Can't fault Mr Beam.
Really easy to use website. Was able to source rsj drilled and primed, delivered in 3 days at a great price.

Awful experience. We used Mr Beam for some small steels and they ended up costing us big time. The fabricator (Empire Fabrications) told us we’d have delivery Wednesday, which was 1 day ahead of schedule, great. Called them to check on the day and yeah, they were on the lorry, be with us by 5, cool ok we’ll wait around. No delivery.

Spoke to them that evening and apparently the driver had run out of time and they’d be with us early the next day. Annoying but we could make it work. I’ve now shifted site around to make sure I had guys ready to fit these steels. That morning the lady, the ONLY person in the whole company who could deal with deliveries was in meetings all morning. Got to 1pm and nothing. Finally got hold of her and oh sorry they won’t be out today, but definitely tomorrow.

I’m getting pretty wound up by this stage but I’ll play along. Friday, on the phone all morning to these people and being assured the steel is out for delivery before 1pm. It turns up at half 1 and is only half of the order?!! I’ve now had 3 days of my guys standing around doing f all waiting for these people.

Spoke to her, obviously, and finally it comes out, they never even had the steels, they were lying the whole time but for god knows what reason decided to string me along and waste my money.

The steel finally turned up the following Tuesday. They didn’t offer as much as an apology, they don’t care.

Just please avoid them, go somewhere reputable. Mr Beam have yet to respond to me either. Shame...

Website always freezes after picking a delivery address so cant even pay for the beam i wanted - not very helpful. I have used the website several times before and was an excellent service but no more service available! Ill have to look elsewhere
