Terrible!! I paid for my ticket. On payment was informed I would receive a confirmation email with ticket. It has not arrived Communication with their customer support has been so frustrating I wonder if it’s a bot. Email is not in other folders which they suggested Also suggested I set up an account Can’t do that either. Constantly get an ‘error’ message Incredibly frustrating I’ve let them know I’ll be writing this negative review. All I can do now is hope the venue accepts my PayPal receipt on its own without ticket Never again Moshtix!!
Whatever you do don’t cancel your tickets!!
I had accident which made me unable to attend an event due to injury I payed for the tickets plus the cancellation extra part just incase - didn’t think I would have to use it but I did - don’t bother you won’t get your money back even when u send through all documents and proof they won’t give you it back I will never use them again!!
Terrible customer service after our booked show was cancelled. No reply to rebook for another date. Had to contact via facebook to get a response, still waiting to be sorted.
You are stealing scammers. I hope the ACCC kicks your pathetic asses. How can you take money for a festival that isn’t held? What did you take my money for? Just to line your own thieving pockets? What did you spend my money on? Moshtix are unethical scumbags
Poor customer service and flexibility if sick
Harsh no refund policies, limited support and terrible UX. Hope I don't ever have to buy from them again
$5 transaction fee is nuts. was going to pay with credit card but read that your data ends up with some company called stripe. no doubt moshtix sells your data too. humanitix is where its at
Exorbitant fees. Got the job done but as we were forced to use this service to sell the tickets to the event we could no longer go to - they essentially took 10% as fees from us, and also charged the new buyer of the tickets 10% fees as well.
A cool 20% extra profit for hosting the ticket resales on their site that has a legal monopoly.
Consumer NZ should get invoved
Firstly, they collect way beyond the required personal information for this type of transaction.
Secondly, like others, I never received an email/sms confirmation with the tickets, neither did any other ticket holder, for whom I also had to add all of their personal information.
Thirdly, on contacting them to resolve this, was told, unless I hand over even MORE personal data, they will not release the tickets, and no refunds.
Pathetic company, avoid, avoid, avoid.
Slow responses, and after repeatedly telling them that I couldnt access my account, their emails for renewing password never arrived (yes I checked other folders) then link from them to get into account didnt work, them sending me my ticket to my email that didnt come though either. They offered no further help even though it must be a technical issue at their end as I have never had a problem like this with other websites. Theyve bascially taken my money and Ive received nothing, now theyve cut me off. Terrible service.
Ordered collector tickets as they were a gift. 2 months later and many emails still haven't received. Don't waste your money or time with this option
I’ve been waiting for a refund since an event that was cancelled. Cancelled on the 23rd of December. No contact number, no replies to the 6 form enquiries i have submitted. Can someone contact me ASAP.
I'm not keen on ticketing companies generally and would rather buy direct from the artist or the venue. all they are is a portal and a middleman making a mark up. if i could avoid these types of companies all together i would
Tickets should be straight forward and uncomplicated and they are with moshtix, sign in to your account, remember your details, stores and sends reminders for upcoming shows you bought months ago, let's you transfer or resell if you can't go
