I was supposed to have my meter changed between 8 and 12 but no one turned up so I phoned them and after being on the phone for 30 minutes I get told my appointment was cancelled but they don't know why. So the useless idiots basically wasted my entire morning. Now they're saying they can't give me appointment just yet so they will call me back to book one.

I wanted to take the time to leave this review because I was absolutely taken aback by the fantastic customer service Stephen Powell (Gloucestershire Area) provided this morning when he replaced my very, very, old water meter underneath my sink.
Stephen was such a great guy — friendly, professional and with such a positive attitude. It was genuinely refreshing to experience such great customer service, especially these days.
Thank you, Steve, for making what could have been a very ordinary job such a pleasant experience. Have a great day!

Had a leaflet through my door to advise that Network plus were going to install a water meter at my property. I phoned hem to advise that I had neither requested this nor wanted it, only to be told it was a fait accompli and there was nothing I could do 'cause the meter is on the pavement outside. They arrived three days later and I'm still trying to work out whether they're not equipped with a broom or simply wouldn't know one end of it from the other. Phoned their call centre to ask if they thought that the work was supposed to be complete and received the promise of a phone call back. "How long do you think that will be? I asked. "Oh, they're normally pretty quick" was the answer. That was two weeks ago. Say no more.
Applied for a water meter in October 2025. It's still not sorted. Many calls saying that the appointment needs to be cancelled, usually blaming the council when it's not the council's fault. The engineers who have come say completely different things to what the office says. A string of contradictory excuses, at least one of which I can prove to have been a lie. The problem is that they won't put anything in writing and hide behind the water company. They have wasted so much time and money avoiding doing this job that it is unbelievable. No wonder that our water bills are so high.

