Nitecore HQ refuses to honor warranty for documented zipper failure

I am a military reservist who trusted Nitecore for my tactical gear, but my BP23 Pro suffered a complete zipper failure. Nitecore HQ offered a resolution for the failure (Case #1109679853794433), yet they are now dragging their feet and refusing to follow through with a fair solution.
​They redirected me to their 'Official' AliExpress store, which offered a laughable $10 discount for a failed $150 bag. Nitecore’s 'Lifetime Warranty' is a hollow promise. They ignore final emails and refuse to stand behind their own proposed solutions. If you need gear that actually works and a brand that has integrity, look elsewhere. Absolute failure of customer support.

They Have 'Deleted' Negative Reviews Before

I've purchased THREE usb a to usb c cables directly from their website for charging their battery banks that have failed within less than a few months of regular use some years ago. With the way they changed how their website looks over time, either my review calling them out on their cable quality was well-hidden, or it was just flat out removed until I logged into my account to publish it AGAIN because it 'magically' disappeared. I have no longer supported them as a business since then. Now, the only cables I see on their website are ones with colored accents on them (yellow/blue).

USELESS.

USELESS.
They were incapable to offer service or support for a Nitecore Product. Even though it was purchased from overseas, the local represents NiteCore, but doesn't support them. Noe were they willing to provide a referral to another company who might be capable to provide the repair work needed.
USELESS; POOR COMMUNICATORS; Neo-FRAUDULENT in the their representation. Maybe the ACCC needs to look into their practices and failure business and representation model.

Look elsewhere for more reputable products that can get the support needed when needed.

Avoid the CW10 fan like the plague as it is no more than overpriced garbage, worth I would say, no more than £10....Threw it straight in the bin as I couldn't be bothered to return it...Almost £50 HOW!!!....I see no responses on here which speaks volumes about Nitecores's customer support or lack thereof!!!!

Nitecore flashlight garbage do not buy

broke was sent on a wild goose chase for warranty they will not replace your stuff. Over priced , fragile, no warranty do NOT buy from these guys spend your money elsewhere. Here is an update they eventually sent me a warranty replacement , i think only because I made such a fuss even though they sent me a new one I will never deal with this company again.

Dangerous products and unsurprisingly the Chinese owned company does not care.

I bought batteries from this company and within a few days the battery itself had deformed. I knew exactly what was going on but thought I would reach out to nitecore whilst feigning ignorance. No response. I disposed of the batteries that would have potentially failed dangerously had I carried on using them. Just another product from Chy-Nah

Absolutely abysmal customer service from MANVENTURE, their U.K. distributor, purchased a head torch from amazon and it broke after a few months, all attempts at contacting the UK customer support for help was pointless, they just ignore you, STAY AWAY , i had to get help from China.

STAY AWAY!!! Support in Germany is terrible. Claim a 5 year warranty ... and after 3,5 years they say "Sorry, no more spare parts, bad luck". Never again a China-brand with bad local service.

Nitecore will give you nightmares, try and look for alternatives

I want to highlight that Nitecore produces excellent flashlights. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue with the Nitecore TM28, and despite sending it for repair, the problem recurred. Additionally, during the repair process, my original attachment was misplaced. Despite reporting these issues to the service team, I have not received any response to my emails, and there has been no effort made to rectify the situation. This has been a frustrating and painful experience for me, especially considering the expense of the flashlight and the additional courier charges incurred for the repair. I am disappointed not only with the inadequate repair but also with the misplacement of the attachments by the Nitecore team.

Just tried to make a purchase

Just tried to make a purchase, and when I was going through the payment process I entered my payment info on the website and then was redirected to some kind of donation page from PayPal for a Rodger Donoan. Then I was asked to re-enter my payment info for this PayPal donation page. This is a red flag. Why do I have to enter this info again on a completely different web page? Suspect. I was suckered in by the ridiculous price the item was being offered at as well. Like 1/3rd the price. Stay away. Was looking to buy the Olight Marauder Mini at $90.00, which is 1/3rd the list. Unheard of. This is a suckers play. Stay away from this shady site.

Premium prices, poor electronics. After the brief warranty you're on your own

Since 2013 our household has purchased a number of Nitecore flashlights for use in both our house and vehicle. During this time we thought we were paying a premium price for sturdy, well-made products that would last. But after a recent experience with one of their products failing due to poor quality, we've changed our minds about this brand, especially after their disappointing response.

