Cost Effective

Richard was very helpful. I signed up for GOLD to ensure I meet all my CPE requirements for the year since my job isn't sending us to trainings, this is a cost effective subscription that should meet my needs.

Set Up My Team

I was able to accomplish what I was trying to do, however, the timing it took to complete was longer than expected. Additionally, I saw promotional pricing to set up an annual subscription for $189 per year as opposed to $199. While trying to set up a subscription for my Firm and the others in it, I was hopeful to receive the promotional pricing since I could alternatively just have my team create accounts for themselves and I reimburse them. That wasn't an option offered, and I had decided to rather just get the team subscription set up now anyways despite the extra $30 cost. Regardless, the agent I worked with was helpful and I was able to accomplish what I was trying to do. Thank you for that.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. I sincerely apologize for the longer-than-expected time it took to complete the setup—your experience matters to us, and we appreciate your patience.

I’d also like to clarify the pricing concern you raised. The $189 promotional price was part of our Black Friday campaign and was available only to first-time individual subscribers, which was mentioned on our pricing page at the time. We did notice that a few users found this unclear, and based on that feedback, we’ve since updated the placement and visibility of the message “For first-time users only – $189 offer price” to avoid any future confusion.

I understand you had discussed this with Stacy earlier, and I apologize that this distinction was not clearly explained to you at that point. I’ve shared your feedback with her directly so we can improve our communication moving forward.

Regarding the Firm subscription, the standard price is $199, and we do not charge anything additional beyond this. There’s also no negotiation buffer built into this pricing, as the Firm plan includes substantial added value and infrastructure that isn’t available with individual subscriptions, such as:

· Centralized Dashboard & Admin Controls to manage your entire team’s CPE from one place

· Automated CPE Tracking & Reporting, reducing administrative effort and audit prep

· Ability to track CPE credits for in-house events and external/on-demand courses in one centralized system

· Single billing cycle for all users, eliminating the need to manage individual reimbursements

Despite these additional capabilities and the investment behind them, we’ve intentionally kept the Firm subscription priced the same as our Individual plan, rather than charging separately for these features.

We truly appreciate your understanding and are glad to hear that, overall, you were able to accomplish what you needed with the help of our agent. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything further we can assist you with—we’re always here to help.

I would not recommend this website

I would not recommend this website. The platform is not user-friendly, and on multiple occasions—after completing 4–5 hours of a 6-hour webinar—I encountered error messages that caused all course progress to be lost. This forced me to restart the entire course, only to experience the same issue again. This happened across several courses and regardless of the browser or device used.

I contacted customer support and opened a ticket, but even after three weeks I have received no response. Additionally, I was surprised by the automatic renewal of the subscription, which I only noticed through my bank statement. Users should be aware that this requires an active opt-out.

Broken promises

I loved the website until I had trouble with one of their certifications- Certified Tax Strategy Specialist. I completed all of the certification courses but didn't get the certificate that was promised for all of my hard work. I talked to multiple people on their staff thru live chat, email and phone over the course of 10 weeks. I emailed them copies of the individual certifcates for each course as they requested and more than one said they could see it was completed and would get it fixed. They would give me deadlines for when it would be fixed but no one ever fixed it. After 2 1/2 months of this I have finally given up on ever getting the certifcation. I will not renew my subscription with this company nor will I ever recommend their site. There are other companies with more competent customer service.

Completely unforgiving refund policy

Completely unforgiving refund policy! If you don't remember to go in and select to cancel the auto-renewal they automatically sign you up for, they won't refund, even if you request it immediately. My auto-renewal came on Christmas Day with no warning and a $70 price increase from last year; I saw it and requested a refund within hours and all they did was on the following Monday send me a link to their Terms and Conditions, which says that a failure to cancel auto-renewal is not a condition for getting a refund; the only possible reasons for refunds are tech problems on THEIR side.

The content that I did access was ok but I only used it for one 2-hour course this past year (I did use it for more in 2024), but the fact that they can't even give a personal response, just send you an email with a link to Terms and Conditions is just plain rude. Avoid!

Regarding the pricing concern, we’d like to provide some clarity. The standard price of our Gold Membership is $299. During a promotional period in 2024, it was offered at a discounted rate of $199, and you received it at an even lower price of $179 as part of a limited-time offer.

Although this offer was primarily intended for first-time subscribers, since you had been with us since 2022, we extended this benefit to you as a valued and loyal customer.

For your most recent renewal, while the standard price remains $299, your subscription was renewed at $249—meaning you still received a discounted rate of $50. Previously, you had received a larger discount of $120, and the difference you’re noticing is due to the earlier limited-time promotional pricing.

We completely understand that this may not have been clear at the time, and that’s exactly why we were hoping to connect with you directly to walk you through the details and address your concerns properly.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and would truly appreciate another opportunity to speak with you and resolve this matter to your satisfaction.
