The support /warrenty process must of been created by a bunch of kids.

Poor feedback on here ( Trustpillot ) speaks volumes.

Stay well clear of Noco products because the Noco support teams is out to set obstacles for the supporting customer rather than focusing in customer satisfaction.

I bought the G3500 several years ago

I bought the G3500 several years ago. A couple years ago the display was not working correctly. Recently I read that it may be a defect and contact the company if you had the older serial number. I did. They want $26 and send it back on my dime. I can buy someone else’s for that much.

I purchase a NOCO genius5 with a 3yr 'Hassle free warranty'.
The item was not heavily used but stopped working completely after two years. Halfords who sold the item were not able to help so I contacted the NOCO website. After numerous emails it became clear that NOCO were not interested in honouring their warranty,they were just looking for reasons to avoid any costs. My advice to anyone thinking about buying a NOCO product would be forget the warranty it doesn't exist.

Early Product Failure but Excellent Customer Support

Reviews for this company are all over the place, so my experience fits with some other reviewers, but not others. I bought a GB70 jump start unit in Sept 2020. It's an expensive unit (£170 on Amazon UK), designed to handle engines up to 8 litres, and apparently solid and well constructed. I used it once and it worked well, then went overseas and didn't attempt to use it again until March 2022. It had lost most of its charge by then, and when I switched it on it wouldn't power off. When I did eventually manage to recharge it, only the flashlight worked. As the unit was out of warranty I searched around for support; at this price point you don't throw and forget. However, although NOCO products are widely available in the UK, and there is an official distributor, the latter's website doesn't provide any info on support or repairs. (There are a fair number of YouTube DIY repair videos around. The techniques were above my pay grade but their existence implies that problems are not uncommon.) I therefore contacted NOCO customer support. I had an immediate response, and, when I had explained the problem, was asked to provide proof of purchase and if the product had been modified/repaired (it hadn't and still looked pristine). I was then requested to provide photographic evidence that I had put the unit beyond use by severing the charging cables (a rather unusual request), after which NOCO shipped a replacement. I haven't used it yet but everything appears to be working as it should. So in my case NOCO acted with integrity and definitely went the extra mile by replacing the unit outside the warranty period and with no quibbles. That said, I would be happier if they had an after sales service facility in the UK - these things are too heavy to airfreight casually!

Poor communication and apparent unawareness of customer account profile info.

I bought several NOCO products and was pretty impressed. However, the NLP14 battery I bought failed after sitting unused for a few months. I requested a warranty replacement after buying a NOCO Genius10 charger to try restoring the battery, and after many weeks, NOCO says they shipped me a new battery. The problem is that they shipped it to an old address, despite my having long ago updated my info in my NOCO account and writing to them to tell them they needed to send it to my new address. After I informed them of this, they stopped responding to my emails. Now I am just out of luck and NOCO gets to do whatever they want.

UPDATE: They never acknowledged their mistake in shipping my battery to a wrong address, but they DID send a new one to me at my correct address. Their communication remains sub-par, but it appears they are honest, and their batteries and chargers are definitely top-quality.

Got a gb70 used it 5/6 times over year maybe year and a half. Worked well. Went to start a car with it about 2 months ago. Nothing fully charged every thing works expect the booster. Went to halfords they told me 12 months warranty on them. And they didn't want to no. Got in touch with noco. They say 112.48 dollars and they will ship me a new one.ask them has it had updated components. Answer no so it might fail again. Might buy a cheap one. Don't buy one

I Have a NOCO (Should be called (NO-GO) GB40 its less than one year old & would not start my 2L Diesel VW amarok from flat.
On the box it boasts it will start upto a 3L Diesel this is in its self false advertising because it DID NOT START my truck don't wast your money it looks pretty but wont do the job

NOCO is ripping me off

Ordered a GB40 and other items on 12/15/21, paid for the items and as of this posting it has not shipped. I sent numerous messages to their useless support people, did get one response saying the order would process for nine days then ship, well that's today, guess what not shipped. I will dispute the charge and file a consumer compliant with he Ohio AG, BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

Bought my one 2 years ago lost paper work as u do but in the 2 years used 4 times went to charge it up now socket is broken cant get no help a tall in uk took to phone shop they wont help

Bought the gbx45 for my Mazda 6 2.2…

Bought the gbx45 for my Mazda 6 2.2 diesel and it work amazingly.

