Bester Service. Zumindest in Österreich/Deutschland. Habe meinen Schlafsack seit 2019, mit der Zeit verlor er immer mehr Daunen, war aber sonst perfekt in Ordnung. Ich schickte ihn ein um ihn waschen zu lassen und etwaige offene Nähte reparieren zu lassen. Nachdem sie keine offenen Nähte fanden wurde er auf Garantie (7 Jahre nach Kauf) gratis gegen einen neuen ausgetauscht.

Customer service went out of their way to resolve an issue I had with a jacket. They were excellent.

Mens trousers. Quality materials but an absolutely disgraceful design flaw. If you like to wash your trousers, make sure you do the belt up before you put them in the washing machine. Unfortunately I didn't and the belt came out of its channel. I attempted to feed it through, but Mountain Equipment have this brilliant 'second channel' (which means you cannot push the belt all the way through to expose the clasp.
After an hour of repeated attempts, I ended up having to clip the clasp to a barbecue skewer and feed that through! Why oh why didn't they just make the clasp slightly bigger, or the belt channel aperture slightly smaller to ensure the belt could not slide out? The Mountain Equipment r and d team need to take a good long look at themselves in the mirror and question their credentials.

I can't compliment Mountain Equipment's cutomer service highly enough. They're friendly, attentive and respond very promptly. The return and associated refund was handled quickly and professionally and they appear commited to resolving an issue rather than pacifying the customer making the entire process stress-free. It’s rare to find such a combination of expertise and care, and Mountain Equipment truly delivers.
I’m grateful for their support and highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional service and quality gear.

FIRSTLY this review is about mountain equipment makalu jacket. Not the company i bought it from. The pockets zips are 9 inch long and the pocket is 2.5 inch deep absaloulty useless for storing anything except a map. The inside pocket is too small for a phone. This leaves one good chest pocket. the models that are showing the legnth of this are all 6 foot and above I am 5 feet 10 and skinny this is neat on me with a fleece on. If you don't have waterproof trousers the length at the front is at your groin Hence a wet the water runs off soaking your groin. In my opion a Poozers jacket. I f the company just look for good reviews thats what they will get.I couldn't find anywhere to right this review about a jacket . too much money for a poorly desiegned jacket

Really good company to deal with. Have had a number of sleeping mats, a quilt and a jacket from ME over the years and all have been brilliant. Recently had one issue with a sleeping mat that had bulged slightly and despite it being a few years since I purchased the mat(though it had only seen limited use), the warranty was honoured by the company. Samantha on the customer services team was excellent and resolved the issue with a replacement sent out directly. Most warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on, but fair play to mountain equipment for backing their products and customers.

Ordered expensive coat and wrong size was sent. They said to return and they would replace. They’ve charged me to return item. Ignored all emails did not conform they received the item. Chased several times eventually replied to email and given partial refund. No coat and not received all my money. Never ever use

needed to return a jacket with faulty zip after two years. No question. Fantastic response of offer of new jacket. Thanks team, couldn't expect more.

I ordered a pair of trousers. The delivery was attempted once at short notice and the item never delivered. I have contacted their customer services repeatedly, still no refund after 5 weeks. I am now putting in a credit card claim. Terrible!

If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Sent my jacket to be repaired, was worried it would be a naff sticker over the hole. It arrived today with a whole new panel and in awesome condition again. Thank you team ME, great service throughout - 💯 recommend and I love the kit. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Having accidently slashed one of the back panels of my down jacket I bought a 'Down & Synthetic Insulated Clothing - Single Panel Replacement' for £30 on their website.
I printed off the label and dropped it off to Post Office. It has been returned to me within 10 days with a repair so good I can barely see it. I am extremely impressed!
I have read many negative reviews but I have bought many Mountain Equipment garments over the years and they have all been excellent, as well as their email communications, which were friendly and efficient.
I continue to highly recommend them.

Hi bought high pile fleece from trekkitt in November. Starting to look shabby and bobbling on the front and sleeves no problem on the back. I’ve had a reply from mountain equipment that it hasn’t been washed correctly. I know how to wash my technical equipment in a technical wash liquid etc. what a pathetic reply

After 9 years of good use my Roller Kit Bag bag is still in good condition, but one of the wheels became damaged. I contacted support to see if any spares were available and I was kindly offered two new wheel sets free of charge. I thought it was a long-shot asking for spares and certainly didn’t expect to receive them at no cost. I can now carry on using the bag for many more years. Excellent customer service.

I was super skeptical about spending £90 on a pair of walking trousers, I’ve never spent that on any item of clothing but needed something comfortable to walk long distances in. I bought the Womens Chamois Trousers. No word of a lie, the best pair of trousers I’ve ever had. Fit me like a glove - with elastane, and what looks like articulated knees. I want ten pairs so I can wear these everyday.

My fleece jacket 10 yo, is still in pretty good shape.
My Ion Bivy - about 5 yo is still perfectly waterproof.
Couple of months ago I bought the Olympus 300 sleepingbag. I doubt that its temerature rating is accurate, but it's super compact, and together with my underquilt, its probably fine up to +5°C.
Overall good quality in my experiance. I was a bit confused over the bad reviews, but maybe quality has changed over the years.

Dreadful. My 6month old jacket is saturating in rain. ME have looked at it and say it is contaminated with a few dried on marks. They have told me to go reproof it. Don’t waste your money on this garbage.

I sent my sons coat off for repair as he put a hole in it 😡 Samantha give me a phone call to discuss the coat and she was lovely! I got the coat back in just under 3 weeks. Mountain equipment have been great the lack of communication from Royal mail is the disappointing side. It said the coat was waiting at the post office for the 1st week and a half!

I have been waiting for three weeks now to resolve an issue with delivery via DPD, it takes nearly a whole week just to receive a reply, there are no direct phone numbers to contact customer support and quite frankly they are absolutely horrendous, why is there no support for your products which cost SO MUCH?! it is an utter joke that such a big company with such expensive products, has such atrocious customer service, the online chat merely sends a message which they will never get back to, what is even the point? I would SERIOUSLY consider purchasing from their website, if you are after an item, I would urge you to buy it elsewhere from the likes or blacks etc. who actually reply to your queries! awful company to deal with.

Have a pair of Kongur MR Salopettes and Jacket that I use when working my search dog in North Wales. They are both robust and waterproof its great to know you can rely on your kit when the going gets tough!

Bought a Lthotse red jacket which cost over £300. Was a nice jacket for around 2.5 years of moderate use, dog walks, school run etc. Then I started to get damp arms despite following the care instructions on the website. After 3 years I started to get quite wet on the body and arms. As the warranty claims to last a reasonable amount of time approx 3-5 years I sent wrote to Mountain Equipment and was asked to send the jacket in for inspection. The aftersales manager wrote to me saying there was contamination on the jacket which caused the leaks and they would not be replacing or repairing the jacket, their decision was final. On close inspection it is obvious the contamination is leaking water and red dye from the jacket at the point the taped seams have failed and water had got between the goretex layers.

Do not believe there is an extended warranty. They will not replace or repair your jacket. It will not last beyond 3 years. I have a Northface jacket that is still going strong after 5 years with far more use. Not a good long term product and poor after sales care.

Spend your money elsewhere.
