Had excellent service having my EV tyres replaced , Mark was very friendly and helpful throughout as well as the other service guys . All so happy and friendly.

Great at first, I think the guy I dealt with (Mark,Mike?) was very good, professional, knowledgeable and straightforward.
I do feel with the afternoon second late afternoon Mechanic, I wasn’t given much indication that it would take more than a day - and was told only when I arrived to pick the vehicle by the afternoon mechanic. It did also feel the same afternoon mechanic tried to push a more expensive brand of spark plugs with no real rationale except “they were better”. I’m sure they are but I also like to understand a bit more, not being in the industry. He was friendly when I paid however. So giving good review I hope it reflects the morning mechanic, (Mark?) sorry if I got the name wrong. I work in customer service so appreciate the effort and understand surveys don’t always reflect the one who gave the service.

They left the change oil light on so now I have to take my car back there which is very far from my house and as for permission from work.

Efficient and easy to book.

I wasn't charged for this appointment! Totally out of the kindness of his heart.
The issue with my car wasn't able to be resolve, Mark diagnosed what was wrong with it and told me a quote for the repairs. I asked him honestly what would your advice be and he said if it were his car he wouldn't bother fixing it (the repairs cost more than the car is worth at this point). So when I asked what I owed for the diagnoses/his time he said don't worry about it. Which was very kind.

I asked to leave the car there for 4 days because it was more convenient for me to pick it up later in the week, and he said that was totally fine too.

Also, about a year ago, I had an issue with my driver's side window - basically there was something up with the electrics and it wouldn't open/close. Mark looked at it for around 30-40 minutes, took it apart, concluded that it wasn't a simple fix and it would need a new part. This happened until a bit after 5.30 when they close, and he didn't charge me for his time then either "because he wasn't able to fix it"

Additionally, having free roadside for a year because I had my car serviced there in Jan 2025 was extremely helpful in this situation where it needed to go to the mechanic.

They were so polite and helpful and were honest and thorough and diagnosed my car well and helped me sort the issues I had and made a plan to fix the other issues with my car. I would recommend the service to anyone who needs help.

I've previously reviewed the excellent service I received from Mark and his team at this store, over many years, when purchasing new tyres.

However, I was bowled over by the follow up service my partner received yesterday after having an upsetting accident and damaging her 5mths old tyre.

I rang Mark first up and he was immediately responsive, saying that - although they were very busy at the time - if she brought it in they would see what they could do.

When my partner arrived, Brandon attended to her immediately. He examined the tyre and explained why it would need to be replaced. Mark then discovered that he had one identical tyre left and that they would squeeze her in, there and then, if she was happy to wait.

To have such friendly, responsive, prompt and efficient service in such circumstances is really remarkable in itself and fully warrants a 5 star review.

The icing on the cake was to discover that, under their 12mth Mycar hazard warranty, the tyre would be replaced absolutely free!

However, what made this whole interaction special to both my partner and me was the personalised nature of the service she received. It's been my experience, over many years, that Mark and his team always deal with you as a human being first and as business second. And they are always trying to look after you as best they can.

When my partner and I later reflected on her experience, we were both incredibly grateful for the extraordinarily prompt and efficient service. But - more than this - we were touched by the simple goodness of their personal responsiveness and friendliness throughout. It lifted our spirits for the rest of the day, which made all the difference.
