While my dog thrives on Maev food - the issue is the lack of customer support and ongoing delivery issues. I have been a customer of Maev for years - due to the quality of their food. However every other month there is a new issue with delivery and when you ask for help it is delayed and usually not helpful

The food may be high quality, but unfortunately my dog refused to eat it even after 10 days of trying. I understand the no-return policy, but I was disappointed that there was no flexibility or alternative solution for unopened bags. I wish the company offered a satisfaction guarantee for first-time customers.

Unreliable fulfillment, no accountability from leadership, and a sick dog.
I was a Maev subscriber for several months feeding my 100 lb, 9.5 year old Great Dane Gilda. The fulfillment was never reliable. Wrong dates, unexplained delays, and zero proactive communication when shipments were late. Every time a shipment was delayed, I had to bridge her diet with other food, which caused repeated bouts of GI distress in a senior large breed dog.
The final straw was an order confirmed on May 18th that sat unfulfilled for over a week with no communication. When I followed up repeatedly, I was told it had shipped. It had not. The FedEx label was created only after I escalated again, and the order did not arrive until June 2nd.
Customer support, specifically Samantha, was genuinely kind and responsive throughout. The failure was entirely at the leadership level. When escalated to management, the response was a $100 credit. That was their answer for a senior dog suffering repeated diet disruptions due to their own fulfillment failures.
I have since canceled my subscription, disputed the charge, and transitioned to another provider. I filed complaints with both the Texas and Colorado Attorneys General.
The food itself is good. The company behind it is not ready to be trusted with your dog’s health.

We have been using Maev for the last three years and can’t say enough good things. We have only ever had one mishap in a shipping delay (this happened recently) and they immediately made it right and sent us a replacement. Can’t say enough great things about this company and the customer experience provided.

Customer service rep was so kind, helpful, and took care of so many things for me on our call; updated me on a delayed food shipment + gave reasoning, pushed out my next order bc it would be too close to the delayed order, helped me cancel a duplicate subscription that no other rep has been able to help me cancel so I've just been delaying the shipment inevitably, and then consolidated the treats we love with our subscription.

My dog got super sick right away, not only diarrhea, but blood in poop, and she was vomiting. I had to get prescription food and take her to the vet so she would get better. They wouldn’t give me a refund on the bag on top of it.

The customer service is consistently excellent. So far in my few months of interactions with this company, I have been very impressed.

I have a German Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog who both LOVE Maev. I want to feed raw and tried other companies that required thawing and cutting open messy packages. With Maev, I just scoop it out into their bowls, no thawing required. I had to get them slow feeders because they love it so much, they were eating too fast. My Australian Cattle Dog was so itchy all the time before Maev, and now she NEVER scratches! I will keep using Maev—highly recommend!

They are wonderful! I received my package and it was damaged, but I reached out and they were so understanding on sending a new one!

My two little doggies have been eating Maev (Beef) for about a month now and they absolutely LOVE it!!! I am also really impressed. We switched at the suggestion of our vet to remove chicken and I discovered Maev Raw. In the past month, my two have stopped incessantly licking their paws and rubbing their ears on the carpet - something the vet attributed to possible allergies. The doggos get 2.5 ounces each per meal (very easy to measure out!) and their weight is perfect. Energy - well, they are Yorkshire Terriers so ... who knows but - lots of energy (heh). We are now on our second month and I see zero reasons to change to something else. Dogs are happy, Dog people are happy, wallet is happy - because this is very affordable ... who could ask for more?

We had a shipment that got delayed and wanted it arrived was no longer edible. But the Mave team was very quick to respond and immediately sent out a replacement at no charge! There customer service in response time was exceptional.

Loyal customer sense 2024! You will not find better food for your dog. I think Millie gets more excited for breakfast and dinner than she does when I get home, and if you own a dog you know that says something.

I've been using Maev for a few months now, and my dog has been doing great on their whole-ingredient raw food—better energy, shinier coat, and overall happier pup. We recently moved, and unfortunately, one of our boxes was shipped to the old address and got stolen before we could redirect it.
I reached out to Maev's team, explained the situation, and they didn't hesitate—they sent a full replacement box to our new address completely free of charge, no questions asked beyond confirming details. That kind of hassle-free support and generosity is rare these days, especially with perishable pet food. It really shows they stand behind their customers and care about keeping dogs fed properly.
