WORST EXPERIENCE EVER as a teacher

Do NOT work here as a tutor.. I fell for it a couple of years ago before starting my own business. They treat you like trash and the students are the rudest.. you have a ring of bullying teenagers, ALWAYS hiding their faces, who will target you; one in the morning shift and the next in the evening, then next day same old .... The management are like vermin.. they immediately deactivate your account when you reach 4.84 because apparently 96.5% score isn't good enough .. imagine refusing a hotel because it's ONLY 9.6 and not 9.7..who does that?.. only petty people! Then when you're account is deactivated, you have to beg to admin to send you the form so you can then beg to management with your plan of action so it won't happen again, BUT THEY'LL NEVER tell you WHO OR WHAT the complaints are from or over, so you have to write down every nasty student and then give the long ess lesson number, and a bunch of details, as if your psychic guessing who!
When I used to teach Japanese students on another site, they were usually very polite but it wasn't uncommon to hear them telling me they're forced to do overtime, even 84 hours in ONE WEEK! I've found this mentality across over half a dozen Asian countries I've travelled to.. work people like slaves and pay them peanuts!

Dirty tricks Native Camp plays.

Having been on Native Camp for a few years now I've become very alert to shenanigans pulled by their IT team on native speakers who aggressively take lessons to try and earn a decent income. Decent; not great, large, etc.

There are many dirty tricks played on teachers to prop up non-native speakers but we'll focus on one today.
We enlisted the aid of a cyber team to monitor the ip address of NC to see if there's been any disconnections in the telemetry.

What they found was NC actively sending a signal which would disconnect the teacher/tutor from the online classroom.

Native Camp doesn't want loyal, hard working teachers, the risk-reward isn't worth wasting time on.

I worked as a tutor for native camp

I worked as a tutor for native camp. It promises $8-$10 for a 25 minute lesson, however that is only if you get booked. Students on the platform do not book though, they do "spontaneous lessons" which you only get paid $4 per 25 min lesson for. To do a spontaneous lesson you go on "stand-by" and wait for students. I usually wait at least 2 hours before I get assigned a student. If you are waiting you can not move away from your PC as a lesson could start any time without warning.
Some days I will be on stand-by with no students for hours and hours. It is a complete scam.
Also you only get paid once you have made more than $30, and that gets sent to a "payoneer" account, which only lets you withdraw money after you have received $50. Total scam

It is a shame that Native Camp Japanese offers such bad customer service

This is a review for Native Camp Japanese. I am sad to give such a low score to a company that I think is doing a great job to providing affordable lessons to students and an easy employment outlet for many teachers.

I signed up for Japanese and was offered one month for free, then I got charged 200 dollars for the next month. I was charged before the date indicated on my profile page, which upset me a bit due to the lack of sincerity and also since I was not willing to pay that 200 dollars and was planning to pay as I went along with classes.

In the meantime, I messaged customer service twice but they never got back to me. I did not ask for a refund. What I asked was if there was another scheme I could pay for. I think 200 dollars is a bit expensive for me, so I wanted to know if there was a way to pay per booked class. They never replied to me.

I still wanted to use Native Camp so I looked through their website and found the option to buy coins which you exchange for lessons. Even though there is a list of coin offers and you can buy packets with different prices, the moment you click on any of those packets, it takes you to the same page where you are asked to sign up for 200 dollars a month.

I tried various links and also tried their FAQ section to try and buy those coins, but time and time again, I just got sent to the same page.

Eventually I just quit Native Camp and signed up with a different online company that allows you to pay for the number of lessons you are comfortable with.

I am very sad about this, because I honestly liked the teachers on Native Camp and had got to know some of them pretty well. But it is impossible to buy the classes and also there is no customer service. I don't know why and how they can ignore their clients this way.
