We have not received the delivery of flooring yet but we were very impressed by the helpfulness of OFD staff on the phone. They also instilled confidence by recommending cheaper alternative accessories where they thought we neednt pay for more expensive materials providing no gain.

I recently purchased some beautiful engineered oak flooring from Oak Flooring Direct. The friendly professional service I received was 5 star. Katie and Ashleigh know their products very well and nothing was too much trouble. I was given a large sample board to take home to check that I liked the flooring before I purchased it, and a small sample to keep. Small samples are so useful to take along to fabric and paint shops.
I purchased in stock flooring and it was delivered the same day! The delivery driver was polite and very helpful.
The new flooring looks fabulous.

Great service from the team at Oak flooring direct. I have been looking for a new floor for my kitchen since the new year, Oak flooring direct helped me pick the right product at a great price. The flooring was delivered on time and looks great could not be happier with the service.

Installation of wood flooring is a skill so be sure to thoroughly research the company well before you commit who you give your business to. I decided to use John Lewis, but just before pandemic hit, I changed my mind and opted to support OFD which is a local business and seemed to be good thanks to their pleasant sales staff. To test the quality of work, we decided to cover first only 9 sqm of corridor with beautiful Woodpecker flooring.
Initially, couple of contractors came and covered the floor with latex. The next day another team of installers arrived and began work and finished within a week. After thorough inspection, I discovered that most doors were chipped at the bottom due to contractor’s use of blunt tools to shave off the excess and enable for easy door opening and closing. A lot of the floor chevrons were chipped and damaged in the same way. Needles to tell you that our freshly painted white walls had to be re done three times due to fingerprints and bits of glue, how much mess and dust they created in the flat by cutting the doors without removing them from the frames. When I remarked, the sales team sent yet another contractor to resolve the issue. It took one full year to finish the job, partially due to COVID and mainly due to contractor’s mistakes. I decided to be patient and accommodate them with constant change of timings, sudden leaving to attend to another job where there was a “major problem” which I overheard during contractors chat on site. To make things good, OFD have organised for five doors to be painted white on the damaged side, while the other side remains yellowish white, the 20 year old colour that I actually liked and did not want to change due to being asthmatic I cannot tolerate the awful smell of paint. This work is actually still ongoing and we are waiting for the paint job to be finished tomorrow and yet another contractor to come and replace the ramp at the main entry door. Overall experience very disappointing and I can only thank God for deciding to cover only 9 sqm of the floor. The other 100 sqm will be done by John Lewis professional team as soon as this ordeal is over.

Excellent service with very helpful and professional staff. Price also the best. Oak Flooring had the product I wanted in stock, which I needed quickly and they were able to deliver the same day as I am located in Bristol. Only company to provide a proper written quotation attached to email, other suppliers simply sent an email.

Was very impressed with the service I got from the team especailly Kate in slaes. Easy to use website where I ordered variuos samples which were posted very quickly. Kate talked me through my order and she was a joy to order from!
All my flooring was delivered on time and again great service from the driver.

I came on Trust Pilot after a terrible experience with a flooring competitor who let me down on the day of delivery. Agnes at OFD rescued me - we found a suitable alternative on the day and delivery made within two hours (I live near their head office). She was pleasant to deal with, worked around my requests and budget and was utterly professional throughout. The quality of engineered wood is also incredible for the price.