Not sure what people are talking about..

My battery was dead dead dead - the key fob wouldn’t even work..

With only 2 reds light on (not even charged) I connected it - which is amazing as it doesn’t matter which way round you put the cables due to its safety feature (which is great as I know if anything happens and the wife is using it with the kids it’s totally totally safe)

Powered it on and turned the key over - nothing happened - the battery was dead as we had been trying to turn it over so much that we drained the battery totally.

HOWEVER one press of the override button and the electrics reset and I turned it over and it started straight away…it took me 30 seconds from connecting it up to it starting/working.

I had originally bought a pack from XXXXX PARTS and it only worked on cars up to 2 litres - this goes upto 4 litres..diesel and 6ish petrol.

It’s now fully charged and in my car always…

Not sure what the bad reviews are about as for me it does what it’s supposed and worth the money for future issues and also charging phones etc!! If your looking for a good product buy this it’s worth the extra bit of money - 5 year warranty too!

NOCO GB50, simply great !

I bought a Noco GB50 based on the reviews I read on-line. The reason for buying it was because my car had a temperamental alternator which worked when it felt like it. Used the product for 7 months without issue and then courtesy of Uber, my car was written off so got a new car with a working alternator. Didn't need to use the Noco for about 2 months then my wife left the lights on and flattened the battery. Sadly the on/off button on the Noco didn't work. Contacted Noco who bent over backwards to deal with my warranty claim. Despite not having a UK agent the replacement item was sent from the USA within 2 weeks. The hardest part was dealing with UK Customs and Excise who wanted a second amount of import duty and VAT. Eventually they accepted the item was already duty paid etc and released it

I'm very happy with the GB50 and would happily recommend them to anyone

Failed miserably

Bought Noco Boost Plus GB40 in February, 2021 as it says it will start a 2 liter diesel. Used in June and failed miserably. Useless.

Bought a noco gb50 Oct 2020

Bought a noco gb50 Oct 2020. Not used till feb 2021 to try and start a 2l car. Fully charged and it would not turn the engine over. Contacted NoCo for warranty and have been given brexit , non available, warehouse movements as excuses after being told in feb that it had been released under the warranty. Now they will not answer my correspondence
Heard these were the bees knees but no think I’ve got an invalid hive

Bought a GB40 October 2020

Bought a GB40 October 2020. Packing and feel of the product is very good, however, I have an issue with it.

I’ve used it several times on varying different size engines. It has started them, but my complaint is it only last a few attempts before runs out of charge and no where near up to 20 as stated.

I emailed their customer service explaining I tried it several times on different size engines but lasts no where near 20 attempts. The reply they sent appears to be templated response clearing not reading my complaint, as they state it depends on size of the engine but their tests often have more than 20 start attempts.

I explained I tried it on varying engine sizes from small to larger and still lasts nowhere near 20!

Still waiting for follow up reply from Noco

Not worthwhile. Overpriced junk.

I bought a NOCO GB40 for my 2015 Subaru Forester, false peak current, and the battery capacity is the only 24Wh, and still cost me $100. Worked once and has never worked since. Every time I try to start a car, the device just has a click noise internally and fails to start the vehicle. So much for being durable and long lasting...

i have just bought gb70 .The manual is in all different languages. English is in russian .there is no English manual,The on line manual is unreadable.this is very poor start . thinking of returning this back.

Bought a Noco Genius G1100…

Bought a Noco Genius G1100 charger/optimiser which stopped working after less than a year, managed to get a replacement ( which is why I've given 2 stars instead of one) now the replacement has stopped working, appears to be the same issue, response from Noco still hasn't resolved the issue. If I had known the lifetime of this product was only around 12 months, I would have saved some money and bought a cheaper alternative.
