Non Existent Customer Service
I must start off with saying I was a loyal customer and supported my Perfume Shop on many occasions. I purchased 5 items in this transaction and 3 of the 5 items I received where not what I ordered off the website. Please can anyone explain to me how a customer can be wrong when you receive items that do not look the same as ordered on the website or as shown on the invoice. I tried calling both numbers displayed on their website with no success. In my email I asked that someone from My Perfume Shop please call me and further explained with images of what was displayed on their website and what I received. I received an email but no call. In the email they explained that their marketing division posted the wrong photos but that the perfume in the bottle is the same even though the look of the bottle is not the same. I love collecting miniature perfumes and I buy miniatures because of the look of a bottle and not for the contents inside the bottle. Again I asked My perfume shop not to dismiss me but to please call me as I again tried to call the two numbers without success. Is it too much to ask as a customer? Maybe what upset them is that I asked “are these originals”. Without any further explanation they said they would organise to collect the items. Again I asked them to call me before they send anyone to collect because out of principle I felt that they should reimburse me for the entire purchase, with some proof of payment. Again no call, but the courier company arrives at my doorstep to collect. Obviously because I did not receive a call or explanation as to what they were collecting, I sent the courier company away. They now sent me another email, since sending the courier company away, saying they cannot refund me unless they inspect the items. I am not prepared to send the items back because I have read many reviews on different media saying that they have had problems with refunds. Companies either practice and understand customer service or they don’t. My Perfume Shop clearly don’t have a clue. Everything seems great until it’s not!
Be careful with them
Bought expensive fragrance for my fiancé. The scent disappears within an hour.. I logged a complaint but no reply...I won't stop until I get my refund.
One star is generous
One star is generous. Not only are they a complete scam they then try and get you to stop the chargeback with your bank. Told me that my Christmas order had left Dubai warehouse, then told it was held up with customs. Next lie (so called update) was stock issues, but previously it had already left warehouse is Dubai. Don’t believe a word they tell you. Get into your bank and start a dispute ASAP. Do yourself a massive favour and stay clear! Scammers, had no intention of sending my order, customer service gives a different excuse every time you email. Thank god I contacted my bank and they can get my funds back.

This was the only place I could find a perfume I was looking for. Great service and was stoked when my perfume turned up.
Note: it does take longer for delivery if it requires pre-ordering, but is worth the wait.
False advertising
Really poor, they wait until they take your money only to then advise you that your items are on a pre-order. They falsy advertise in stock, but its not. No cancellation option, and no update on a due date. I won't use them ever again - a poor first time customer expereince.

Poor customer service and dishonest trade
When purchasing, I didn't realise there was a delay in dispatch. About three weeks later, I received a tracking email, but it took at least a week for it to be picked up. Then, when it was received, two of the products were pungent. One batch number was nearly five years old, the other about 18 months. When I suggested that the perfume didn't smell as it should, I was first offered a credit note and asked to keep the perfumes. Why would I want a credit note, AND keep perfumes I can't wear. I was then refunded one and told there was nothing wrong with the other. I asked many times for an address to send it back, but they continuously ignored this request. No matter how many times I said the perfume was not fit for purpose, they replied that the batch date said otherwise, which questioned my honesty and integrity as a customer. I took the perfume to my local store, and they smelt it too in comparison to the one on the shelf. They agreed it was very different and not the quality the brand portrays. A bad batch, poorly stored, or just a fake perfume. Buying online when you live in a rural area should be easy. I am 56 years of age, and have many years of experience wearing good quality perfumes. 'My Perfume' couldn't care less about its customers. I will never buy from them again.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience this time.
Shopping with MyPerfumeShop Australia has been extremely disappointing.
I placed an order around 12th July 2025, and since then, I have received no updates whatsoever. The website only shows an expected delivery window of 20th–27th July 2025, but there is no tracking information or order details available.
I have tried contacting them numerous times calling well over fifty times on different days. Unfortunately, their phone line never connects; it only goes to an answering machine. I also emailed them requesting an update, but I have not received any response.
As of now, I still have not received my order, any delivery updates, or any correspondence from their team.
This has been a completely frustrating and disappointing experience, and it leaves me questioning the legitimacy of this website. I truly hope no one else has to go through such a disastrous experience.

I originally placed my order on June 24th with an estimated delivery date of July 6-13. When this timeframe came and went without a shipment going out, I requested a refund. I was told I wasn't able to cancel a pre-order until 30 days after placing the order and only if the product had not yet shipped. When that day came and went, I requested refund again. I was told that if it didn't go out in the next 2 days, I could request the refund. Then, I received an email that the preorder was received at their facility and would ship in the next 1-2 days. That was 7 days ago. We'll see how they respond to my latest email, which is the only contact method they offer. I can only deduce, that this site is a scam.

What ever you do, do not buy from this company. I have been scammed. It’s been 2 months and I haven't received my product. Every email I’ve sent in regards to this matter they would respond with empty promises. This company has lead me on every week. Each week with a different excuse and still no product. The latest response a week ago was that my product has arrived in nz and that they are unpacking the items at there warehouse and will ship it in 2 days. Then today 1 week later emails back and says it hasn’t arrived in nz yet sorry for inconvenience. Pure scam. Do not buy from my perfume shop. You will only be dissapointed and let down. They stole my money.

I placed an order with My Perfume Shop expecting delivery by 28/5, as clearly stated on their website and invoice. Later, I was informed that my order was actually a preorder and would be delayed. This raised suspicion, so I tried repeatedly to get updates via email and WhatsApp, but their contact numbers didn’t work.
After sending multiple emails, I finally received a rude and dismissive reply from someone named Lenka, who accused me of spamming their inbox and delaying their response. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she offered to cancel my order and told me to order elsewhere, signing off as the “Chief Happiness Officer.” This attitude is completely unacceptable.
I never got any tracking information, and their handling of my order and communication was appalling. I have requested a refund and will be watching closely to see if it is processed on time.
I do not recommend this shop due to their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and outright rude customer service.

Order continually exceeded delivery time. Tried to cancel to get a refund. They ignored requests to cancel and are now disputing the refund that Mastercard provided. Don't waste your time and money.

Guys please beware of ordering from this company. This is total SCAM. On their website they show the product as available or give you a certain date for pre order items but you actually never get the product. I placed the order on 20th Feb and I was given a delivery date of 5th March. After that they sent an email saying the goods have arrived at auckalnd warehouse and will be shipped and email confirmatuon will be sent once the order is shipped. NO EMAIL CAME. I followed up one day before the delivery date only to be told that items will not be shipped until the following week. This is the second week and still no products. Their customer service person told me either to cancel the order or order will be shipped early next week(THIS WAS LAST WEEK).NO UPDATE STILL ALL THEY SAY IS BASICALLY IF YOU CANNOT WAIT CANCEL YOUR ORDER. PLAESE THINK TWICE BEFORE ORDERING. IT IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE AND HEADACHE. JUST COMPLETE FALSE INFORMATION PROVIDED
