Car went in for repair after breaking down 2024 got it back after 3 months broke down within a month went back to them said we needed new engine. Kept messing us about and had the car for A YEAR. Finally got it back two days later whilst going away for Xmas it broke down on again in a dangerous place. Ended up at BMW garage who checked it and said it should never have been on the road as was dangerous to drive. 5890.00 out of pocket. Took further via court who actioned enforcement officers to go in and hey ho they have done a runner.

TO ALL that have had dealings with Odin auto repair in Bodmin and NOT got your car back ... He is scrapping them all as from today 8/4/26 and tomorrow 9/4/26.. I was lucky enough to go there after work today and get mine back after him having it for over a year ... I was lucky someone shared the information as I wouldn't have known otherwise. My car was due to be scrapped tomorrow morning as someone had bought a load of them .. so alot of them haven't got logbook with them ... but Jimmy is selling them off for scrap regardless . So if you think one of them is yours or you have the logbook and its Odin auto repair...Contact the police straight away

AVOID LIKE YOU WOULD THE PLAGUE. Cheap parts dangerous work. Left my car with loose engine mounted bolts after cambelt. Water pump lasted 3 years and cambelt was over tightened
Ive been driving round the UK with loose mounting bolts with children in the car .

I needed some repairs on my car, and Odin got it all sorted out straight away. They found the parts, repaired some of it on the day, and booked me in to do the rest asap. They also advised me on something I asked about and were really patient and helpful.
They were pleasant, professional and speedy. Really good lads, they looked after me and my car. Thank you Odin

Bought a converted van from Jimmy in September and he assured us he had done a full service and that everything was perfect mechanically on it. With the work all done by himself, personally. Collected the van and the it made it less than an hour up the road before monumentally dying in a cloud of smoke and oil pouring out, in the middle of a very busy A30 with nowhere to safely stop and our 3 year old son on board!
Spent almost 2 hours trying to contact Jimmy - 24 hour phone line is a joke as no one answered that! Finally got through and after discussing everything that was wrong with the van Jimmy agreed to have the van back. We gave a month for him to get our money back to us.......3 months later and he still has £5600 of our money and is ignoring our messages and calls. He claims the van was his step dads, but payment went into Jimmy's bank account and there has been no contact from his 'step dad' at all. Having seen other reviews it looks like he owes a fair few other people money too!
