Great company to use. This is my second experience with Norfolk Solar and was just as impressed as the first. Found Craig and the team very helpful and knowledgeable. Everything is explained in easy to understand terms and they are always very obliging.

They give prompt and efficient service and I have always thought right from installation the worked and after service has been excellent,
Where I think they fall down is the production of the invoice I am not used to having to wait over a month for the bill . I would expect one in a week!

Norfolk solar are honest and have always given me helpful advice that they do not gain from.I get a lot of cold callers because somewhere I must be on a list of solar panel owners.They are usually trying to sell me something,if I ring norfolk solar they are able to give me accurate advice as to what the cold call is about and then 8 can choose what to do about it.

Your agent was courteous and efficient. he explained what he was doing so I understood.
I think my panels will continue to work efficiently although because of awkward access he was not able to look at the actual panels.

I had my first solar panels with this firm years ago. It was good to find them still so approachable and helpful . I now have huge amounts of paper work which I don't understand but they explained all I needed to know. Panels working brilliantly!

From the minute I made the phone call I was treated with courtesy and they sent someone out to look at the problem. He was very thorough and even though no fault could be found good advice was given to assist us. They have made it clear they will be there again if the fault materialises again. Most mpressed

Just had Norfolk Solar complete the regular service of our solar panels. Once again it was completed by Richard who is extremely professional, works extremely clean and keeps you fully informed of everything he needs to do/replace before he carries the work out. I always feel completely satisfied of the quality of the service and the price charged. A very professional company with excellent tradesmen. Never had a reason to call Norfolk Solar outside of their service plans. Thank you.

Norfolk Solar installed our panels 5 years ago and battery 3 years ago. Both went smoothly and neatly. A later hardware problem was sorted quickly.
Recent advice has enabled us to save much more money by also charging the battery with cheap power overnight.

Reliable and good communication

What these guys don’t know isn’t worth knowing.

We had moved in to a property with an old system that wasn’t working as well as it should within 2.5hrs they had the system up and running and working like a dream.

I choose Norfolk Solar to install our Solar PV because they are a local company, they have been in business for a long time, and (typical for here in Norfolk) because of word of mouth. They co-work with Solar Power GB.
I have now got 24 solar panels on my roof, a SolarEdge inverter in my spare room and a 10kWh SolarEdge battery next to it, producing, storing and exporting solar energy. I am pretty sure that I will use very little electricity from the grid, averaged over the year, and my export to the grid in summer will offset my import during winter.
I would not have been able to do this without the help and advice from the Norfolk Solar team.
There is Craig in the office. We had lots of telephone calls, and he was wonderfully patient, answering thousands of my questions and helping me to choose the right system for my house. He is very organised and guided me through the administrative part, actually, he did a lot of forms and applications for me. He made an administrative process, which could have been extremely complicated, look very easy. He was always friendly and reassuring on the phone (even when I thought one my hens had hidden in his van, but that is a different story ....). Basically, he is the person you need when (like me) you have no idea how to get a solar PV system onto your roof!
There is Jack, the roofer. He is a friendly guy with many years of experience who was happy to explain the installation process to me and answer (even more) questions. He had the whole lot installed, on his own, within 1 1/2 days, including cables and bird protection. I admired how carefully he carried these huge solar panels up the scaffolding ladders!
There are the engineers, Dany, Richard, Darren, and Ben on the phone. I needed a lot of engineers because there was a problem with two missing parts for the inverter and for battery. It was a little bit complicated and needed two extra days to sort it out, but everybody worked incredibly hard and somehow they managed not to loose their sense of humour.
I must say, Richard was the star of the team! I could not believe my eyes when he came back late in the afternoon on the second day, having found the missing chip somewhere in the local depot, and then proceeded to fixing it and getting the battery to work (he should have gone home hours ago). Richard is usually dealing with the solar thermals. I had known him from the past, some 20 years ago, when as an apprentice with a different company he installed our solar water system. This is what I meant when I mentioned "word of mouth" earlier!
So, my conclusion: It was a pleasure having Norfolk Solar working for me. Installing a solar PV system on my roof, something which I had dreaded for many years, became an easy and even enjoyable process. I love watching the solar energy showing up on my SolarEdge app. I am happy to do my part for the environment.

Prompt,punctual,experienced,aware of possible snags and how to deal with them . The system was then left working better than when it was installed 16 years ago.A very pleasant experience.
The page on the website for invoice and payment did not seem to exist , but we sorted that out by telephone with a very efficient office staff .
