Fantastic Car

Good car buying experience from start to finish. The original call to the dealership was informative and i was given all the information to help me make the 100 mile journey from London.

I took a train and arrived at the local train station and was kindly picked up by the Salesman and taken to the premises.

I was shown the Audi A6 and it was as described in the advert. The vehicle was well prepared and i instantly knew i wanted the car.

The finance application was submitted and i was driving away in under an hour and a half.

The car has been as good as gold since ive had it. I had a minor issue with a sensor which aftersales quickly resolved under the warranty.

In conclusion i can say i received a good service, fantastic car and great aftersales.

Would highly recommend if youre in the market for a new car.

We had a positive experience from start to finish. The team was knowledgeable which made the whole process feel straightforward and pressure-free. Arranging a test drive was quick and easy, and we felt confident enough to place a deposit on the spot.

Unfortunately, we were later informed that finance options weren’t available for us. While that was disappointing, the way it was handled really stood out. I requested a refund, and our refund was processed promptly—even over a bank holiday weekend, which we really appreciated.

Overall, although things didn’t work out this time, the service we received was great. We wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future if the right car comes along.

Solutions found anxiety reducing

I have been quite nervous about faults on my car, they have been so accommodating and reassuring and helping me access solutions and fixing at no extra costs it has been worth the drive from Southport to Birmingham to work with them, thanks to their AA warranty. Thank you for the warm welcome and reducing anxiety, with giving me the answers to my problems. Especially Gareth Anderson

READ BAD REVIEWS BEFORE GIVING THEM ANY MONEY!!! We did but too late, never again!

Honestly I would 100% tell absolutely everyone that will listen to avoid this company at all costs!! I tried to buy a Mercedes car from them, 1st red flag, they don’t have a card machine so everything has to be done by bank transfer or card payment using a link. 2nd red flag you get absolutely no paperwork for anything! 3rd red flag you speak to a lovely sales person (ours was Patrick) then the closer you’re supposed to be getting to collecting the car (still with zero paperwork) you get a phone call from an accounts person who isn’t quite so nice (ours was Maz) and throws nothing but problems with absolutely every part of your purchase. 4th red flag which was the ultimate step too far we had confirmation from 2 banks to say the money had been sent to the dealership on the Friday, supposed to collect the car on the Sunday (still zero paperwork!) and Maz tells us the money hasn’t arrived from our banks! It 100% HAD arrived. We then had to start the process of calling back the money from our banks plus trying to get the £250 deposit refunded. I work in customer service and absolutely never shout at anyone but in the end I literally had to keep phoning on a loop and threaten to call every half hour until my money was refunded. The biggest “coincidence” with this whole complete nightmare was that running along side this purchase that never happened, my card details were used several times to purchase helicopter trips in New York from FlyNYON which when reading their reviews also seems to be a scam company! I am not saying that my card was cloned by NCH, BUT as that was the only time my card was used that week, that also seems like a “coincidence”. So I got my £250 back but lost £1000 which I’m struggling to get back from my bank. On the day I was supposed to collect the car from NCH (which is a 6 hour round trip) I travelled 1 hour to Newcastle, saw a car I liked, put a deposit down using a secure card machine and collected it the following Wednesday. Unfortunately the mess that has been created by NCH is still causing issues now. Read the reviews, especially the bad ones as we didn’t until it was too late! We have purchased vehicles from the opposite side of the Uk and never once had an issue, this dealership is honestly the worst experience we’ve ever had!

I bought a Mercedes A Class from…

I bought a Mercedes A Class from National Car Hub a month ago and I love it!! Its got heated seats, Apple Carplay and its super economical.
Customer service was fab and Abby really knew what she was talking about.
I can get quite overwhelmed when it comes to cars and technical stuff but everyone was so lovely and really helped me out.

I’ve had a fantastic experience with National Car Hub. This is the second car I’ve purchased and it’s been as good as gold. I had a little issue with a sensor that was faulty after about 3 months - I called the team at National Car Hub and they resolved everything for me as a matter of urgency

I can’t fault the buying experience or the after sale experience. I would definitely recommend to all friends and family. Thank you everyone at National car Hub.

Traveled down from Glasgow and before i…

Traveled down from Glasgow and before i headed down i asked some questions about the car,was air con working etc got told yes to every question I asked. Turns out it wasn't £600 out of pocket straight away. Mirrors weren't folding properly got asked to send a quote which i did. I then said sorry quote was for the glass only. They only refunded me for the quote of the glass so again another £200 out of pocket. Boot liner was missing,at the time I didn't notice it but phoned the next day and was told car was sold as seen. They also done a terrible touch up of the car where needed and one was done in grey paint even though the car was white,the worst one was a spot on the roof and first wash i did after buying revealed a big spot of rust which is going to cost me £300 so total out of pocket so far is £1100.If you dare buy a car off these amateurs then go over it with a fine tooth comb as there not interested after they have got the money. Communication is non existent i had to keep chasing these cowboys up and the response is i was just about to phone you. The valet must also be done by Stevie Wonder as I had to go over a lot of the car. Personally I would avoid at all costs!

