Unacceptable service
I unfortunately can't recommend MUD Jeans. I placed an order 17 th of June. Post Nord wrote a note that they was awaiting the parcel, bur nothing happens. After some correspondence the 4 of august I got a message, that the parcel was missing and the product out of stock, why they would make a refund. The 25 of august, still no refund and complete silence on the email. And the number they give you as personal contact doesn´t work. Completely unacceptable.

Received worn jeans. No replies from support team.
The quality of jeans I received is not what I expected: whereas jeans made from reused cotton usually differ from jeans made from brand-new fabric, my pair seemed to be worn before: patches are worn and curled on their sides (the same patches on the skirt looked absolutely normal), there are particular scuffs on jeans. They seem like old jeans with new cardboard tags applied.
Return portal, where return must be registered, does not work, and support does not reply for a while.
My previous experiences with this company was better.

Wat een vreselijke winkel
Wat een vreselijke winkel! Ze zijn geobsedeerd door hun AI-agent die e-mails binnen een fractie van een seconde beantwoordt. Maar in werkelijkheid is hun klantenservice allesbehalve efficiënt. Maar ach, wat maakt het uit? Ze kunnen mensen nog steeds misleiden met hun 'biologische' labels. En tegenwoordig kan deze trend mensen blind maken. Nooit meer.

I bought (and already have) a few jeans from MUD and the fit differs a bit, but the swappingproces is very easy in NL. The colours are nice and the jeans feel comfortable, in my experience the quality is a lot better then the big fashion chains (H&M, ZARA, ONLY, pull&bear etc.. I had a question and had some contact with customer service and they helped me very good. Would recommend, especially if you live in the Netherlands.

Addendum:
A quick search online highlights that I am not the only one facing these logistical and quality related issues.
Jeans should last for 10+ years, like my current ones - if They're designed to fail and perish to perpetuate an ongoing subscription model, that verges on a corrupt methodology.
Not one befitting of a B-Corporation company...
One extra star for trying to do the right thing, but currently you're causing more damage.
MUD seriously need to put this business on pause to address their huge issues with logistics, product quality, product longevity etc - their current business model is having a huge negative environmental impact.
Which I'm presuming, is the opposite of what they want - all of this is undermining their well meaning model and is beyond ironic.
@the CEO Please take steps to resolve this now - or it won't be long until there are articles highlighting this, then the business will fold...

First of all, I'm sorry to hear that your experience with MUD Jeans has been disappointing. We genuinely value feedback like yours because it helps us improve both our products and our service.
We discussed your question about the missing bartack with our product team. They confirmed that our jeans do have bartacks in the areas where they are normally required. In the crotch area, however, this specific model uses a felled seam (Feed of the Arm seam). Because this construction already consists of six to eight layers of fabric, it is standard practice not to add an additional bartack at that location. This is an intentional design choice and not a manufacturing defect.
We understand that this may have raised concerns about the durability of the jeans. We hope this explanation provides some reassurance that the construction of this seam follows the intended production method.
We also noticed that your review mentions concerns about our logistics, product quality, product longevity, and our overall environmental impact. We are sorry that your experience has left you with that impression. Our goal has always been to create products that last as long as possible and to continuously improve every part of our business. We know we are not perfect, but we take feedback like yours seriously and use it to keep improving.

Schwieriger Service
Die Artikel passten alle nicht, sodass ich sie am gleichen Tag zurückschickte. Die Rücksendung kam an, allerdings wurde meine Rückerstattung im Weiteren nicht bearbeitet. Auf E-Mails habe ich nur eine KI-Antwort bekommen, ohne weitere Reaktion. Nach zweimaligem Anrufen wurde mir nun alles erstattet, wobei ein Artikel, welchen ich unbeschädigt zurückgeschickt habe, als beschädigt markiert wurde. Ich hätte von alledem nichts gewusst, hätte ich nicht angerufen. Der Kundenservice ist somit in der letzten Instanz nett, man muss aber sehr eigenmotiviert den Prozess durchführen, um das Geld zurückzubekommen.

I don’t recommend buying from MUD if based in the UK.
I don’t recommend ordering from MUD if you are based in the UK.
I ordered a pair of jeans from them but decided to return them. After paying for a the return they informed me that I should also include a commercial invoice to avoid customs charges. This commercial invoice was not provided in the returns email. After 2 phone calls with customer service and multiple emails this invoice has still not been provided to me.

