Unexpected experience

I visited the branch on Milos island and the experience was awesome.
Ioannis, the manager, his total focus is on the customer. He helped my husband to complete a transaction on the ATM machine plus answered all our questions. This experience was totally unexpected. I would genuinely like to say a huge thank you.

I call this bank in Navplio were I'm a customer because my wife forgot her phone in the agency. I tried to explain the problem in greek, but the girl at the telephone didn't understand. So, I'm ask if she speaks a little bit english and she answers me "no". I ask then if another person can speak english in the agency and again she answers me "no". I try to do my best to be understanded, 'cause in fact I come from Belgium and I speak french. It's ridiculous, because the foreigners let earn the greecian's banks money too. Oh... Sorry for my english : Mais si vous voulez, je suis prêt à donner d'excellentes leçon de français !

Poor service. Avoid

Extremely poor service especially when living and/or travelling abroad. Rigid procedures, no solutions provided, questionable and often contradictory advice, responsibility assigned to the customer, a foreign country(!), shop owners(!), basically anybody else but the Bank.
Similar torturous experiences on two separate occasions.
Avoid, if you can.

Customer service non existent

I have been waiting for one hour and a half to receive assistance abt an online payment with my card. Every person that picked up the phone passed the call to another one. The line fell twice. Eventually, at abt 8 pm I made it through the identity verification, then the employee put me on hold and probably left the office and went home. Literally impossible to receive any help from anyone here. I work as a customer service advisor for a bank too, so I know the job. I think the level of their service is just ridiculous.

Customer Service is nowhere (literally) to be found.

Following three failed attempts for someone to pick-up at their customer service, with an average waiting time of 50' per call, I must say that I am disappointed.

Their values of "...Placing the customer in the center of the business.." does not stand with the way they currently act and treat their customers. When I reported the extensive waiting time, I got a generic automated response from their system saying that I should send them an email and wait another 4-5 working days.
It is not a decent practice, to treat customers in that manner.

Unsolicited charges

They started charging us for the renewal of an expired debit card. There was no alert before.
The CC response was inadequate: there was a notification in ATMs - which I never use and the only way to get a refund is to return the card at at physical branch - in the middle of a pandemic.

NBC. The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever.
No answer to emails. An answer at FB to call a telephone number. I called the number, go to a branch.
I only like to have answered a very simple question. I am going to inform my employer also about this.
The worst experience I have had with CS.

This Greek bank has some good employees (usually under 35 y.o.) and LOTS, LOTS of rude, very rude employees which hate you only because you exist , only because you are standing infront of them asking for anything ….. if you ever Need their Services, try to speak with the youngest of the personnel….