Terrible experience i had , going through a tupe with them from mgroup promised us everything ,new starter packs ,one in one interviews, starting date, everything, then decided then to 2nd tupe out to sub contactors , a month before Christmas and was made redundant.
Water meter needed replacing but our stop tap was seized. Chris Jennings came out to do the work, he phoned in advance, turned up on time and wasn’t phased by a difficult job in a very tight space. He was friendly and polite and used his obvious experience to get the job done quickly. I’ve had less happy experiences with Network Plus but give them credit for taking note of my complaint and for then sending out such an excellent engineer to resolve the problem. Thanks.
They were supposed to be coming to fix a leak and just didn’t turn up or let us know they weren’t coming. I waited in all day with a newborn baby. I then call and let them know that we want to postpone the work as we are due to have a skip delivered for some work in the house. They tell me it’s fine because they are coming and getting it all done in the day, assuring me this includes the hole being filled in. They turn up a week later at 2pm and do the works but the hole isn’t filled in despite the reassurances and we still can’t get the skip delivered, delaying all our work. The public road has also been left so narrow that cars are having to mount the pavement to get through. I call up to try and expedite the hole being filled in and customer service tell me someone will get back in touch soon - I am yet to hear anything by the end of the day.
Awful experience, after tupe from another company, after promising you everything, and making everyone redundant 3 weeks before Christmas,.
Just came on our street to reinstate repair on road after water leak. Impressed by the efficiency and attention to detail. Good to see such organisation with the custom engineered heavy grab lorry with hiab . All tools 🧰 stored on vehicle. Top marks. 10
Had multiple appointments with no one seemingly communicating with eachother. They make getting a water meter the most insufferable experience.
0 stars given !!!! Appalling customer services , after a worker came out to fit a new water meter which he said he couldn’t do because he couldn’t turn off the stop tap outside he then proceeded to put back my kickboards on damaging them in 4 places in the process . Someone else came out 2 days after , said the stop tap was working fine! Have been trying to get a resolution to fix my kickboards which he damaged with no luck . All I get is they have got to escalate it with their manager ! Taking this further !!!
I cannot recommend Network Plus in any way – 1 star is generous. They carried out metering work for Severn Trent Water at my propert in May and December 2025: removed a Warix loop, installed a new stop tap, and relocated the meter to the boundary box.
The new stop tap started leaking badly within months, losing up to 100 litres per day according to Severn Trent's own records. This caused significant internal water damage to my home.
My own home insurance had to step in for repairs, and I paid a £750 excess. Their assessors described Network Plus's installation as "sloppy workmanship" and refused to guarantee it would last even 12 months, so they removed and replaced most of it.
I raised a formal complaint months ago (contacted in January 2026, was told someone was handling my case – then silence). Despite this, nothing was done to fix the issue or compensate for the damage/costs.
Yesterday (2 March 2026), they finally called – but only to try and close the complaint down without resolving anything.
No offer of repairs, no reimbursement of my £750 excess, no admission of fault, no remedial work.
Just an attempt to make the issue go away.
This is unacceptable customer service from a company working on behalf of a major utility like Severn Trent. Poor quality installation, zero accountability, endless delays, and now pressure to drop the complaint un fixed. If you're dealing with Network Plus for any metering or utility work – think twice. They left me with damage, out-of-pocket costs, and frustration.
Avoid if possible.
Absolutely apalling company, i have had the worst experience with them. They installed a water metre outside my property without any notice which then caused my room to leak. This room had been leaking for over a month. Originally didn’t think it was them until we paid for a plumber who told us to contact network plus. Got in contact with them and they sent engineers round to come and check who confirmed the leak was due to the water metre they installed. Was told a digging team would need to come round and fix it. Was then informed they had no digging team and this was referred back to severn trent who sent their digging team. Was told a digging team was dispatched on the day and nobody arrived which i then had to chase customer service team for. Regardless of having a massive leak caused by them i had to wait another few days before the dig team came. Engineers came and told me they had fixed the leak. Following from this we used a dehumidifer and industrial fan provided by disaster solutions to dry up the room. I managed to dry the whole room up and the next day i come to see the water being flooded everywhere. Again, had to contact customer service team who sent out an engineer two days later after being told a team would be dispatched on the same day. (Never arrived) Nevertheless, engineer came round and checked it and told us leak hasn’t been fixed properly. A day later, network plus advised they didn’t have a dig team to send out even though they are the ones who caused the leak. Severn trent dig team were then sent out who came and actually completed the job properly. Was told by engineers the previous engineers didn’t actually fix the leak but tightened the pipe rather than replacing the metre. This has been ongoing for 3 weeks and i have had to call every single day of the week to chase for this job to be completed. Almost three weeks later it is now done no thanks to network plus. They refuse to take any accountability and despite explaining the impact it was having on me as a disabled individual there was still no urgency or attentiveness from them. Due to the leak so many of my clothes and furniture had been damaged. The room is a total wreck and it has been horrendous living in these cold wet conditions especially during the peak of winter. The situation had caused me to become ill. Honestly they are absolutely catastrophic. Although the leak is fixed now, i have been left with the responsibility of drying the room which will take another week. Ontop of that due to the leak my water bill is going to be affected. They have caused so much stress and inconvenience and i wish i never have to deal with them again. Will be looking to take them to the CCW/ombudsmon if they do not compensate and rectify for everything they have caused.
Dont expect any customer care from Friday 7pm onwards until they open again Monday, spoke to one lady who promised to call back to let me know when on call team we're coming, never happened, rude and ignorant. Absolutely shocking .
Ill never understand how companies seemingly allow reviews to get to there negative status as this, clearly not bothered, , simple fix, don't employ them.
Had a message digging crew will be early no digging crew.electrician comes 12pm can’t do work says it’s the 2nd time today ,digging crew turn up 4pm digs hole after I have to tell them where next day Daryl the electrician does his job tells me he is leaving the company because this happens all the time, and had to do his own digging to get his jobs done.3 days later still waiting for the hole to be filled.I have never known a company so disorganised.all you need is a rota system.
This might start off being be a mixed review, but hang in there - I had had bad experiences with Network Plus in the past so I was a bit triggered when my fibre was collateral damage in work for a neighbor.
I've made private apology to Dale, Dan and rest of his field team; this is a public apology. I was an d***head on Monday - no excuses for my unprofessional behavior even if I was trigged.
But here's the good news.
When I got to someone (Catherine) - we had a great conversation and Catherine, Dale and Dan worked with Gigaclear to fix the fibre ASAP.
Could we have avoided the issue in the first - maybe, that would need support from Network Plus's customers (SSE).
Did Catherine and her field team work with me to sooth and ultimately make good - yes in a very professional way. Wish I'd shown such professionalism on Monday...
I'll be interested to see how the next interaction goes.
I'm giving them 4/5 because while in theory I think more could have been done up front to minimise the issue, I'm also not sure if it could in the current regulatory contracts.
Absolutely shocking companie who they sub the work out to called “complete infrastructure”based in nanpean in st Austell..who employeys people who don’t even have tickets for machines a streetworks and Cscs cards all the basics you need to work in the industries.and they no about people on drugs driving machines and vans and turn a blind eye to it aslong as they get the work done, and they try get away with getting people to work for a week or so and laying them off without paying them so basically free labour!!! This is just the start of it… the obscene messages conversations I’ve screenshotted with conversations with the boss from this company after not paying wages! It’s actualy quite comical how the guys in charge.. i worked here… the boss is telling the blokes on site to put electric cables in the ground with not even any sand underneath it to protect the cables just to save on cost…sooo many things that was wrong on that company that I’ve got a big list for!!!
Absolute joke of a company. Cowboys the lot of them.
Sent letter out with vague details of work, stating that someone would contact us to discuss the works, nothing happened, no one turned up. Day of the works big trenches being dug, completely destroying my garden. No communication from Network plus, only the workers on site who were good and polite by the way. Say this happens all the time they turn up and home owners have no idea of the work being done and not communicated properly.
Complained, asking for compensation, refusing and now refusing to finish the job of installing a new power cable that we still have no idea why its needed. Operations Manager called Phil Smart basically calling me a liar in an e-mail and then lying himself! You couldnt make it up, not very Smart.

Atrocious, undertook works immediately outside my house and caused my cellar (tanked and son's bedroom) to flood. Ignored our call for help until the sixth day at which room was totally flooded. They are now saying that they are not accepting liability for flooding our home. Totally unacceptable.
