I brought the Miofive dashcam as it was said to have brilliant night vision and clear daylight footage. This unfortunately I found to be incorrect it does not get clear readable footage of cars approaching in daylight or nighttime so is a waste of money
It would be 5 star except for one aspect, that I will come to.
The camera S1 PRO is an excellent and well priced dashcam. It is easy to fit and configure and I would recommend it.
The only down side is that although it is advertised as controllable via their app. in order to do this, you cannot have any of the following running on your phone: A VPN, Wi-Fi calling, Anti-virus software, as this interrupts the signal and the phone will not connect to the camera.
The Bluetooth advertised is merely a connection method for connecting to the WiFi hotspot created and not the way the two communicate.
This is not at all clear in their promotions and although it is a bit annoying that I can only access the camera directly and via USB, this means removing it from its in car mount, it was still a worthwhile purchase.
Their Customer services are very quick to respond and helpful. It is where I obtained this information.
