There are no words that can be put in writing . But to say it in one word GREAT.
A friend was provided with a list of items to fix which is no problem. Then advised they had a mate who could do the work for $1000 and it would be a guaranteed pass. I fixed the issues using brand new parts etc as listed. On the second inspection 2 days shy of the expiry of the first inspection my friend was advised it didn't pass and something was now broken from the repairs and advised there were now other issues listed. I know that can happen. Now the crunch I am a qualified A Grade mechanic with 30 years experience and I re-inspected my work and got another RWC provider to also inspect the vehicle they then passed. So what was the issue did they want another full inspection fee a kick back from a mate or what ? 2 Independent Mechanics can't be wrong.
The below explanation is generic. I have no problem with repairing what was required. I repaired the vehicle as a tradesman not a handyman nothing was wrong with the repair even getting second opinion. The vehicle was inspected by Mr Roadworthy a second time so dont get his against the law statement. Mr Roadworthy has no idea which car i am referring to either so can't make a specific call on what occured like he has. I have personally done hundreds of roadworthys so qualified to make a judgement. I am also legally allowed to go elsewhere if not satified with your integrity which your comments have justified.

The father of the business is a complete piece of work. As soon as they found I was selling the car the next day they trumped up a bunch of BS. NEVER GO HERE

I don't normally leave reviews as I am pretty easy going and let a lot of things slide. However, I need to let everyone know about these scammers so no one else gets played.
I contacted Mr Roadworthy and they sent someone to do the inspection on an 1980 Jayco Swan. The guy advised me a few things that needed fixing (which was understandable) however they said I didn't have enough numbers on my compliance plate (needed 17 numbers - apparently) so he wouldn't be able to give me a cert anyway. When I questioned him as to why I was able to purchase it previously with a rwc and not enough numbers he said "what's the meaning of life?... Sometimes the answer is 74" - what??.....
I then went to main roads and asked them what to do and they advised that I didn't need the 17 digits as the trailer is pre 90's.
There are are few more things that happened but at the risk of boredom but the final straw and $200+ later, they declined the rwc because the compliance plate wasn't BIG enough - what????
It had all the information required and needed. I ended up paying $100 to another company who gave me the rwc straight away
**Update - when I visited transport they said I had what was required. I made sure the numbers were clearly visible and correct as per the already validated registration with Queensland Transport so below reply is false
My story hasn't changed. Qld transport said I had what was required and I didn't need the 17 digits as suggested by your worker. You guys are very aggressive and unhelpful and are a sham

I think it was Michael from Mr Roadworthy Pty Ltd who was LATE but didn't introduce himself and refused to shake my hand because of "COVID"!?!?
That was a long time ago and immediately put me offside!
Then he demanded to be paid in advance before he had actually done anything!?!
I have never had any other Tradie/Contractor demand to be paid before the job is done!
So My Partner who’s car it is tried to calm me down and paid in advance.
I went and tried to explain the situation to him which took a little while given the background and he just said to me "All You Had to Say Was it Was A Repairable Write Off"!!!
So I stopped trying to inform or help him in any way and went back inside.
Then eventually he comes back with a list of things he asserts were wrong with the Car None of which came up in the Full Service we had with UltraTune in June 2024.
The only thing that had happened since was a minor ding in the Right Rear which we got Repaired.
So how that could have anything to do with most of the following I have No Idea :-
REPAIRS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE SAFETY CERTIFICATE:
Rh front shock leaking
Rh front lower control arm bush torn needs replacing
Airbag light on needs repair
Traction control light on needs repair
Tyre pressure light on needs repair
Rh rear damage behind bumper needs to be repaired or straightened out
Obviously I can understand the last one and will go back to the Repairer on that one
But otherwise I have contacted UltraTune who are very good and who will check all the rest
I would sum up my experience with Michael this way ... Customer Service is Absolutely No Part of Michael’s DNA!!! He was Late and Completely Obnoxious the Entire Time!
Go Else Where!!!

Mr Roadworthy picked up several things when doing my roadworthy test that they felt needed dealing with. I got onto it immediately however parts took 2 weeks to come and labour to install was also put back a few days. When i went to book the test again because it was outside the 14 days 21 to be exact , I was told i would have to pay the full amount again, this did not sit well with me. Buyers beware! It is not in the Queensland rules that the full amount be charged again only that the inspection be done again. I was happy to pay a callout fee and some money to check that the work was actually done, but it was all or nothing.

Could ask for a better service from Mr Roadworthy always on time used plenty off time all the boys I’ve had out are efficient and know what they’re doing.
Mr roadworthy did a roadworthy on a vehicle I bought. 4 weeks later same vehicle failed on 9 items when inspected by another roadworthy company who told me there’s no way it should have passed. Fraudulent technician and reported to TMR.

