From the Companies House website, company number 16862377, SJ Ecom Ltd was created in Nov 2025. The signficant owner is not in the UK - they are in the Netherlands. The registered business address, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Gardens, London, (you can google them) is a 'rent-a-room' office building, so is not a fixed business address.

The modecas website claims to have a 'rating of 4.7' with 3500+ happy customers and 98% 'would recommend'. However, there are no links to these claims, and no reviews available to read on their website other than a one or two they choose to show you with no clickable links.

Please research carefully before ordering anything.

Scam: full of fake reviews and AI images of products being delivered. Registered address is a London address famous for fake businesses (this particular address has 85,000 registered businesses) Products are not sent.

Well unfortunately I purchased an air cooler , as I was so excited to get one modecas sent a message out it’s on its way and replied to a email .
Payment still pending and I have had to replace my card due to someone trying to hack into my account

Its a scam! Don't buy anything from this website. I've reported this and other similar website to the police.

I have reason to believe that the people who set up this store are the same ones who set up the online store Wilson and Carter, which is a total scam. I urge you, if you are thinking about buying from this store to check out the reviews of Wilson and Carter and take a good look at the listings before making a decision.