One of the lights we purchased in late 2019 (which was delivered in January of 2020) began failing late last year. It had seen only careful, intermittent use in a kitchen drawer. If the light had had a total runtime of an hour by that point we'd be surprised. And yet the light was suddenly flickering on the highest setting. We did a bit of research online and found some other accounts of this occurring, including YouTube videos about it. It was suggested that these "Made in China" products are perhaps sloppy in the way their internal electronics are manufactured and assembled.

At the beginning of this year, we contacted Nitecore about what could be done about this issue. And we were disappointed that the response was "Sorry, but our warranty is only two years and you're beyond that." The fact that we've patronized the brand for a decade, purchased a slew of their products, and that in our state (Washington) there is an implied warranty of merchantability that suggests that a product should not malfunction within four years of purchase, didn't matter to Nitecore.

Nitecore's solution was to offer us a coupon off the purchase of a new $160 flashlight. Or, we could pay more than a third of the original cost to send the flashlight off to China for 12 weeks to have it repaired. Neither of those options sounded very good to us. How could we now purchase another new product with the new knowledge that it might similarly fail, and that Nitecore would be stand by it?

So our solution will be to sell the (working) Nitecore lights we have on eBay and to permanently depart the brand, never to return. We regret buying from Nitecore in that they do not stand by their products or value their customers. We've filed complaints with the state's Attorney General and the BBB (which Nitecore just ignored) and will be posting online reviews so that other customers may be warned that while Nitecore sells at a premium price, they do not seem to make premium products that last. Nor will they be that concerned when their products fail after a relatively short time.

We take meticulous care of the things we have. And we're confident that there is nothing we did to this light to cause it to malfunction in this way. And yet Nitecore is not standing by the quality of their product.

Our money didn't break after we gave it to Nitecore. Their products shouldn't break after they give them to us.

Chinese Company - With No Support and Products that Break

This yet another company from China that produces products that start off great, AND THEN STOP WORKING. Glitzy Marketing, and Shiny Products that look cool, BUT BREAK EASILY.
Once broken - THERE IS NO SUPPORT, let alone NO Support in the United States; THERES NO USEFUL INFOMATION on their website.

My MT1A Flashlight, started off great; Then I changed the battery....
IT STOPPED WORKING
Tried various AA batteries on the chance that some were slightly different - DID NOT WORK
Tried extending the spring - DID NOT WORK
So now I have an expensive flashlight
That does not Work
AND
No company Online Support
No telephone support (Unless you CALL CHINA)
Have to try Emailing China about the warranty

This is a lousy customer experience, and as you can READ on the other reviews, not an isolated occurrence.
AVOID - There are better alternatives made in the USA

I have used many TacLights throughout…

I have used many TacLights throughout my life, starting from the Navy, private security, and SRT work. I saw this add from Nitecore for a 4400 Lumen EDC light for about 130.00. I was very skeptical but I had to at least give it a try. 4 years later, I still use the same light while on duty and when I am traning with my SRTeam. I had a PowerTac, Fenix, the popular Streamlight and Helius. I know there are more out there but my i4000R is by far the best I have used. I am now looking at getting the new TM12K in a few weeks. I definitely recommend Nitecore to anyone...especially security and law enforcement.

Low quality items at a premium price

Low quality items at a premium price. That's bad enough but the terrible UK customer service that follows with this is what's so abysmal about Nitecore. Antony Cole was the person I had the displeasure of dealing with in this instance. Instead of making any vague attempt to retain your custom by making an exchange on an item that doesn't perform as it should, I was given excuses to why they didn't need to address the problem and he seemed to believe talking down to you is a good enough explanation as to why their products don't perform.

The UK website is also trash. Total waste of time and requires disabling pop-up blockers just to get a simple order through. It's really not worth the headache since the products and deprecating attempts at customer service fall so short.

Waste of time. Waste of money. Rude staff. Give this company a miss.

Battery pack is garbage

Battery pack is garbage. Worked for a few charges and then I took it off grid excited to save a few ounces and it declined to work, resulting in my carrying around extra weight for no reason. Two thumbs way down

I purchased a TIP SE Flashlight

I purchased a TIP SE Flashlight from Nitecore directly, which stopped working around half way through the warranty period (I literally only turned it on a few times). I contacted Nitecore and they told me I am responsible to pay for the shipping from Connecticut to Texas to have the Flashlight fixed. It was going to cost me $13.00 to ship it to them (for a Flashlight that costs around $29). I went back to them and told them I should not have to pay another $13 to have it fixed while it’s still under warranty and asked them to either send me a free shipping label or replace the unit. They responded back that I am responsible for the shipment back to them and it usually costs around $5 to ship items back to them. Well, not from CT to Texas. And I used a very small 6.25” x 3.25” box. I will never purchase another item from this company again.
