I purchased a high pressure washer EW3800 from Miller and Mason on 24th February 2025, order number 28000004284 after a lot of research.
We have only used it once and we were very pleased with the performance.
However we got it out again yesterday only to find that the high pressure hose on the reel had become disconnected and the circlip had come off.
The only way we could attach it was to remove the spool, which in itself was not straight forward.
When we tried to attach the pressure hose again it was not possible to connect it through the reel, we connected it but it is still disconnecting despite using 3 new circlips.
Obviously we would like the machine to be useable as it was when I purchased it, but at present this is not possible.

We ordered a 272 BAR 3950PSI Petrol Pressure Washer. (I am not convinced that it is actually as powerful as they claim)

On assembly I found that the screws etc were all over the place and thought the box must have been dropped but couldn't see any obvious signs of damage so proceeded to assemble it (instructions were for a different model but it was quite straightforward).

When I came to start it I found that the throttle mech was bent; I straightened it and got it going. I notified them at the tine but as it seemed to be working fine I didn't return it. The second time I came to start it, it wouldn't start and it took me half an hour to get it going.

I contacted M&M (Nitrotek) and then started the email battle; very quickly saying they wouldn't replace due to UK law etc. After many emails it was found that the engine mounts were bent and that as a result the engine was not siting horizontally; when propped up to level it started and ran fine.

They refused to replace, they did offer a repair or sending parts on the basis that it was over 180 days and that I had accepted it as damaged.

Despite pointing out that it was clearly not fit for purpose on arrival which overrides reliance on UK return/replacement laws they still refused to replace.

I asked for one of the Directors to call me but they did not take this up.

In total this must have involved over 50 emails.

Finally I asked them to send the parts which they did.

Summary; the customer is clearly not at the centre of their business so if you have an issue you are in for a hard time.

Great and prompt company to deal with. The jet washer is the best I have ever used it’s a great piece of kit, would highly recommend it to anyone. Just wish they had the accessory kit in stock so I could have bought that too.

Power washer arrived on time haven’t actually used it yet on big jobs,it’s a bit heavy to get in and out of the boot.

Five star service! I ordered a high power jet washer and it arrived within 3 days! Wonderful machine with amazing power! Only one niggle was the instruction leaflet, the English was not great and the pictures were tiny! Otherwise I would highly recommend the company and product.

Just purchased the 4000 psi power washer which I first saw in Google ads. I've used it now for around 8 hours in total and can honestly say that it's lived up to my expectations. Terrific starter and great pressure. I called to arrange collection and payment and the whole process was handled efficiently and pleasantly by the office and warehouse staff. Would recommend.
