Brought the New World grey/black 10kg washing machine 13 months ago from Argos. 3 months ago it started leaking water form the door. Called them and they sent engineer. Said they would replace door seal and draw dispenser but yet still waiting and they dint have the parts when we call. The washer will not stay under the work surface even when it was levelee using a spirit level. The drum sounds like it has a dry bearing when it spinning and that's when it actually does deside to spid has it only spins when it wants to. They are an utter waste time and DO NOT buy this brand. If no joy when I call them next they are being reported to trading standards

Bought the oven fan broke down after first use. Called up customer service said it needs a part waiting for 4 weeks and no apology or settlement. Not worth it really.

Bought a newworld cooker still under warranty been out 5 times but the same problem fan keeps packing up now waiting for them to come for the 6th time
Asked for a replacement but they won't
Don't buy from these customer service very bad

if I could give no starts I would, don't buy i have had a cooker 2 yrs that broke twice no oven, repairs don't get back to you absolute nightmare

New world double oven gas cooker bought from argos is the worst cooker ive ever had.
Top oven is so small its useless and the bottom oven shelves tip when lifting food out.
The oven goes out so food not cooked and takes forever to cook anything.
Small pans tip up on hob.
Top oven door doesnt open flat so anything to try to put on it slipd back into oven.
Bottom oven narrow inside and the shelf spacers just not in the right places.
I could go on forever about its faults.
Only 3 months old and i am considering getting rid and buying decent cooker.
How come all the reviews on Argos gave it 5 stars its not worthy of 1 star.

I had a New World washing machine NWDHT714W which after 25 months (1 month outside the warranty) had a massive water leak from the underneath. Lifted up the machine and the concrete blocks had sheared off and were in pieces. They had obviously been thrashing around and broken a hole in the drum which could also be seen from underneath. Nothing New World will do to remedy.

Bought a new world grey washing machine last year and can honestly say its the worst washing machine I've ever had!!! When spinning it sounds like a fighter jet taking off the floors vibrate the dishes move and clatter on the draining board!!! Would not recommend at all

Was sent a broken cooker from argos 6 months ago never used the cooker it sat there for few months I was always just using my air fryer went to turn the cooker on and set it all up the thing is broke. Told ide get a phone call back to get a engineer out because argos wouldn't return it because it was over the 30 day period or something a weeks passed no one's phoned me been on phone for e a hour keep getting cut off can't get through , xmas in a few days and I'm left without a cooker for Xmas Dinner can't exactly use my air fryer for that I will also be leaving a review on argos website , funny thing is my old cooker was working fine I should have just kept that

Shocking customer service been ringing since Thursday last week for a cooker repair and constantly told different stuff and told an engineer will be in touch doesn’t happen getting really  frustrated now with them

Honestly don't bother with anything "New World" might produce, we had a tumble dryer of there's on a rental contract with a local electrical company, to say this beast was bottom end of the market would be the understatement of the forever, utter piece of muck unfit for purpose, the timer dial did whatever it wanted to do despite human input, and the filter is another story altogether, its mounted on the back wall of the drum, which means you have to be a contortionist to get it out to clean it, getting back is even worse!!!!, I have honestly been left traumatise by my experience with New World, even gone to another white goods rental company, one that promises me they don't use those machines as there so crapit!!!!

New World duel fuel cooker oven cost £450, the oven lightbulb stopped working after 2 months and after 8 months of only weekend use, the fan oven started burning all the food. I honestly would never buy this brand again.