It is difficult to understand the level of apathy this company has towards it’s customers. Especially once they have your money.

It is a story of constantly delayed deliveries. Cars that wouldn’t pass a MOT test on delivery, missing paperwork and evasion.

Long story short, NCH agreed to a full refund. But only after providing them with overwhelming video evidence and a detailed report from the vehicle main dealer.

The main dealer report confirmed the car is not roadworthy and hasn’t been for quite sometime. Yet somehow the vehicle was delivered to me with a current MOT certificate dated three days earlier?

After serving NCH with the very real possibility of legal action. It got them moving….eventually. A date and time was agreed to get a full refund completed. But even then they did everything they could to delay, deny and inconvenience. Although they did pay in the end.

Let me be clear. The whole methodology and operating procedure is not incompetence, laziness or irrational. It is a strategy that is being tactically executed. Designed to deny you your rights, keep your money and frustrate you into submission.

Whilst I have been in this absolute mess with NCH, I have become aware of two elderly couples who are also embroiled in this nonsense. Proving NCH even treat the elderly with this level of disrespect.

I beg you, please do not buy ANYTHING from NCH. It is likely to end in disappointment, frustration and financial loss.

Trust nobody from NCH. You will know when they’re lying, because their lips will be moving.

If you do decide to buy from NCH. They will try to make you pay via Atoa (or possibly another payment platform). WHATEVER YOU DO….make at least part payment by credit or debit card. At least then you have some form of financial protection.

Avoid!!!

Avoid this place at all costs! Sold me a car with a safety recall outstanding which is illegal and also left the previous owners belongings in the glove box including a pill tray which had prescription medication in.
I paid the deposit for a ford kuga hybrid on Tuesday and collected it on Thursday as they were going to do a MOT on it. On the day i collected it they told me the car had no logbook and that they had to tax it. They wanted my bank details to send to 'some guy' who would go to the post office and tax the car. I didn't feel comfortable handing out my bank details so they said I could transfer them the money and tax it. About 30 mins later they brought me the car keys and a photo of the receipt from the post office and said I was all done and good to go. No walk around the car to make sure I was happy. Something just seemed off. I got home and was looking around the car.. I realised the charging cable and the parcel shelf was missing. And when I looked in the glove box there was someone else's belongings in there including fuel cards, a dirty face mask, an envelope with someone's name and address on, a keyring with a child on and the pill box with prescription medication which was highly dangerous. I dread to think what could have happened if my young daughter had got hold of them. I phoned them straight away and told them about the missing items and what I had found in the glove box. They said they would speak to the team and get back to me. I waited a few hours and phoned again. They still said they were waiting for them to get back to him. Didn't hear off them that day. So the next morning I went back to them. Spoke to the sales manager. There was no apology for the missing items and the car not being thoroughly checked and cleaned prior to the sale. He passed us onto the aftersales team. The after sales manager came to speak to us. After some discussion she gave us the charging cable, ordered a new parcel shelf and agreed to pay for a full valet. Again no apology about the items in the glove box and didn't even offer to take them off us.
That night I put my car on charge but it wasn't working. We googled it and it said the car might have a recall so I went on the gov website where it said the car had a safety recall. I phoned Ford the next day who confirmed the recall was due to the battery.
I took the car straight back on saturday for a full refund. Again I was met with the after sales manager who asked how I found out about the recall. I told her you can check on the gov website. She was very rude. Just kept walking off with her phone when I was still speaking to her. I told them I wanted a refund today and was told I couldn't have a refund because it was Saturday and that I would have to wait until Monday. I stood my ground and said I wanted the refund that day as I'm not driving the car again with a safety recall on. I told her to phone her manager as I'm not leaving without a refund. She came back 5 minutes later and told me they will give me a full refund if I email my account details to the aftersales team. She then asked for the keys and paperwork which my husband passed to her and she started to walk off. I told her she can leave the keys with me until the money was back in my account. She rolled her eyes and aggressively threw back the keys and paperwork.
So if you are thinking about buying a car from national car hub then think again. They are an absolute disgrace and their customer service skills are something else. They clearly don't care at all. Not one single apology from any of the team we spoke to. And if they do try and fob you off saying they can't give you a refund on a weekend then don't take no for an answer because they absolutely can.
