Great Information For Restorers
I was at wit's end trying to obtain 4 constant tension hose clamps for my '06 Monte Carlo SS radiator hoses. The dealer tried to convince me to use worm drive clamps, which are unacceptable (always leak). Scott was courteous and extremely helpful in selling me just the right Mishimoto constant tension clamps. He even helped me with other clamp information. Thank you, Scott, and Mishimoto!
Joe T, THE GOAT!
my name is Noah, Mr. Joe T. from customer service was a HUGE help for me regarding finding a replacement gasket for the oil cooler sandwich plate for my 370z. Which I guess is pretty much custom made for them. I couldn't find anything even similar online. Once finding the part I needed ASAP, Joe did everything in his power to make sure the warehouse was aware of the situation and to get it out the door just hours later!
it was literally the very last piece Im waiting for in order to get the new motor started after being down for 2 years!
again, Joe T, he is the man, super nice & understanding team. blessed to have spoke with him today.
Poor customer service
Poor customer service! I purchased a coolant filtration kit from them (6.0 Ford diesel) after installing and replacing the coolant one of the ball valves leaked at the handle! I sent them a video of it leaking to get it replaced. They wanted me to remove the complete kit and return it for Replacement! When I ask if they could simply send me a replacement ball valve they never responded! Simply a bad company!!
cast aluminum oil pan F150
I purchased a cast aluminum oil pan to replace the composite OEM pan on my 2017 F150. The latter has a chronic problem with recurrent seal failure with leak. The part I received was installed by my local mechanic who commented that the pan was the best quality he had seen. Also, dealing with Mishimoto’s customer service folks was a pleasure - very helpful and courteous.
Warranty means nothing to international customers
An Australian customer who has experienced a recurring radiator leak with my Mishimoto radiator (this is the second time in six years). Mishimoto's warranty process has changed, and now requires customers to pay for shipping of new radiator directly to them from the US for a warranty service. The shipping cost from Australia is a prohibitive $576 AUD, almost the same price as a new radiator purchased locally ($600 AUD). This makes the warranty practically useless for international customers.
Bought a radiator for a 2006 f250 6.0L
Bought a radiator for a 2006 f250 6.0L, the first one they sent me had a hole in it that I did not find until post installation. They sent me a refund radiator that developed a hole a little under a year after purchase. When I asked for a refund for selling me 2 broken products they refused, offering me partial store credit, or less than half of my money back via a check. NEVER buying anything from them again.
Would not give me a partial refund…
They would not give me a partial refund because it has been too long since I have received the hoses. Not everyone has time in their daily life that they can do a install right when they get a part. I would stick to koyorad and samco. They have been a lot better with customer service and part quality!
NO PROBLEMS HERE
Not sure if they changed their business model but I have had great luck with Mishimoto customer service and their coolant hose products. I cant speak for their radiators
Delivery delay
Continuous delays in delivering a product, waited over 2 months for f30 intake from two shops that kept telling me that mishimoto will be sending them and when they receive they send them to me directly. They never got the product to send so i cancelled the order. Too bad, if you have time to wait order a mishimoto product.
Radiator shroud and fan
I bought a radiator shroud + fan for my Nissan Skyline. The website states "30% better cooling".
Turns out it's a massive downgrade. My car overheated real quick due to lack of airflow. The fan can bearly keep the temps low.
I put back the oem shroud and fan, and all the problems are gone.
Its ridiculous that companies can sell such lies for big money. If i didnt keep track of my cooling water temps, i would have blown my headgasket for sure.
NEVER BUY MISHIMOTO!!!! Its junk
First off I'll start by saying I NEVER…
First off I'll start by saying I NEVER BOUGHT THIS RADITOR BRAND NEW. I was given a radiator for my 2007 scion TC. The original owner sold the car to a friend. My friend blew the motor in his scion tc. After blowing the motor my friend gave me the radiator. The radiator given to me needs to be cleaned up quite a bit. Needs a new cap & drain plug drilled out & replaced. I understand it's a life time warranty to the original purchaser. I get that... I reached out asking if I could send it in to Mishimoto to have it refurbished. I was more than willing to pay for shipping & pay for whatever needed to be fixed. NOPE!! They won't even help me one bit. Thank God I live near the mexico border. Will be taking it this weekend to be fixed all g with tacos & beers. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS GARBAGE COMPANY!!
Condenser for 370Z
I contacted Mishimoto because the condenser on the radiator/condenser assembly for my 370z was damaged. They offered to warranty it even though I was out of the time window, and they went the extra mile in providing me quick delivery and kept in contact with me throughout the process. Overall I was very impressed. I'm honestly not sure why there are so many bad reviews on them, everything I've ever bought from them has been fantastic and I've always experienced great customer service.
Bought Mishimoto radiator for f350…
Bought Mishimoto radiator for f350 leaking at bottom junk. They do not stand by products Autozone has better warranty. Do not recommend them for any parts customer service could not even look up serial number and tell who bought I call BS in my profession venders can see I bought a serial numbered equipment from 20 years ago
The worst customer service and products
The worst customer service and products I have ever come across. Purchased lugnuts that said they were 19’s. Some were 19’s some weren’t. Had to buy a lugnut extractor set and try to wrench them out of my spacer (which damaged it a little). When I complained and had all of the video evidence to show them they did NOTHING to help or replace the brand new lugs i bought. In fact they blamed me for everything then BLOCKED ME ON INSTAGRAM…There is a reason they don’t have a google registered business, so people can’t leave reviews for their crappy business. Never buy from this place, they were belittling and so immature about it all. I have been working on cars for as long as i can remember with a team and this was unbelievable the way they treated me. I don’t even know how they are still in business to be honest.
