We had a wonderful experience purchasing our first home with Westley at Morgan Alexander. Westley was friendly, incredibly responsive and aligned with our timeline to get the sale through in time for the stamp duty changes. We couldn’t have done it without Westley, thank you!

Een nieuw bed gekocht bij Morgana Alexandrium, vriendelijk geholpen door Ronald. Hij heeft alle tijd genomen en alles zorgvuldig uitgelegd. Zelden zo goed geholpen in een winkel en gelijk de beslissing genomen deze boxspring te kopen. Boxspring ondertussen geleverd, hele nette mensen die het geplaatst hebben. Wij slapen er nu twee weken op naar volle tevredenheid. Kan deze winkel voor 100% aanraden.

We have been totally 'played' and let down by Louis from Morgan Alexander! We gave them an opportunity to market our lovely home, despite having had received feedback from local friends who had had mixed experiences with Louis when selling their homes! I helped him to write the details up of our home. We sold with a quick deal to our first viewers as Louis had agreed a deal with the developers on the one we were buying. This deal was very tight. Two weeks after we worked hard to get our mortgage offer in principle and instruct solicitors and paid a deposit to secure the new build, Louis phoned to say the developers now wanted another 25K from us. He said he wouldn't be able to get it from our buyers! We had just transferred some money towards the holding fee and hour before! We feel lies were told and that he was a chancer and immature at dealing with things when they got tough! Westley was professional and kind and picked up the pieces a couple of times, but we didn't get to work with him sadly! Our For Sale board also arrived over a week and a half late and we had then sold! So, the deal is off and we have lost the house we were going for. We do not trust Volker Fitzpatrick or Louis and Morgan Alexander so have removed our house from Rightmove and them. We have kept in strong communication with Lisa and Steve from Steven Oates and after a period will be marketing with them and hope to get the professionalism back. Louis let us and our children down and it felt he was out of control at times and put the needs of the developer Volker Fitzpatrick and our buyer, over us. Such a waste of time and hardwork and we should have listened to friends! We are totally gutted but hopeful that Steven Oates will come good for us.

Louis was a godsend throughout our process of buying and selling. Excellent professional warm and trustworthy. Always answered the phone, replied swiftly to queries. Chased the solicitors on our behalf. Nothing was too much trouble. Made the move as painless as possible. Hard-working, charming and a credit to the company. Highly recommend.

Morgan Alexander have been excellent since day one of me dealing with them. Issues with a rental at the start and they where on it really quickly. Went out of their way to sort things out , out of business hours to !
I find them easy to contact. Always sort any issues I have out rapidly and then check all is ok. In comparison to other estate agents I’ve dealt with in Hertford. And I’ve dealt with most of them. ! They are by far the best. Recommended

I heard a couple of good reviews about one of the guys here, but unfortunately, i got the other one. Overall it seemed to me that he wanted to do the least work possible, trying to persuade me to go with the first (low) offer I got. He was slap dash and once I had accepted an offer I felt really bullied by him to do everything for the benefit of my buyers, including me moving into rented as there was a delay with the property I was buying. It certainly didn't seem like he was working for me or that I was the one paying his fee. At the end when we were negotiating a completion date which was difficult he told me that he couldn't deal with this any more and we would have to sort it out via our solicitors. At that point I said I couldn't deal with him any more, which I should have said right at the start. The owner took over and was so much better to deal with but never apologised or asked what the problem was.