Order still not shipped after two weeks
I placed my order on April 14, 2026, and two weeks later the order status still says that it is being prepared for shipment. However, the website states that shipping to Germany only takes 1–2 days.
After one week, I contacted customer support. First, I had to deal with an AI bot that was unable to provide any clear information. I was then supposedly forwarded to a real support agent, but I have now been waiting another week without receiving any response.
I understand that delays can happen due to stock shortages or other issues. However, in that case, I would at least expect to be informed about the current status of my order and the reason for the delay.
Overall, the lack of communication is very disappointing.

Size guide is wrong. Quality is questionable. Shipping fees are exuberant.
The sizing guide was off for both jeans. Neither were close to fitting well. There was a definite quality difference between the 2 pairs and it felt like 1 would tear with any wear. The shipping was a third the the price of the jeans and I have to pay to ship them back as well meaning I'm out more than $100 due to THEIR poor quality control.

10 days to let me know their online stock was not trustworthy and that my jeans can't be delivered. No information about future availability, 10% discount on next purchase offered. Hoping for quick refund.

Great quality of jeans. Also good customer service: A return was lost by DPD, and MUD jeans restituded the return even though the package was not found yet.
Just be aware that you need to pay the return costs when returning items, but it’s only a small fee.

Prima broek, slechte service
Met de broek (die ik na maanden eindelijk kreeg) ben ik heel tevreden, maar met de klantenservice heb ik slechte ervaringen. Een aantal maanden geleden had ik een leasecontract afgesloten, maar de broek werd maar niet geleverd. Na een paar keer wekelijks bellen met de klantenservice was het nog steeds niet duidelijk wat het probleem was, er werd me alleen verzekerd dat er “achter de schermen hard wordt gewerkt aan een oplossing.” De laatste keer kreeg ik de belofte dat ik diezelfde dag nog een terugkoppeling zou krijgen, maar daarna werd ik wederom niet teruggebeld en heb ik maar een andere MUD-jeans gekocht in een winkel.
Later heb ik nog eens geprobeerd om te leasen. Deze broek was niet meer leverbaar, maar als compensatie kreeg ik een kortingscode (die echter niet werkte bij leasejeans). Ik gaf wonderwel niet op, en de derde poging was succesvol! Snel en zonder problemen kreeg ik mijn leasejeans. Ik ben tevreden over de broek, maar gezien mijn eerdere ervaringen lijkt het bijna alsof je bewust wordt ontmoedigd om te leasen.

Slechte klantenservice
Ik ontvang de verkeerde broek maar met wel de juiste labels eraan. Ik heb de vrijdag 30 oktober gemaild. Geen reactie. Ik heb gebeld. Wat vervelend voor u. Dit moet snel worden opgelost. Stuurt u even een mail. Ik zei, ik heb gemaild. Ik zal het even nakijken. Kan geen mail van u vinden. Stuur er nog maar een dan lossen we het gelijk op. Mijn vorige mail doorgestuurd met een nieuw bericht. Nog geen antwoord. Ik weer gebeld. Er is niemand om u te woord te staan. Ze gaf nog wel aan om mijn telefoonnummer door te geven zodat ze terug kunnen bellen. Ik had een afspraak dus dat werd lastig. Ruim anderhalve week verder en je hoort niks. De klantenservice is bar slecht. Het enige wat ik wil is de juiste broek ontvangen maar dat lukt niet. Ik moet hem nu eerst terugsturen mijn geld terug krijgen en dan weer opnieuw bestellen. Zal je zien dat hij uitverkocht is. En inderdaad ik zat te twijfelen om een aandeel te kopen maar gelukkig toch niet gedaan.

Ik had een broek die slecht uit de wasmachine kwam de eerste keer (overal slijtageplekken) en kreeg gratis een nieuwe. Daarbij was het binnen 3 werkdagen geregeld. Top klantenservice!

Totaal verkeerd product ontvangen
Vrijdag pakketje ontvangen, blijkt een totaal andere broek (ander merk) in een totaal andere maat in te zitten. Ik krijg geen reactie van het mailadres dat op de website staat en ook via chat geen reactie. Zwaar teleurgesteld.

Fantastisch concept,slechte kwaliteit. Mijn 3e paar scheurt in net boven de kontzak terwijl de maat echt de juiste is. Had ze tegelijkertijd gekocht met het idee lang vooruit te kunnen. Dat bleek net over een jaar te zijn....
