I had good experience. Only one problem is when I booked they said they will come at my address to fix. However on the day to fix, they said I had to take the vehicle to the centre.

I really don't understand how this…
I really don't understand how this company operates. you don't pay your excess to the insurer, you pay to national windscreen. Who dont let you know there is a balance until they send a final demand letter you have 7 days before collection. Normally you start off with sending an invoice, then if a period of a month passes then move on to final demand 7 days. seems a bit shady.

Little choice of location
I did not appreciate having to make a 30-mile round trip to have my windscreen replaced. You don't seem to have the number of locations that you used to have.
However, once there, I found the service to be very efficient.

“I was not satisfied with my windscreen…
“I was not satisfied with my windscreen replacement from National Windscreens. The windscreen is not cracked, but it appears wavy, which is noticeable when washing the car and affects visibility. I contacted National Windscreens and booked an appointment at the nearest repair unit in Swindon to have it checked. After inspecting it, the staff told me that this is how the windscreen is and that if it were replaced again, it would be the same. I didn’t know what else to say, as this explanation was disappointing. The staff were professional, but overall I was unhappy with the outcome and had no option but to leave it as it was.”

Done quickly and efficiently
Done quickly and efficiently. Team were good at the branch. My only small negative is that the windscreen makes more of a squeaking noise than before - not sure if the fit is as good as the original.
