making the final payment ahead of my surgery I was informed that the Medaway coordinator had not made the relevant arrangements for my operations despite several forms of correspondence confirming the procedure, date and time.
They then attempted to coerce me into choosing a different operation or come back to Turkey another time. As i had travelled there specifically for my chosen surgery I asked for a refund. After over 1 hour of back and forth they agreed to a refund, but said thay I would no longer be allowed to stay in the hotel booked and that they would cancel all my transfers.. I was now stuck in a unfamiliar country with nowhere to stay, no operation and was completely out of pocket. Their response was "there's nothing I can do" and left us there in the hospital Foyer.
2 weeks later Medaway have not responded to my emails or messages. They have not offered any apologies or compensation for the serious neglect from their end, and No refund has been reveived.
I have no words for the total shock this has left me with and the absolutely disgusting attitude from Medaway staff.

Terrible dentist messed up my teeth and they avoided me for one year after i complained noone gets back to me they get months to get back just to avoid helping you once they take you money they are done with you they wont fix their mistakes!

The transfers are quick and friendly . Good skills drivers. Clinic staff are very professional and very knowledgeable, I do trust the process as I can see top priority is safety and quality when it comes to dental services. Overall I had no pain whatsoever. Lorena .
Great surgeon
Great surgeon. Could pay more attention to the aftercare once you get back to the hotel. Cancelling my surgery so having it a day late & then travelling home only a few hours after having my drains removed. I was such a mess on the flight. And had no fit to fly letter.
Fantastic results and great company!
Personally, my experience has been fantastic from start to finish. I have been with Medaway twice (July 2024 for a 360 body lift, lipo and umbilical hernia removal & April 2025 for breast implants replacement and uplift). I've had the same surgeon twice and I couldn't be happier with my results! The staff are all amazing and very welcoming 🥰 I can't wait to go back for more surgery 🙌

Medaway was recommended to me by my brother who had a rhinoplasty and hair transplant earlier this year. My mind is blown by the logistics that have gone into getting me my cosmetic procedure (rhinoplasty & upper blethoroplasty). I'm honestly blown away by how friendly, professional and thorough everything was.
The drivers are fantastic, the patient coordinators are amazing, the nurses and surgeon- incredible! The hotel is clean and bright with passionate staff, and the hospital is amazing - everyone is super friendly!
Do not worry about the language barrier, most people speak English (as well as many other languages) and if they don't they use a translation tool which works very well.
Things to consider ahead of your surgery (rhinoplasty):
You can't wear glasses for 3 months post surgery, this is because the nose bridge of your specs will affect your nose shape. Get yourself some contact lenses ahead of time!
Double surgery isn't for the weak! I had an upper blethoroplasty as well and my face was terribly swollen. I ended up having to take an extra week off work as I couldn't see. I also couldn't drive my car home from the airport, so bear this in mind when you're planning everything!
Take a companion! I went with my boyfriend and he was able to pop to the shops for me to get extra ice packs and pineapple juice (to reduce the swelling). There was another lady who had the same procedures as me, but she came alone; luckily my bf was more than happy to get her things from the shops as well, but it would have been quite difficult to get around alone with limited vision. Obviously it's different for different surgeries.
Overall I felt seen and heard by everyone, especially my surgeon and I was visited daily post-op at the hotel by a wonderful nurse. I felt safe and comfortable and highly recommend Medaway! The hotel even brought me a little birthday cake!
I've had surgery in the UK in the past and the service was nowhere near as professional. I will be coming back for more surgeries....I just need to heal from this one first! ;-)

If you’re considering MedAway Clinic for dental work, please read this before you book.
My journey with MedAway started in January 2024, when I flew to Turkey to get two implants. I was told to return in May 2024 after healing, to have the crowns placed. That part went as expected.
However, in February 2025, one of the crowns fell off. I contacted the clinic, and they told me I could return to Turkey and they would fix it free of charge. Based on their advice, I arranged time off work and booked flights, expecting the issue to be resolved in 4 days, as they instructed.
From the beginning of the return trip, the process was chaotic and disorganised:
• I informed them of my flight and schedule well in advance, including the return flight time.
• Upon arrival, I was quickly booked in for an initial visit—but that’s where the efficiency ended.
• On the day of my return flight, they told me to come in around lunchtime for the final procedure.
• I waited from 12:00 until 17:00, constantly messaging and calling them, with no real updates—just empty promises that I would still make my flight.
At 17:00, a dentist finally saw me and revealed that the implant was faulty. They made me stay even longer just to screw a metal part back in place. By that time, I had already missed my flight.
They offered no meaningful apology, no compensation, no urgency—and worst of all, they had the audacity to tell me to come back another time to finish the treatment, and to “smile” because “no one can see the missing tooth.”
That’s the level of care and professionalism you’re dealing with.
This experience caused me undue stress, time off work, and the financial burden of a missed flight, all because they were negligent and unorganised. It’s clear that once they get your money, patient care is no longer a priority.
If this is how they treat someone with just one missing crown, I can’t even imagine the disaster it could be for patients getting full veneers or major procedures.
Avoid MedAway Clinic at all costs. Don’t be fooled by their promises or polished social media. Your time, health, and money deserve better.