Got a New world washing machine in September 2021 from Argos, started making clanking loud noises and then the drum paddle got displaced and the "engineer" they claim is to come fix it hasn't appeared at all. Called several times and even called argos. No help at all. Imagine the tons of laundry I currently within 3 weeks of this happening. Just got fed up and literally had to get a new washing machine because all these bad reviews show that you will get nothing out of them. The worst company out there, how they function in the UK and how Argos will keep carrying their products is beyond me. PLS SAVE YOUR PRECIOUS POUNDS AND AVOID THIS COMPANY. EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM IS BAD 👎

Washing machine less than 2 years old and the glass in the door cracks and falls into the washing machine. New world was no help told me to buy a new door as warranty didn’t cover doors

I bought a new world cooker only 2 months ago and the grill element didn’t go red so basically it couldn't make toast or cheese on toast, I bought it from Argos. I have complained several times and they eventually sent out an engineer who himself stated it wasn’t fit for purpose. However he didn’t state this on his report Argos told me to get my own independent electrical engineer report. I also phoned New World and the guy was trying to over talk me kept telling me that’s all the could do in my opinion never buy a NewWorld cooker customer service is a disgrace my cooker certainly isn’t fit for purpose.
I have given one star ,however, if there was a minus I would have given that.
I’m a pensioner and I don’t need this aggravation.

Bought my cooker thinking it will be my last 1 ha how wrong was I. Oven broke twice within 3 months phoned them up engineer fixed it first time after weeks of wating , phoned again after 2nd fault still wating for the call from engineer. Phoned newworld again "so sorry about you experience " yeh bet you are. Told them not happy at all wanting to make a complaint got the ball rolling, now wating for manager to ring me back.Told them get this piece of rubbish our of my house.

My wife bought this against my better judgement. In 60 years of cooking its the worst cooker I have ever encountered. The burners seem to have two settings; high and low with nothing in between. One must push the spark mechanism and hold it at least twice for a burner to remain lit, the same with the oven and grill. The metal grill that sits on top of the burners has wide spaces so a small saucepan can easily topple over. There's no shelf for the grill but fortunately we'd saved the one from our previous cooker. If using the grill for toast, have a book handy because you'll be able to read a chapter. I have an oven thermometer and gas 6 gets to 200 but when the thermostat clicks in the temperature drops and the dial must be upped to 7, if needing gas 4, set at 5.
People left 5* reviews on Argos and I can only assume that they've only cooked on an open fire before using one of these. As soon as I can afford it this one is going to the tip. I won't even give it away because I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Never, ever buy a New World oven.

I am a carer, money is tight, I look after my chronically ill husband, a daughter with mental health problems and also aid mum who has had a stroke.
For Christmas I saved up and purchased a New World fan oven.
It was installed.
It cooked the Christmas turkey beautifully.
The oven was cleaned afterwards as per manufactures instructions.
My oven never worked again.
The fan does not move.
This is not due to a dirty oven, my oven is immaculate.
My oven was under guarantee.
I e:mailed New World, they never responded.
I spoke to Freeman Street appliances, he said it was a fault with the oven and it was New Worlds responsibility not his.
Nobody ever took responsibility.
As a result I have a very expensive 400 cupboard for pots n pans, I only use if for storage.
My Mum gave me a present of a oven combi small air fryer.
I am so sad and disappointed with New World.
You can never get through to them on the phone.
AFTER READING AND HEARING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLES COMPLAINTS CONCERNING NEW WORLD OVENS WE HAVE DECIDED THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, IT IS SELLING FAULTY OVENS.

Brought a faulty oven keeps cutting out and is exceptionally hot, as a result its caused cosmetic damage but new world won't recognise that and they don't deal with cosmetic damage. The engineer from new world advised us to still use the oven but only run it for about 20 mins just incase! Don't worry that you could set fire to your home! The customer service for this company is non exitent, Haley is nice but don't actually expect the call back she will promise and if you can actually make a formal complaint which can apparently only be made to a manager in person (who is off and do t know when will be back) could email complaint but the email address isn't manned so pot luck if they respond to it, save your money and time avoid the company like the plague! Thank heavens Argos has now intervened and are taking the cooker away and refunding my money 🙌

Delivered a faulty oven. Customer service inapt. Was told an engineer would contact me. 7 days later nothing. Tried ringing again. Just excuses DONT BUY NEW WORLD PRODUCTS