Terrible scam, unprofessional service. Didn't pass a roadworthy car
Daniel turned up on time, was very professional in his attitude, knowledge and was very polite. Thank you Daniel I will be recommending and using your service again. To all these non believers please, if they don't pass your vehicle then obviously there are roadworthy issues. If you then took it to someone else and they passed an unroadworthy vehicle for you I hope that you will stay alive long enough to regret your reviews. Thank you again Daniel for your Professionalism, hope you have a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year
I purchased a car from a very nice couple who were recommended these guys to get a RWC. Someone went out on Tuesday and said the wheels weren't good and to fix them, so they did. Same guy went out again today and said there was now a scratch on the windscreen, and the whole window needed replacing, which I know is bull. I've never had to get a RWC from anyone before, but I can already say that I do not recommend these guys.
Edit: I can almost guarantee that they would make up some fault on a brand new vehicle just so they'd get paid
Update: Please read Mr. 'Roadworthy's' reply to my review below and decide for yourself.
Initial Review:
Mr. Roadworthy is not worthy your money. That's at least our experience with a caravan inspection in QLD. The inspector faulted the van on account of suspension bushings and one brake not working. The caravan service guy we hired found no fault at all with the bushings, but both brakes not working. The follow-up inspection, done by a different company, found equally no fault with the bushings.
Most disappointing was the communication with a) the first inspector, and b) apparently the owner (he called himself Mr. Roadworthy and refused to give a name). His emails were downright threatening, like " the last guy who bad-mouthed us in reviews ended up paying $50,000 in compensation". We wasted $110 and 2 weeks time. Of course, our request for a refund was not answered.

Don't use these guys, heaps of bad reviews on there site, should have read them first.. They made sure to take my money first before starting anything, So got a roadworthy as selling my immaculate V8 to a NSW buyer , (which I didn't really need) just had been fully serviced and spent thousands by my Qld licenced Mechanic of 40 years experience to full roadworthy condition, 2 parts that were knocked back because of too much play ended up needing to have the play as there were saftey features on my vechile to help collapse if in a front end accident, proof was in the pudding so to speak as new owner got his blueslip from NSW inspection team yesterday with no issues at all especially the ones Mr Roadworthy failed, they actually were in great health.. Just a total waste of money and everyone's time,.. No wonder why I got booked in super quick all the roadworthy guys I was recommended to use were booked out for a week, says somthng right there
It's a tricky business. Sometimes I wonder whether the inspector really knows the job, and should be disqualified or not.
Booked on Monday last week. The guy Andrew spent 15 minutes looking around and 3 minutes test driving and then issued a list to fix by email. The quote from my regular mechanic was for $1,100. Without doing anything to the car, I brought it to an experienced mechanic the next morning. He lift the car up, looking around and advised with a smile that "it is in good condition'. All he did then is replacing a few bulbs for $9, test drive and issued the RWC to me, taking just half a hour.
Suggestion: Ideally bring the vehicle to a mechanic for RWC as they know the job and rule, rather than a mobile guy.
I just listened to my elderly father talk to the manager ‘Tony’ on the phone who swore at him and the customer service coming from a manager was abhorrent! No attempt to listen to my father or try to understand why he was unhappy. I don’t usually do reviews but I just can’t stand bad customer service!
I also can’t understand how the reviews on this page work, when all the recent reviews are 1 star, have a look for yourself! Do yourself a favor and use someone else!
Just had roadworthy done by Mr Roadworthy.
Turned up on schedule and was efficient and professional. Went out of the way to explain the process moving forward. Matt was the service provider. Was seamless and made what i thought would be a day exercise done in less than an hour. Highly recommend.,
Horrible experience, waste of time and money.
The manager was fraudulent, money grabbing and used foul language - go to main roads or a trusted mechanic.

Respuesta de Mr Roadworthy
Don't use this company, go to a trusted mechanic.
This company is a waste of time and money. The owner uses contractors who he doesn't even know and blames them when things go wrong. This company is a mess and has 0 morals.

Respuesta de Mr Roadworthy
Do not use this company!
poor customer service, the owner used poor language and wouldnt give me his name.
I used them origanlly to save time but in the end cost me additional time and a waste of money. The fault they (ALEX - sunshine coast)"found" in my car wasnt actaully a fault - I found this out after taking straight to my machanic and then again to main roads to have the car checked again.
After I confronted Alex he text me saying get someone else to deal with the problem. So hes taken money and not actaully provided a service.
