Modular Closets was very easy to work with. I looked at a similar closet in Colorado, but Modular Closets had the corner tower and a finished floor piece. For $400 more, the Colorado company did not have the tower and finished floor piece. Modular Closets was a better deal and every question and concern was promptly addressed. They have great customer service. The installed closet looks great and is very functional; my entire experience with them was positive.

The designer helped me maximize my space and achieve a beautiful and functional closet. The materials are great quality and were easy to assemble. Great customer service.

Shipped with insufficient hardware.

After fully installing the product, I love both my closet and pantry. The reason I have a 4 instead of a five star, was because the initial plan did not consider the light switch location. The replacement section of the closet was sent, for free, once reviewed with customer service that the error was made at design. Overall, the customer service process was good. Love the product!

Fast excellent service from start to finish. The one minor issue with a part was resolved quickly and efficiently.

Great design and great customer support

I love my Modular Closets closets!!! We installed all new closet systems to replace wire builder closets and they look AWESOME!! The systems shipped very quickly and were easy and straightforward to install. We loved the master so much we replaced all of the closets in the house. Great price and great quality!! Love my new closet systems!

Product came exactly as I ordered. After sales support was wonderful. I needed the detail design I did and it was sent via email right away. All are installed now and look exactly as the design.

Had we known ahead of time the problems we would've had, we would probably not have ordered this very expensive closet system. We worked with one of their designers, but ran into problems during construction from the design being done backwards. Construction is NOT as easy as portrayed. We think some video connections to each step could've helped with assembly. Directions were not so clear. Also, the materials are not very forgiving if you have to disassemble something and fix a mistake you've made during assembly. We will say that the company did try to correct the mistakes originally made during the design phase and send us parts that were damaged. Shipping problems occurred more than once and the whole project took waaaaay longer because of these hiccups. It is sturdy and we are getting used to it, but we are not head over heels with this closet project and how it turned out.

I'm beyond mad about this purchase that was pushed on my wife while she was going through the first trimester sickness and exhaustion. I didn't realize until the pallet showed up that the salesperson was harassing her directly behind my back to complete the sale.

When ordering my closet, the sales person called and emailed all the time. Bordering on pushy. Then once we got our closet and realized there was an issue, it was impossible to talk to her. We were had another small issue, and I created a ticket with their customer support and I never heard back. The closet is fine, but they are over communicative when they are selling to you, and under communicative after.

UPDATE: I called the phone number they provided in their response, and no one returned my calls! I left messages and texted them. I’m so confused.

Dealing with the company from start to finish was perfect. I was assisted with the layout and was able to design the closet exactly the way we wanted. Communication throughout the process was excellent. The material came sooner than expected. Quality and east of construction was excellent. I actually miss placed, or lost one small piece that they rushed to me within a couple days at no cost. An excellent company to deal with.

Our experience with Modular Closets was more than we could have hoped for. First, they responded in very short order to our request for help in designing our new closet. Next we met by phone with Emily, who woukd help us with our project. She created a beautiful custom closet for us. She definitely jumped her highest to help us with our project. We also decided to put an organizer in our office closet, what a difference it has made.
We just finished a total refresh of our home. We have had people ask our most favorite part if the project. With no hesitation, it is our new custom closet, beautiful and functional.

I had an all around great experience. The design tool took a little getting used to but once I figured it out it was easy to design my closets. I was able to speak with someone over the phone to help go through my designs and they were able to help me troubleshoot. The delivery was quick and the closets look great. When I ran into an issue during the installation, their customer service was fantastic on helping me resolve the issue. I would use them again for future closets.

#1) Instructions need to be clearer, too much like IKEA instructions
#2) Hole cut outs for the hangers are too far forward, thusly clothes would hang too far out of the side panels.
#3) The rod hangers cannot be put back to back at same level since screws holding rod holders in place contact each other when putting rods at the same level
#4) Because I had to drill my own holes for the rod hangers, a space template should be included.
#5) If customer does not want to remove baseboards, a template cut out should be included in set. Which I created on my own,thank you.
#6) The delivery is somewhat lacking.
#7) Customers should be informed that some rudimentary carpentry skills are required.
#8) Molding to cover panel to wall space should be standard.
#9) Design of closet was to specs
#10) Staff was very accommodative and helpful

Other than that the closet came out great!

The system was customizable to my contractor’s specs to look built in. We haven’t finished the full install but it looks great and after putting in some drywall trim, it looks very luxury.
