AVOID THIS COMPANY
Product was not as advertised - it was a very poor imitation of the advertised product.
When I complained was advised to return the product to China.
I wish I’d read reviews before dealing with this company.

I was offered and accepted a 25% refund from Montford if I was to keep the boots. However, I still feel the product is of very poor quality even with the 25% discount.

Ordered boots from this company far to little not UK sizing offered 100% gift card instead of refund, I refused this as wanted cash back only offered 25% if I send boots back to china. Opened dispute with PayPal. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Awful quality and service. Bought a jacket end of November as a Christmas present. Far too small, awfully cheap fabric and very poor quality. Unable to return as you only have 30 days and they refused to acknowledge the Christmas obstacle. Also refused to give their original offer of 25% refund/keep product because of the 30 day return deadline. Shockingly bad products and customer service! AVOID!!!!

Fabric and stitching feel carefully made and worth the price.

This company uses illegal practices.Buys cheap inferior products and sells on at a huge mark-up misleading buyer with false claims and advertising.

Horrible products combined with poor customer service.
Very cheap feeling product. Material is horrible stiff polyester (created so match static trying it on I think I could boil a kettle!). Description is 'silky material', no where in description does it mention it is 100% polyester - looks nothing like the photos. Definitely a case that you'd never buy this if you saw it in a shop.
Delivery was also slow.
Returns you have to send to CHINA at your own cost - company is based in NL.
Will be checking EU internet laws (or UK as that's where the transaction took place) - hopefully will be some protection from scammers like Montford.
I wish I'd thought to check the reviews and saved myself the hassle and disappointment.

Extremely misleading return policy and very poor quality.
What is advertised on the website is not what you receive. The quality of the item was a complete disappointment and nowhere near the photos or description.
The return policy is also deeply misleading. Their website states a European return address, but once you request a return, they suddenly change the rules and demand that the item be sent back to China, which was never clearly disclosed upfront.
When challenged, they play dumb, avoid responsibility, and try to push discounts or store credit instead of a real refund. Customer service relies on pressure and confusion rather than honest resolution.
I had to involve PayPal to get my refund. Buyers should be very careful — this business model feels designed to make returns as difficult as possible.

I have had the same experience as others leather boots that looked great arrived plastic and awful quality and did not fit. On asking for a refund advised to return to China, that is misleading as not what their policy says. I am asking g for a 100% refund and not a 25% gift card as offered and no need to return the goods. They probably cost £2.00 to buy and I paid £57.00 very upset as were a Christmas present for my daughter

The shoes do not look as advertised at all, the website was well presented and polished looking so misleading. Shoes are cheap and nasty and badly fitting. You are forced to return the item to China. What a huge disappointment! Do not buy from this place

Absolutely dreadful. Purchased a pair of boots £57. The advertised picture was of a good quality leather pair. What arrived totally opposite. Very cheap nasty plastic only fit for the dustbin. I queried how to return them to be told I would have to foot the cost of sending them back to an overseas address which would cost more than the boots! Do not buy from these people.

They don't do half sizes. The 2 pairs of size 5 shoes were huge. Offered a 100% gift voucher in fairness, but to send the shoes back was going to be a costly palaver. Charity shop a winner. I won't be dealing with this apparently Dutch (shipping from China) again. Not recommended

Clean minimalist style, easy to style and feels boutique-level quality.

Absolute scam company. I ordered boots and then read the bad reviews so cancelled. I cancelled within their stated 60 minute cancellation window, but they lied and said the boots had already been shipped (impossible as it was a Sunday).

The boots eventually arrived from China, despite the website stating they are based in the Netherlands. The boots are plastic and not leather, as the website states, and really poor quality. It's now impossible to get a refund.

Avoid these scammers at all costs.

Whenever I come across a new site I now Google Map their 'registered' address. Montford seem to be on a residential estate in the Netherlands, eg no shop front or warehouse.
Nothing wrong with people using their homes for business but it does make you wary.
And based on the reviews, I'm staying clear.
