Modular closets helped bring our design to life and in budget. Very happy with our experience.

Shea was really helpful and knowledgeable on how to layout our complicated closet area with lots of obstacles to deal with. Shea was able to get the most usable storage space for us. We are very thankful for all his abilities and experiences. The Modular Closet components came in quickly with all the parts and well illustrated instructions. We had a lot of components with our design so I won’t kid you but it took a good 5 to 6 hours of dedicated time to assemble and attach each component level and to the studding in the wall. The products are really well designed with very high quality types of materials being used. I’m sure they will last many many years free of defects. If in the future I did need additional closet designs, I would not hesitate to call on Modular Closets again. Great group of people to work with, you won’t regret it.

Customer service was fantastic. Ran into an issue that was my fault but they corrected at no expense to me.

They were very responsive and really listened to my needs. The designer was spot on with what he presented for my closet design. There was a minor glitch but they took care of it immediately when I notified them. I am very pleased with the quality and the end result.

I met online with Eli and he came up with a design that I loved. When the unit arrived (they had my order expedited which I appreciated) I had my contractor, who was remodeling my walk-in closet assemble it. The pieces for the corner unit were missing. My contractor identified the exact components that were missing using the modular installation reference provided and I emailed customer service asking for the specific components. I emailed Eli and heard nothing back. I called customer service and was asked by Caroline to email a list of what I needed. I sent the list with specific item numbers and the picture of my design explaining what was missing. They did send one of the drawer slides that also was missing from the original order and 2 boxes of shelves that I already had but not the components I needed. I then scheduled another online meeting with Eli and sat online for 25 minutes and he never joined the meeting. I called customer service back and spoke to Caroline again. She asked me to email her the list of components I need. I emailed them to her again and then got another email from her with the original order list and the items I needed were not on the list. She asked me to confirm what was missing from the order. What I needed to construct the modular designed by Eli was not all listed on the original order (I told her this). I don’t care if they weren’t on the list—I was told I would receive the pieces I needed to assemble the modular that Eli designed for me. I emailed back again with the list and haven’t heard a thing. I like the Modulars but they need to be secured to the walls of the closet for me to safely use them and I can’t do that until I get the corner shelving unit.

The design process went well. Delivery was quick. The problem arise when they sent two of the same sides for my hutch base, did not send any directions for sssemblung the hutch or corner pieces. When they sent. Replacement side, they sent the same side again. They finally got the right piece delivered nd I I was Ble to finish my closet, albeit four weeks late.

We had a couple of issues with our install. One issue was our fault in that the actual closet foot print changed during construction. After conversion with Clara, Modular Closets sent us new shelves to accommodate the actual space for no additional cost. The other issue had to do with drawer assembly. Again I contacted MC and they replaced the defective kits. All of our interactions with Modular Closets has been pleasant and professional.
The material was great and the fit up was easy. The instructions were okay but you need to pay close attention to the fasteners placement.

Amazing team to work with. My initial measurement given to the team was some what wrong but Modular team kept their word to deliver extra materials without any cost. I would give five star to this company and love to order for my future closets.

We couldn’t have been happier with our closet order. The quality of the drawers exceeded my expectations. It took me a full day and a half to install. But the instructions were very clear to follow. This was for a medium sized walk in closet with two drawer sections.

Great product, exactly as advertised. Not the cheapest. But high quality and great value for DIY system. I would recommend.

Originally, the amount of equipment we received was overwhelming and the installation directions were very general. After getting the first section built, the following sections were a simple repeat. One note to anyone buying this system… do not rely on the support help line. Contact your salesperson direct to get top shelf support. I would buy the product again, but would change a few things on the layout now that I have the experience.

This was such a great experience! From start to finish, the Modular Closets team supported us with a live project manager, helped us use the design app as well as to manage the product to fit our budget! And on top of that, they were available to chat or converse with us by phone on weekends. I don’t know of any other company that supports you in that way. We tried other online closet businesses and no other company gave nearly the same level of care. We will use the for all future projects!!!
