For years I have shopped monthly at the shop in Bettystown for cleaning and bathroom products and stationery items for my home office, and spend about 60 Euros every time.
Recently I purchased two packs of Paper Mate pens, and returned them faulty to the sales counter today so they could review my complaint while I did my monthly shop. The young lad at the cash register said he'd "get somebody"
While shopping a scruffy looking foreign chap approached me to tell me that they were not prepared to give a refund as the pens were bought more than seven days before. It was not easy to tell this person was an employee, as generally they tend to be well presented, but he was anything but. The only clue was the scruffy fleece he wore with the Mr Price logo. His English was poor, however he clearly explained that they were not prepared to replace the items.
The issue was that not one of the 20 pens returned worked. This is a serious quality issue for any reputable brand, and would be taken seriously by any retailer who understands goodwill and consumer rights.
The manner in which I was treated at this shop was appalling. Clearly the staff were not properly trained in customer service, and obviously there was no manager around to supervise, so for now at least I'm the proud owner of a bundle of Paper Mate pens that don't work.
Thanks for nothing Mr Price.

Went to the Mr price in Drogheda located on Donore road with my kids and had an awful experience with Karl. He was very disrespectful from the moment I went to the till. I enquired about a deal in the store about 3 times and he looked with a disgusted face as if I was disturbing him and then answered in a rude manner. Then at the end he shortchanged me and when I asked to be given my change, he was very dismissive and kept repeating that he rounded the change even though on the receipt was shown the correct rounded change but he kept refusing to give it to me. While I was speaking to him he was drinking a can of something and wasn't even approaching to look at the receipt that I was trying to show him. When i asked for the change the till was open but he closed it and then said he can't open the till so can't give me the change. A lady from the store had to tell him to stop it and open the till with the card and give me the change and only then with an attitude he gave it to me. When i asked to speak to the manager he kept refusing to call the manager and then said that the same lady is the manager ( not sure if she was either because she didnt give any guidance to the process of placing a complaint against Karl but told me to go on social media and write if I wanna complain) . When I tried to tell the woman the situation, she told me if I want she can take my complaint or go online but not stand there all day and complaint about it. I then decided to return all my items and took my business somewhere else and dont plan on shopping in Mr price again. People who get hired should have basic reading and counting knowledge and definitely be capable of working with the public.

Fantastic service and very speedy delivery. Prices are excellent and the packing and presentation of my order was amazing. Lots of liquids...all perfectly secured with tape around the necks of the individual bottles. I cannot praise the packing highly enough. It was my first time to purchase from Mr. Price and it certainly won't be my last. Totally recommend,

My friends and I visited the Mr. Price jn Gulliver’s park in Santry and we’re very dissapointed in the staff and customer service there . We entered the shop at 8:40 (google says the shop closes at 9 , also stated on the shop sign) . Upon entrance the security guard told us they were closing in 10 minutes which was incorrect but understandable . Less than 2 minutes later a sales clerk approached us and told us the shop was closed … which is untrue . This shop does not abide by their closing hours and we’re not very helpful . This has happened multiple times … I think this should be addressed within the management and staff

I visited Mr Price store at Dundalk 2 Co. Louth with my grand daughter to get her some toys, she informed me that there was a special offer buy 3 items and pay for 2. I purchased 3 same items and paid for them when I got home I looked at my receipt and noticed that the third item was charged for on my receipt. I went back today and returned the three items and got my money back. I visited the shop later and acquired the 3 items again and when I went to the till the to pay for them a member of staff said that I had to pay full price for all 3, he asked me if it was displayed 3 items for 2 I said that it was all items 3 for 2. A second manager arrived and said when she checked that the items I was purchasing were on the special deal. The member of staff said he is charging full price, so I left and returned to the shop and said that I would be giving a negative review of my experience. I would recommend anyone purchasing items here to check their receipts as if I did'nt I would not have noticed this misleading statement in the store.

I'm very pleased with a backpack a got recently in Mr.Price online. It was quick delivered. The bag is very spacious and looks cool.

I placed an order online and received everything 2 days after, everything was packed very well and my daughter was over the moon for the toys she received. Will definitely order there again.

Absolutely brilliant online service.
Ordered Irish Clubmilks to be delivered to the uk. The price of the clubmilks were excellent value for money, the company did not rip me off for postage and Packing costs , in-fact they were extremely fair and better still my package arrived in 3 days to the UK.
I will definitely be using them again .
Only wish they had a bigger offering of Irish foods and of course my dream come true would be Brennans Bread .
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ five stars all the way guys

The pricing at multiple stores are often inaccurate and I wind up paying more at the till.
It is genuinely frustrating and feels very dishonest, even if it is more likely to be incompetence rather than malice. There is no excuse for inaccurate pricing at a shop which serves the general public - we expect the price on the shelf is the price paid!

Had a problem with an online purchase / moreso delivery. Reported this to Mr Price online portal & also spoke with Michael who excelled in customer service & professionalism. This was not the fault of the Mr Price product - it relates to a delivery issue.
Everything was sorted promptly and to my utmost satisfaction.
I had much better customer service than I've experienced with premier competitors. Thanks Michael & Mr Price

Bought few bits earlier around 6pm, 10th of Sept. Their discounted Price on display not matching their till. Upon review inside the car - each item against their receipt...something isn't right. Went back and explained to Ms. D****(feels like she's the Supervisor or so). She then uttered due to mixed-up as they just re-arranged displays yet for me ain't valid - it's your till Madam. Got a refund of 8.99euros nonetheless apologies un-heard. Next to me is a woman holding a receipt with same concerned as mine - price.

The retail shop's service is convenient ,I love how the staff is welcoming and how easy it is to receive receipts via emails making it easy to keep that safe as Opposed to hard copies

Was in ballincollig store Monday evening my wife picked up crisps changed her mind did not want to put them anywhere asked where they were in the store was told i don’t know wasn’t what was said but how it was said my wife has Alzheimer’s and was upset majority of staff in store great
