We have been using Maeve since the early days when the food was in individual cups like a meat smoothie for your dog. We have stuck with them all this time because a. Our dogs LOVE the food, b. The customer service has always been on point c. They reward you for buying dog food by giving you more dog food (for free!) d. And the packaging, because that’s what got me here in the first place. I’m so glad they have expanded and are shipping country wide now, as we are moving far far away and are so glad we can still get Maeve!

Worst experience ever!!!!! My dog would not eat the food and even when I attempted to insert into his mouth he would spit out. The company refused to refund and I’m now disputing the charges. I bet a lot of the good reviews are fake! Gross product as my dog will typically eat anything. Even worse customer service!

Product is excellent. The company really wants to make a difference.

Disgusting Bloody mess! I have six working Australian Shepherd dogs. I have fed a lot of different types of food but this one was by far the worst experience. It arrived thawed and left a bloody mess in the post office and in my brand new car.
My dogs definitely did not like it and it made them have diarrhea. The company will not give you a refund even though you are extremely dissatisfied with their product. Any company that does not offer a refund that’s your clue right there.

Maev is truly the best dog food we’ve ever fed our dogs. It’s fresh, convenient and delivered promptly when I need it. My dogs go crazy for it and their coat, allergies and health are incomparable since switching over. The customer service is also phenomenal! Absolutely thrilled with Maev.

Do not buy this. I purchased the raw food and collagen cubes which showed up melted, thawed, and liquid.

They shipped it 2-day with an ice pack in the middle of summer. The delivery did not sit on the porch as I brought it inside as soon as it was delivered. I sent them images about this and it took them 2 days to reply about this issue.

When they did, they shipped a new box to replace this being an issue. Great, sounds good. Second box arrives exact same way. Poorly insulated and melted. I reach out again, it takes two days for them to respond.

When I tell them it happened again they reply "Thanks for letting us know." No further help or anything. I ask for a refund as my dog can't eat raw food that thawed and then turned into a solid block that's not scoopable and melted cubes that are no longer cubes. They offer to ship a third time. I don't want to keep getting thawed boxes so I ask for a refund. They tell me I didn't buy the shipping insurance so I can't get a refund. So I need to buy insurance so your package shows up properly?

I never write reviews but this company has poorly handled the situation for a $200 dog food order. Its not about the refund, its about the hoops I have jumped through to purchase, wait, email about issue, wait, get new food, email again, telling me that they will ship a 3rd time and will do a better job shipping with insulation. Why didn't they do that the second time?

They position themselves as a more premier dog food but this is not premier service. I run an e-com brand and have shipped thousands of packages and get things happen but if an item doesn't arrive usable for the customer then you can't keep the customers money. It's just bad business.

It would be one thing if my dog ate the food or didn't like it but this is raw food melting. So therefore the situation has put such a bad taste in my mouth that you should be aware that this is the service you will get if you have an issue with your order. This is so disappointing as their presentation online is beautiful but their back end doesn't match this service.

MoMo, my 13 year old lab also has kidney problems and takes meds. He had a rough winter and 6 vets and 7k later, I took all their info and researched to find he has chronic canine bronchitis. Shortly after, i saw some ads for Maev...I decided to go with it...He has an extra skip in his walk and seems younger. On hikes, people are shocked and can't believe his age. I have become a crusader for Maev and people are excited to try it when they see MoMol! I can't thank these people enough and they are all so kind!!

My first order arrived thawed. I was very disappointed. But I'm happy to say that today I received the replacement order and it was packaged with more insulation and dry ice. I appreciate the additional effort from Maev to ensure the food was protected. Looking forward to a healthier and happier furbaby.

My dogs love this food. The customer care is amazing. Only negative is the meat pieces have become larger over the past year than they used to be and sometimes they aren’t cut though all the way leaving the pieces too large for my dogs to eat.

Maev is the best easy raw food option I could find. I love that you can see the human grade ingredients and my dog loves the frozen crunch and taste. He gets lots of compliments on the quality of his coat as well. The membership site can be a bit buggy to manage but the team is always reachable via email.

Excellent food AND excellent customer service makes Maev a perfect selection for dogs and their humans!!
We have 4 active senior dogs (9-15) that all have different food sensitivities. They have been eating Maev raw for about a month and not only are they lined up for mealtime, their energy and smiles have significantly increased. They were eating a human grade delivery food before, but this appears to be even better for them and they can ALL EAT IT. I can’t remember a time they were all on the same food, makes my life easier. Yes, it’s expensive, but all the shipments are guaranteed so if something goes wrong they send a new one, which you can arrange right from the website. So glad I decided to try Maev!

I didn’t care for the website but my 8 month old Shar Pei eats the skin and coat blend and loves it. I am very happy with the food and her coat is magnificent. She’d be a great cover dog!