Bought a set of Mishimoto standpipes…
Bought a set of Mishimoto standpipes from another vendor. The o-rings for the standpipes degraded after only 2 months of use. Contacted the vendor who said to contact Mishimoto. Did that, and they were very nice about replacing the part, but began asking a lot of questions, like "did you install correctly?" (Yes, it was done by one of our mechanics), "did you contact the vendor first?" (Yes, I told you this when I first contacted you). Then I get an email requesting I share in the cost of shipping the new part ($15 dollars, which is more than the actual shipping cost). They insist this is normal practice in the industry (it's not), and I'm still trying to dispute this. If your part is defective and this is a warranty replacement, they YOU are supposed to pay shipping.
E-shop and customer service suck
I'm never gonna buy Mishimoto product directly from them, the service is awful. Don't get me wrong, I have some of their products on my car (Toyota Supra) and they work perfectly, but I didn't buy these from their site. 5 months ago I decided to order some stuff from them directly, because no other shop had them in stock. To my surprise a month later they tell me they don't have their own products in stock (even when at the time they apparently were) and if I wanna be put on backorder, because they expect them to be available soon. I naturally asked them to do so. Two months later no update from them, so I raised a ticket. They told me it's not shipped yet because one item is still not stocked. I asked them to remove it from my order and ship the rest. Guess what, shipment still not on the way. I lost my patience and asked them for refund (which still hasn't been processed). Communication with them is an absolute joke. They don't respond to emails even when they literally ask you to reply with them. When you send a ticket through the site, it takes weeks to get an aswer. For how respectable Mishimoto brand is, their eshop and customer service is just atrocious.
Extremely Disappointed with Mishimoto Radiators: Poor Customer Service and Defective Products
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)
I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Mishimoto radiators, and I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I am with both their product quality and customer service. Not only did I receive a cracked radiator upon delivery, but the company's handling of the situation has been nothing short of abysmal.
To start with, the fact that I received a damaged radiator in the first place is unacceptable. It's clear evidence of poor quality control and negligence on Mishimoto's part. One would expect a reputable company to ensure that their products are properly inspected and packaged before shipping them to customers. However, in my case, I was unfortunate enough to receive a defective item.
The real nightmare began when I reached out to Mishimoto's customer service department for assistance. I explained the issue and was promised that they would send me a form to initiate the return and replacement process. However, two weeks have passed since then, and I have yet to receive any form or even a proper response from the company. Instead, I have been given the runaround, with empty promises and excuses.
This lack of communication and failure to resolve the issue in a timely manner is completely unacceptable. As a customer, I expected responsible and efficient customer service, especially when dealing with a faulty product. Mishimoto's failure to address my concerns shows a complete disregard for their customers and a lack of accountability for their own products.
Adding insult to injury, my dissatisfaction led me to look up online reviews of Mishimoto radiators, only to find that many other customers have had similar experiences. According to these reviews, a significant portion of Mishimoto's products are reportedly defective, and the company has a reputation for not standing behind their products. This further reaffirms my belief that Mishimoto's quality control and customer service leave much to be desired.
Based on my personal experience and the numerous negative reviews I've come across, I strongly advise against purchasing Mishimoto radiators or any other products from this company. Their inability to deliver a functional product and their failure to provide adequate customer support are clear indicators of their lack of commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
I would strongly recommend exploring alternative brands that have a proven track record of both reliable products and excellent customer service. It's crucial to invest your hard-earned money in companies that value their customers and take pride in delivering high-quality products. Mishimoto, unfortunately, falls short on both fronts, and I cannot stress enough how important it is to steer clear of their products. I will spend the rest of my day posting reviews to every forum and review page I can find and all products on Amazon to insure people do not get tricked by this company. I will also be posting my review to my 300zx community page with over 4k users daily because no one should have to go through the hassle I went through.
I Hate dealing with this company
I Hate dealing with this company, should have learnt from last time.
I ordered a radiator, but changed my mind.
I received the parcel but I didn't even open the parcel and sent it back.
It was £600 but they charged me a restocking fee and only gave me £514 so they made £86 for putting it back on the shelf totally untouched and unopened.
How can a company get away with that.
I've told them I'm looking at sueing them as it's common practice with this discusting company
They really need to go out of business.
I ordered something for £800 then once I paid it said it was out of stock till 6 weeks! I'm done with this Chinese crap company.
Please do not have dealings with them.
I ordered a part online
I ordered a part online. The next day Mishimoto sent me an email stating the part was back ordered and it would be six to eight weeks. I then proceeded to source the part from another vendor. Once I had secured the part elsewhere I sent a message back to Mishimoto to just cancel my order. This all happened within a week. Next thing I know the part arrives from Mishimoto! Since I already had the part from someone else, I didn’t need theirs. They refuse to refund my money in full even though it was their screw up. Now I’m stuck paying for a part that I don’t need. I’m so sick of online companies using the arms length nature of internet transactions to just be greedy and provide terrible customer service!
Stay Away from Mishimoto
Bought an oil cooler 8/23. I bought this direct from Mishimoto rather then Amazon thinking I would get better customer service. Boy was I wrong, Prior to buying this cooler Mishimoto was very responsive in answering all my questions. Now after purchase and install nothing. I was unhappy from the beging. When I contacted them they asked for pictures of installation which I got to the right away. Which was installed correctly. Nothing , no reply no answer at all I have emailed them multipal times nothing. I would not buy anything from Mishimoto again.
